Oprah Compares Young President Obama (aka Trayvon Martin) To Emmett Till Lynching…

Because obfuscating real crime and racism with false crimes and racism has proven to be a modern effective strategy of the BGI.   What would ‘white guilt’ be without it...

Alas the problem for the Winfrey team becomes the truth of Trayvon Martin:  A street thug, kicked out of home by his own mother, known burglar, admitted drug user, violent 17-year-old, diverted for behavioral issues by the criminal justice system, and trial evidence which clearly shows he initiated the fight with George Zimmerman which led to his own death as Mr. Zimmerman was defending himself.

But why let the facts get in the way when you have a grievance story to create and sell?

National Review - While promoting her upcoming movie about a longtime black employee of the White House, The Butler, Oprah Winfrey said an interview that the death of Trayvon Martin was the “same thing” as the lynching of Emmett Till, a 14-year-old African-American boy killed in 1955 for allegedly flirting with a white woman. “Trayvon Martin — parallel to Emmett Till,” she said.

“Let me just tell you — in my mind, same thing,” she said in a preview of an interview with The Grio, an NBC [Black] News website.

She went on to urge black Americans to not “get stuck in that and not allow yourself to move forward and see how far we’ve come.”

When promoting the movie in another interview last week, in a discussion of racial slurs and young Americans’ ignorance of civil-rights history, Oprah alluded to “millions of” lynching victims who were called such words shortly before their deaths.  (read more)

Didn’t know that but I do know that ‘wolf whistling’ at a married woman who you do not know is not advisable in 1955 or 2013. Emmit Till should not have been killed but over the millennia more than one male has died for ‘flirting’ with another man’s wife. There are jealous men out there and be you 15 or 75, black or white, they don’t care.

Come on folks, dont be so stuffy. I have been saying for well over a year now that there just isnt enough hate for white people (Oprah is trying to help with this shortage by creating more and more hate for white people-as you know, last week, this white people hater exagerated the number of people lynched in the South by a thousand fold).

Let us not forget Till’s father was also placed in a diversion program of sorts (since Till’s dad kept ignoring the restraing orders, he was told to either join the army or go to prison – till was then sent to italy and raped two women there and killed at least one-but like trayvon, he was not a bad guy, he was just a typical guy in certain ghetto communities, it seems).

“Look at how far we’ve come.” Is she making a comparison between their access to Western technology, a language with vowels, and door knobs vs their folk stuck in Africa? I’m so sick of people that play the victim. Slavery was so wrong but so long ago it isn’t even a memory in the people that raised the people that raised us. People such as Frederick Douglass had every right to make such a statement but not a socialist that used capitalism to make billions.

Look how far you’ve come?, about 6000 miles and 4500 years into the future.

Actually I think Oprah lost her audience when she lost weight then started telling others how they should lose weight. Easy for her to lose all that weight when she has a personal chef, personal trainer, etc. The average viewer could not relate. Then of course you had her gaining the weight back yet still telling others how to lose weight.

Heard on the news recently that had she not added Tyler Perry to her OWN channel, it would be tanked by now. He brought it up from the grave. She’s no longer as popular as she once was.

Shayn Roby’s Take: Comparing Trayvon Martin to Emmett Till is ignorant and insulting to African Americans who have endured true racism. Trayvon Martin profiled George Zimmerman as a potential ‘gay rapist’. Rachel Jeantel unwittingly revealed this on the Piers Morgan show. Oprah, like most liberals, is insisting on ignoring the facts of this case and is intent on pretending that this was a murder, and that it was racially motivated. It was self defense, and pot smoking, Robitussin chugging Trayvon Martin was the aggressor. Oprah has knack for really “tellin’ it like it ain’t”.

Gee, I wonder if “The Young Turks” reported on this story, or commented about the fact that the National press did not report on it? Didn’t they claim that if a group of blacks were arrested for killing a white person, it would be national headline news? Didn’t THEY say that ignoring racial crime is NOT the answer? Oh wait… I forgot… it’s not a “racial crime” when blacks kill whites, is it? It’s just “social justice”

How long have they been leaving out important parts of the stories?

