The Obama Campaign is saying they are moving the speech due to weather.  However, there is NO risk of bad weather.   They are moving it because they can’t fill the seats.  Period.  And they do not want to be embarassed with thousands of empty seats.

(Via Daily Mail) Democrats have announced that President Barack Obama’s big speech on Thursday night will move from the vast Bank of America stadium to the much-smaller Time Warner indoor arena.

While organisers blamed weather forecasts of lightning, the switch means that Obama has avoided the possibility of having to accept his party’s nomination before a partially-empty stadium. The back story:   The Washington Examiner ran an article describing an attack by Democrats against Republicans where Debbie Wasserman Schultz said:

…..“We know, and I’ve heard no less than Ambassador Michael Oren say this, that what the Republicans are doing is dangerous for Israel.”….

Which drew an immediate reaction from The Israeli Ambassador Oren who was furious that she would make such an attribution to him.    Ambassador Oren vehemently denied making any such comment and flatly said the statement by Ms Wasserman-Schultz was a complete fabrication.

Consequently, Debbie Wasserman Schultz was questioned about this during a Fox TV interview with Shepard Smith.   She claimed, well, just watch the specific denial below in this video:

“With ‘Lets Move!,’ our goal is to end the problem of childhood  obesity in a generation,” Mrs. Obama said. “And while we’ve seen some  very profound cultural shifts, we still have communities that don’t have  access to affordable and healthy foods. Democrats are the political party who demand women stay living their insignificant lives as barefoot housewives subservient to their men folk, albeit while they hide behind divergent false women advocacy; and I CAN PROVE IT (see below fold).

Democrats also kill, physically kill –as in murder– more women than Republicans.   It is true.   They suck them through vacuum tubes and dispose of them in the human biological waste basket.   Some of them, like President Obama, even advocate for severing the spinal cord to kill them during child-birth.   And some, again like President Obama, advocate for killing them if by some miracle they are able to withstand the knife, vacuum tube and scalpel.

These are truths.   They are not disputed by any political ideology.   They are, quite simply, self-evident in the policies supported by President Obama.   Yet somehow, in their sheer rabid and insufferable manipulative lying, Democrats, along with the media, are able to attach the label of anti-women to Republicans.

The media keep selling the same old story,  “this is going to be a close race”.  It is the same narrative they used, without success, in the Wisconsin Recall/Re-election race.  Pffffttt…

President Obama, and more aptly President Obama’s handlers, are formulating the campaign strategy; mixing it up a bit.

The attacks against Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are not gaining the traction they expected.  Conversely the critiques against President Obama are striking a central nerve with the electorate.   In essence Romney is winning public opinion and President Obama is losing.

So the Alexrod, Plouffe, Jarrett  ===> DNC operatives and spinmasters, Wasserman-Schultz, Stephanie Cutter  ===>  Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, strategy is to deflect back to the personable parent model.    President Obama “Daddy”, “Father”, “Husband”, etc.   AND the media is all too happy to sell the dopey wonderous Ward Cleaver imagery all over again.
