Ben took Piers by surprise in the previous appearance. Morgan was not expecting an intellectual and direct confrontation. Morgan is used to cowering people with his aggressive bully tactics. Ben turned the table on him and made Morgan look like a jackass. This was round one:
Subsequently ego driven Piers Morgan has invited Shapiro back for round #2. Ben fully expects this to be an ambush interview with Piers throwing his bombs while hiding behind children and victims. Ben Shapiro knows full well “why” Piers is inviting him back….. and Ben is willing to walk into the guantlet once more.

After getting the floor wiped up on him from Shapiro last week and than going out on the repair image tour(Colbert, tweets, etc) coz CNN ratings are lower in the toilet than usual, Morgan is going to try to sandbag Shapiro again. Problem with that aspiration is that Shapiro has the facts on his side which he eloquently presents where Morgan only has his bullish tactics & overblown, ignorant ego.

Shapiro and the Displaced Redcoat had a little Twitter spat yesterday, when Shapiro balked at walking into a circus after Morgan announced that the show would be a “town hall” featuring gun victims. Shapiro (rightly) indicated that he would not participate in Kabuki theater, and the Displaced Redcoat tried to goad him into appearing.
So what changed?
