(Via WFB) More than half of households headed by immigrants in the county illegally, or 62 percent, received welfare benefits in 2012, according to a report released by the Center for Immigration Studies.
In the same time period, 49 percent of households headed by legal immigrants received welfare benefits, while 30 percent of households headed by natives received the same.
The report evaluates data from the Census Bureau and found that illegal immigrant households benefit mostly from food programs like food stamps and Medicaid through their native-born children. (more…)

(Via Daily Mail) Federal investigators targeted top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin last year after they learned that she was paid for time she didn’t work during the former secretary of state’s time in office – but Abedin blamed her husband, the disgraced former Democratic congressman Anthony Weiner.
Abedin, who was Clinton’s deputy chief of staff for four years, explained a series of inappropriate overtime payments, excessive hours, and repeated leaves of absence as the products of Weiner’s poor record-keeping. She was even paid for eight hours work on the day she was in labor. (more…)

This Rolling Stone controversy is a brilliant opportunity to highlight how subtle, yet brutally obvious, presented broadcast media bias can be when combined with ideological opportunism.

Donald Trump said on Thursday the author of the interview, Paul Solotaroff, called to apologize for the way it was edited:

“The writer actually called me and said, ‘I’m so upset, I wrote this great story and [publisher] Jann Wenner screwed it up’ — he told me that,” Trump said on CNN’s “New Day.” “They added a lot of stuff, a lot of garish stuff, that I think is disgusting.” (link)

The author of the article, Solotaroff, appeared on CNN with Anderson Cooper and was questioned about this assertion by Trump.  The author appears to deny the assertion, however if you really listen to his answer, and accept his situation, you recognize there’s validity and affirmation to what Trump is claiming  – you just need to understand the context. Meanwhile the MEDIA onslaught against Trump continues.  Both Salem Media Communications (religious and politically ideological right) and Main Stream Media (anti-religion and politically ideological left) are aligned on behalf of all their collective financial interests to remove the threat to their politically driven power structure.

Liberal logic.

Donald Trump couldn’t ask for better polling results than what became evident today.  In addition to pulling away with a 32% lead, he’s extending his trend to continue pulling away – and Trump is also leading in the second choice category, which means he automatically is carrying reserve fuel to push his polling even higher.  (Full Poll pdf below)

Conversely the numbers for Wall Street, the U.S. CoC and the RNC/GOPe via Jeb Bush are devastating.   Jeb Bush is polling single digits in the 10th consecutive poll – this is completely unsustainable for the GOPe road map, and completely unacceptable for the money groups behind him.  Again, desperation abounds….

UPDATE: Defense argued that Walter Scott got on Slager during a struggle and pummeled him. Attorney Andy Savage said Michael Slager looks forward to clearing his name. Prosecutor Scarlett Wilson, though, said Slager became executioner and planted evidence, lying to make it look like self-defense.
UPDATE: Michael Slager bond hearing is over. No decision by the judge in impassioned, emotional three-hour hearing for Michael Slager, the former North Charleston policeman charged with murder in Walter Scott’s shooting death. (more…)