They have been scamming the system ever since they realized that many white people felt guilty because of the slavery that was ended 150 years ago. The ones who will “listen” to her, and believe as she believes, are NOT interested in truth – it interferes with their agenda! Saint Trayvon! A role model for the ages and an inspiration to all black youth! Right up there with Michael the Archangel – fighting demon whites wherever they find them.

…..The aging “rock star” claims that Trayvon “got justice” when he was gunned down by Zimmerman in 2012. He called him a “wannabe gangsta” with a “bloodthirst.” He then accused the slain teen of being “eager to get into fights with people” — when it was Zimmerman who had interest in fighting, authority, guns and confronting people…..

I want to know where the line is for Oprah, Jamie Foxx, and all of the other BGI enablers. Close to one end of the spectrum is Emmett Till, who was apparently a truly innocent kid and a victim of a hate crime. At the other end of the spectrum would be a total thug teen, so bad that even the BGI wouldn’t support him. And then there’s Trademark, he’s definitely on the thug side of the spectrum but not close to the end. How bad does a black juvenile need to be before the BGI doesn’t make excuses? I have no doubt that the fact a “white” took him out shifts that line.

More like someone whose actions should have gotten him a knuckle sandwich under normal circumstances, but unfortunately he was in the wrong place at a wrong time. But then again, can you even imagine what would happen to a white kid who wolf-whistles at a random baby momma chilling on a porch with a bunch of gangbangers somewhere in North Philly or Camden? I’m fairly certain police will have a hard time identifying what’s left of him.

Oprah’s got a new movie to pitch – a wonder she’s not on the late night talk show circuit. She’s also hot on the ‘lynching’ references lately so I’m wondering if she hasn’t decided to turn up the heat as the movie’s going to need a heavy opening gross to fund her empire. She’s mellowing into a Usual Suspect muckraker with a bit more class and a better grasp of standard English.

There’s something very disturbing about the glorification of a murder victim like Emmitt Till as an example of ‘black suffering’. He didn’t die trying to register to vote or enroll in university. He died because he made sexual advances on another man’s wife. The wife was offended, told her husband and, not for the first time in human history, an enraged jealous husband defended his wife’s honor by killing Till. Would it have been different if Till was white? Maybe, maybe not

I found a LIFE Magazine from 1955 where they talk about the Till case. It turns out there IS a connection.

Just like Trayvon was wearing a button showing a Thug relative, Emmett Till was wearing his father’s ring. LIFE simply said he was killed in France in 1945.

If oprah saw a young black man walking around his neighborhood, she would had sent his snipers to kill him before even calling the cops because there is no black people living his neighborhood. These stupid black rich people should stop pretending that they not had done the same thing as zimmerman because most of them are just pretending they give a carp about poor people. In their normal environment, these people are surrounded by body guards who are armed to the teeth and they will kill any one who look at their employers strange.

To even suggest any comparison to the case of Emmit Till and the case of Trayvon Martin is simply ludicrously ignorant to all but the most extremely mentally challenged. Even as ridiculous as the earlier claims comparing Sabrina Fulton to Rosa Parks were, that nowhere reaches the level of pure ignorance that Ms. Winfrey has attained with her statements. How does she plan on defending her statements? This whole continued attempt to use cultural ideology as a means to blatantly misstate facts whether it is for the purpose of excusing purely bad behavior, just simple ignorance or worst of all a race driven agenda (whether that agenda is political, monetary or other) using Trayvon Martin, Sabrina Fulton and Tracy Martin as the example to define racial victims while defining George Zimmerman as the racist is a proven lie. A ton of documented “FACTS” exist right here in the CTH archives, any of which can further be explored in other medians should needed confirmations be desired. I sure hope your new movie is based on more truth and facts than your recent statements.
