Today after trial for jury selection Trayvon’s™ Mom, Sybrina, and Trayvon’s™ Dad, Tracy, gave a press conference.    However, just before they delivered their prepared remarks something serendipitous happened in the courtroom which brings a profound irony when contrast against their prepared statement.

#TrayvonMartin family attorneys just emailed out text of the statement Crump gave after #GeorgeZimmerman jury selection today. Here it is:

“Today on the third day of the jury selection in the Trayvon Martin murder trial we are inspired by the honesty of the potential jurors. Their answers have been forthright and we have faith that the justice system and the members of the public who are selected for the jury will perform their civic duty in a fair and impartial manner.

Yesterday, former NYPD detective Harry Houck commented to FOX that Trayvon would be alive today if he didn’t have a “street attitude.” This comment, made on a live panel, is reprehensible and extremely reminiscent of the victim blaming rhetoric we saw a year ago. We all know Trayvon Martin was an unarmed teenager, who’d just bought Skittles and a tea on a chilly Florida evening in February. George Zimmerman was an armed adult who followed Trayvon down a street, pursued him and then shot him.

We are calling on the media to refuse to perpetuate victim blaming and irresponsible characterizations of Trayvon. The evidence shows there is no blood on Trayvon’s hands. Trayvon is not on trial here, he is the victim. Trayvon’s killer, George Zimmerman, is the man who is on trial.”

The irony is thick when you consider only a few moments before a pro-Trayvon activist who received a jury notification was caught lying to the court in an attempt to secure a place on the jury.   He was identified as “E-7”:

One of the statements he made in the courtroom was this:

Candidate E7: “Someone is perfectly withing their rights to defend themselves”

E7 is a white male, in his 50′s, who works in the entertainment industry (a musician and a painter) but says he is currently “underemployed” and “things are slow.” At first he was relatively interested in the case, and thought that if the police didn’t arrest Zimmerman, there must have been a reason for that. He feels that someone has a right to defend themselves, and shouldn’t be arrested for doing so lawfully.

Later two things changed that impacted his thoughts and actions. One, Zimmerman was finally arrested. Since the facts of the case didn’t change, He wondered why the arrest didn’t happen in the first place, and believed that he should have been, since he was now. The other thing that changed was how heated the debate became, at which point he consciously decided to avoid the case and not discuss it further.

E7 says he made a conscious decision to avoid the case and not discuss it to prevent “making enemies,” and that he stopped talking about the case after he saw people around him “get so heated.” He believes, he said, that “all these suppositions don’t mean anything,” and that he’s heard recording in the case but didn’t come to any conclusions. He recalled seeing pictures of “alleged” damage to Zimmerman’s head. He said he believed that if someone’s within their right to defend themselves, they shouldn’t be arrested. He said he was aware that there’s a dispute about who is screaming on the 911 audio, but that “I haven’t formed a conclusion.” (link)

Yet this is contradictory to his previous assertions and advocacy against George Zimmerman on social media.

Now lets take a look at Tracy Martin, and Sybrina Fulton’s prepared Media remarks again:

Today on the third day of the jury selection in the Trayvon Martin murder trial we are inspired by the honesty of the potential jurors. Their answers have been forthright and we have faith that the justice system and the members of the public who are selected for the jury will perform their civic duty in a fair and impartial manner.

We’ve been tracking the implausible randomness of the jury notification process.  There are far more black and female potential jurists than the demographics of a “randomly” supported population draw would create.      The current probabilities of a random jury notification are statistically impossible to accept – and the pattern is repeating.   Something, or someone is manipulating the race and ethnicity of the “potential” jury pool.

Jurist “E-7” was outed/identified as a liar and a person who had an agenda to embed himself into the jury.    Why do you think that is so?

Here’s more of his ideology – In addition to hating George Zimmerman, it appears he also hates Jews:

It would not surprise me if E-7 initially thought Zimmerman was Jewish based on his name.

E-7 wasn’t an Obamabot per se’…. No, it’s much worse. E-7 Supported Bernie Sanders for President. His preferred ticket?   Sanders/Kucinich  and then there’s THIS.

Perhaps, as more of this type of activity is exposed, more people will begin to realize how challenging it is for George Zimmerman to receive a fair trial.   In the interim, we’ll do what we can to watch his six and continue to advocate for the TRUTH.
