Folks *THIS* is exactly why patriotic Kentuckians need to hunker down, bite their lip and vote for Democrat Allison Grimes in the general election this fall.   Is Allison Grimes a liberal moonbat?  Oh heck yes… she ain’t moderate – she’s a loon.    But after you read this article, citing the justification from McConnell for McConnell, you’ll probably recognize it’s better to vote in an honest liberal moonbat than keep around a lying Benedict Arnold who lies, manipulates and schemes, as a matter of his inherent constitution and cannot be trusted.

KENTUCKY – Mitch McConnell hasn’t spoken to Matt Bevin since primary night — but he’s convinced that Bevin voters will come home to Team Mitch in November.

Senate Minority Leader McConnell (R-Ky.) appeared alongside conservative icon Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) at a Friday presser in Louisville to tout party unity, hoping to heal the Kentucky GOP’s wounds incurred during a vicious primary contest between Bevin and McConnell, in which the insurgent Bevin received the backing of 35 percent of Republican voters.

Bevin has not endorsed McConnell and said earlier this week the senator will “have a hard time” defeating Democratic candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes. At this point he will only say he won’t support a Democrat this fall.

But McConnell used the example of Paul, who defeated McConnell’s preferred candidate in the Senate primary in 2010, Trey Grayson, to predict that Kentucky Republicans will rally around the GOP leader in November when faced with a choice between him and Grimes.

“He has indicated pretty forcefully that he won’t support” Grimes, McConnell said of Bevin. “By the time Rand got to the general election he got 91 percent of the votes.”

Paul plans to hit the campaign trail hard for McConnell this fall and said he hopes to play the same role in 2014 that McConnell played in 2010: As a Republican uniter after a nasty intraparty conflict.  (read more)

There’s a reason why President Obama has a higher approval rating in Kentucky than Mitch McConnell – a damn good reason.    When Rand Paul was running for Senator in Kentucky 2010 the GOP machine -pushed by Mitch McConnell- supported the other guy in the primary, Trey Grayson.

What Mitch McConnell does not want people to know:   Trey Grayson is now the head of Democrat Gabby Giffords SuperPac – He works with Robert Reich, Bill Clinton’s former Labor Secretary:

Trey Grayson, the former Kentucky secretary of state and Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2010, is running a political action committee formed by former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords that will try to elect Democrats who want to work with Republicans. (link)

McConnell tries to guilt people into supporting him, yet McConnell himself will never give an inch to support anyone except his specifically chosen ideologues.    Mitch is all about Mitch 100% of the time.   And he sucks.

tom donohueMcConnell is ideologically aligned with, and friends with, Tom Donohue, the President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.    Donohue and the CoC have funded Mitch and the other members of the Decepticon GOP establishment.

Tom Donohue has openly stated his alignment with Mitch McConnell and the GOP establishment is to get three things accomplished.  #1) Immigration reform with amnesty;  #2) Full implementation of Obamacare; and #3)  Federal Common Core education standards.
