The Right Truth has nominated The Conservative Treehouse for recognition.  That means they are recognizing YOU.  Because, as Jack Cashill rightly described, the Treehouse is a blogging “collective”.   We are not, ‘one person’ – We are, ‘one conversation’.
We have no idea how this stuff works, but are humbled that your efforts are attended.   That said, here is the notation describing the approach:  There is no voting for this award, just a nod from a friend or maybe someone you don’t even know who thinks your work bears merit. Thanks to The Right Truth.  Please visit their blog at the above link.

Here are my answers to Right Truth’s questions:
1.  Should the United States pass a law forbidding a Muslim from running for and being elected as President of the United States?  Why?
(A)  No.  Silly consideration given the fact we already have one.
2.  What is your favorite joke to tell others?
(A)  Did you hear the one about the Muslim in the White House?
3.  What do you see as the most dangerous thing the Obama administration has done while in office?
(A)  During the inauguration President-elect Obama put his hand on a bible.   Bad, bad mo-jo.   Since then he has ignored the rule of law, intentionally usurped constitutional limits, and never had a single day in office with a federal budget to limit his spending authority.   Oh yeah, then there’s that embedding of the Stimulus Fund into the baseline of all annual spending discussions.
4.  What advice would you give the Republican National leadership, assuming they might actually listen?
(A)  Nothing.   They are beyond repair.   They must be dispatched to the land of perpetual irrelevance just like the progressives they support yet falsely rail against.
5.  Should toilet paper be hanging forward or backward?
(A)  Always forward – and the user should take the time while seated, doing their constitutional duty, to fold a neat little triangle into the paper for the next user.  Pass it forward with simple courtesies.
6.  Rock-N-Roll or Blues and why?
(A)   Depends on the environment.   Am I engaged in battle?  RnR works well, once the battle is won Blues can assist the decompression.
7.  Where do you see race relations and religious freedom headed in the next few years in the United States?
(A)  Race relations will continue downward as the drumbeat of division advances and the media seek a return on their investment.   Religion however, I hope, will grow steadily as people understand there are actual points where the circle closes.

Now for the good part.   I get to nominate someone else.  My two choicesPam Geller at Atlas Shruggs, and BigFurHat at iOTW.

#1  Pam for being a warriors warrior.   A heroine of the degree not seen in many lifetimes.  Intellectually she is a serious force for Freedom.   Her determination amid the face of all adversity is unparalleled.    We can all learn from her courage and fortitude.
#2  BigFurHat for being intellectually consistent, which is a rare commodity amid constant criticism when you put yourself out there.   Biggie knows the enemy, progressives, as well as they know themselves.   With that knowledge he is able to skillfully and artfully dissect their talking points, predict their moves, and yet afford his readers with humor and challenge.   He builds the arsenal, stocks the quivers, and then points out the exact location for targeting.
My 7 Questions for them:
1.)  When it sucks, when it really sucks, how do you keep going?
A
2.)  Why do you continue engaging outside the wire, instead of just finding a cave to defend easier?
A
3.)  What’s the most you ever spent on a bottle of wine or liquor?  What was it?
A
4.)  Right now, in this moment, who do you admire?
A
5.)  Who is now, or has been, in your life, your rock?
A
6.)  Our founding fathers were quite diverse in their perspectives.  If you were at the constitutional convention, and there was a break for the weekend, which group would you most like to spend that weekend talking to?
A
7.)  Define freedom.
A

Everyone please help me in letting Pam and Biggie know they have been selected, nominated and mentioned for this consideration.
Baby Newt
God bless.
