The South Carolina Senate race between Darline Graham and Ralph Norman will be very interesting to watch as the runoff date arrives soon, August 25th.
Darline Graham is supported by President Trump, the NRSCC, the professional republican class and the new endorsement from the 3rd place candidate Russell Fry. Additionally, Darline Graham has been endorsed by Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Tim Scott and other very well-known Republican brand names.
Mrs Graham has also picked up a $1 million Super-PAC donation from the leftist “Invest in Tomorrow Coalition” a clean energy and climate change advocacy group. They will be running ads against Ralph Norman.
That said, CTH has a strong hunch that Ralph Norman is going to win. There’s an internal poll showing Norman with a 12-point advantage (52/40); however, that’s not the strongest indicator.
A very unscientific review of voter sentiment visible on social media reflects a profound rejection of the Lindsey Graham legacy vote. While it is entirely possible those voices are just more algorithmically visible than Darline Graham supporters, there sure are a lot of South Carolina republican voters willing to support Ralph Norman over Graham.
It’s weird because no one seems overly enthusiastic for either candidate but voting Norman over Graham appears to be the least bad option. Darline Graham’s record working for leftist NGOs has many people rejecting her as an option.
What are your thoughts?
It is possible this race may be in the loss column for President Trump’s endorsement record.

He’s a Cornyn; we don’t know what Darlene believes. Huge power vacuum. I’m a South Carolinian and will vote for Norman. Can’t take any chance with Murkowski taking Graham under her wing. No way, no sir.
In either case it will be short term.
Trump also endorsed Evette for Governor and she lost. Whoever is telling Trump how SC voters feel is way out of touch. We were all fine with Darlineewhatsherlastname filling out Lindsey’s term, but now we are being force fed this BS. I would like to know what idiot thought it would be a good idea for this DEI devotee, Murkowski and Clyburn supported nobody to run’ as that person is a moron.
No one wants the Graham RINO political machine to continue. Trump will be 0 for 2 in SC. Will be voting Norman.
Donald shops for votes not ideology.
I never liked Lindsey Graham much, but I didn’t pay much attention to details because I am not from South Carolina. I did not like John McCain one bit. He was very stupid as far as I am concerned, and he was Lindsey Graham’s best buddy in the Senate. I never understood that connection much. I have no quarrels with Lindsey Graham’s wife but, from what I do see, she doesn’t pick her allies any better than Lindsey did. We don’t need another RINO in the Senate from anywhere in the country. Murkowski might as well be a Demcommie, so I expect any friend of hers will be stupidly voting like her in the Senate. It seems like Trump is just playing to be on the winning side and thinks this Repug can be more easily controlled, but I am not sure he has done any homework on this.
Never married..it’s his baby sister
I live in the area. There are Graham signs EVERYWHERE which I suppose just means that the RNC is spending a ton of money. I haven’t seen any Norman signs. Norman is generally well liked though.
Drew McKissick LOVES ❤️ his job!

My thoughts? A US Senate seat is NOT a family heirloom.
I’m a recent SC resident (3 years) so I dont have a solid grasp on state politics yet. But I never spoke with anyone hear who liked Lindsey in the past decade or so. Merely that no decent, electable alternatives. His sister will be a literal puppet, doing whatever she is told by his office machinery and the interests that funded him.
I voted Norman last week and will again next week. The negative adds I see out on him are beyond ridiculous, and only strengthen my decision.
I voted for Mark Lynch in the original primary against Lindsey Graham as Lynch is a Conservative Businessman from Greenville and solid MAGA, against illegals and Data Centers, and supports THE SAVE AMERICA ACT. I voted for him in the special primary since he was the only one that had run previously, where the rest jumped on when Lindsey Graham had died.
Now that we are down to Graham’s sister and Ralph Norman me and my wife will be voting for Norman. I am not happy with either but we know Norman’s voting record, which is solid, and do not like someone that got put in due to blood ties.
SC resident here. Lindsey was horrible. His sister who basically has his staff will also be horrible. My wife and I will both be voting for Norman. Although not everything we want, he is much better than Mrs. Nordone.
When the City of London call the shots our opinion as American citizens matter little.
Norman at least has a reasonably good track record. We have no idea at all what she really believes. He’s the least-bad option.
