WASHINGTON — First lady Michelle Obama’s speech Tuesday evening at a private Democratic National Committee fundraiser was interrupted by a protester, who demanded equality for gays and lesbians.

About 12 minutes into Obama’s 20-minute speech, a woman standing at the front of the crowd began yelling for an executive order on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights.

“One of the things that I don’t do well is this,” replied Obama to loud applause. She left the lectern and approached the protester, inviting the woman to “listen to me, or you can take the mic, but I’m leaving. You all decide. You have one choice.”

The crowd shouted that they wanted Obama to stay, and one woman near the protester said, “You need to go!” (more…)

The Fifth District Court of Appeals has ruled in favor of George Zimmerman and his defense team.   Benjamin Crump must sit for a deposition.

This highly unusual pre-trial intervention reverses the prior ruling of Judge Nelson, and appropriately states the need due to a lack of ability for the Appelate court to quantify the damage caused by allowing discovery to be impeded.   This is a HUGE VICTORY for George Zimmerman, and one that may indeed lead to a delay in trial.  Here’s the link – CLICK HERE  And Here’s the uploaded ruling:

Newly released documents to the House Reform Committee show the claim of two rogue IRS agents targeting conservative from the Cincinnati IRS office is, well, ridiculous.

When/if all investigations are complete this will be more than just the IRS;  This approach will also reconcile the example of Gibson Guitar targeting and many other rabid overreaches of this administration.

(WASHINGTON DC – VIA DAILY MAIL)  Interviews with IRS employees have  established that the Washington, D.C. headquarters of the Internal Revenue  Service was engaged in targeting tea party groups and other conservative  organizations for unfair levels of scrutiny when they applied for tax-exempt  status.

Rep. Darrel lssa, chairman of powerful House  Committee of Oversight and Government Reform, made that startling announcement  on CNN Sunday morning.

‘As late as last week,’ he said, ‘the [Obama]  administration was still trying to say the [IRS targeting scandal] was from a  few rogue agents in Cincinnati, when in fact the indication is that they were  directly being ordered from Washington.’ (more…)

NEW YORK – President Obama made a secret deal to support Hillary Clinton when she runs for president in 2016, campaign sources say, payback for the support her husband gave him in 2012.

Bill Clinton’s animosity toward Obama is legendary.   A year before the last election, he was urging Hillary to challenge the sitting president for the nomination — a move she rejected.

According to two people who attended that meeting in Chappaqua, Bill Clinton then went on a rant against Obama. (more…)

WASHINGTON DC – Valerie Jarrett, a top adviser to President Barack Obama, says she and the rest of the White House remain “very upbeat” despite the series of scandals that have engulfed the Obama administration in recent weeks.

“In any given day, our administration has about 2 million employees, and things happen,” Jarrett tells the Boston Globe. “We put in process procedures to make sure if there has been any wrongdoing, there will be appropriate consequences, and we will move on.”

Jarrett just wants to move on from the scandals. And, she says, the American people want these scandals not to serve as a distraction. (more…)
