I’ll quickly look for links to this breaking story but Fox News Coorespondant Jennifer Griffin is now reporting:   “on the ground annex sources are telling her directly” when SEAL’s Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty disobeyed orders to “stand down” they instead “walked” while under fire to the Consulate compound from the CIA Annex.

They walked there, approximately a half mile, retrieved the consulate employees, and walked them back to the Annex.   Woods and Doherty were not in an armored SUV as previously reported.   They were on Foot and they were taking fire while doing so. (more…)

(From Douglass J Hagman @CFP) According to the U.S. government, Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed during a spontaneous protest at the consulate office in Benghazi by a frenzied crowd of Muslims outraged over an obscure internet video. Recently released “sensitive but not classified e-mails” from Stevens to the U.S. Department of State painted a picture of poor security for U.S. personnel and the embassy, which was obviously true but had little to do with the events of September 11, 2012.

The failure to dispatch an extraction team or otherwise rescue the men during a firefight that lasted upwards of nine grueling and tortuous hours was not the result of any intelligence failure, but caused by our unwillingness to widen the conflict and expose the nature and scale of our true mission in Benghazi. Breaking news on Benghazi: the CIA spokesman, presumably at the direction of CIA director David Petraeus, has put out this statement: “No one at any level in the CIA told anybody not to help those in need; claims to the contrary are simply inaccurate. ”

So who in the government did tell “anybody” not to help those in need? Someone decided not to send in military assets to help those Agency operators. Would the secretary of defense make such a decision on his own? No.

It would have been a presidential decision. There was presumably a rationale for such a decision. What was it? When and why—and based on whose counsel obtained in what meetings or conversations—did President Obama decide against sending in military assets to help the Americans in need? (read more)

You see, when you read a report of the CIA operative on the ground, holding a GLD, saying “the enemy is lit” it can only mean one thing. From the CIA leak to Fox:

Folks, now that this report is coming out, I’m going to let you in on a secret…  “It’s Worse – Much Worse”.    We have direct and reliable information that not only were the CIA operatives in the Annex told to “stand down” when they wanted to assist the consulate (which is semi-explainable given the nature of the compound objective they were guarding), but the Quick Reaction Force [Delta Force] was directed to secure the assets at the Annex and NOT the consulate.   Why?   Because the “content” and “asset risk” within the Annex was considered to be more *valuable* than the assets at the consulate.

The consulate “assets” were people.

TREASONOUS BASTARDS – Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that an  urgent request from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the  U.S. consulate and subsequent attack several hours later on the annex itself was  denied by the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators twice to  “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at  approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Former Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods was part of a small team who was at the CIA  annex about a mile from the U.S. consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and  his team came under attack. When he and others heard the shots fired, they  informed their higher-ups at the annex to tell them what they were hearing and  requested permission to go to the consulate and help out. Understanding the Origin of The Muhammed Movie Narrative and How it was used…

On September 11th 2011 a protest took place outside the U.S. embassy in Cairo, Egypt.   The protest was organized by Mohammed Al Zawahiri (brother of al-Qaeda’s top leader Ayman Al Zawahiri – Afghanistan) calling for the release of Omar Abdel-Rahman (The Blind Sheik) from prison in Gitmo.

This was not unexpected, not at all.   Actually as far back as May 2011 we first outlined the Egyptian demand for his release:

CAIRO (Reuters 4/12/2011) – Hundreds of supporters of a radical Muslim Egyptian cleric called on the United States to release him in a rare public demonstration by Islamists who have become more vocal since President Hosni Mubarak was ousted.

About 400 protesters, most of whom said they belonged to the militant al-Gama’a al-Islamiya group, gathered near the heavily fortified U.S. embassy in downtown Cairo to demand freedom for their spiritual leader Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman.  (article)  *Note this is 2011

(ViaIPT)  [May 2011] The Egyptian government reportedly has asked the United States to release the Blind Sheikh, Omar Abdel-Rahman, and send him back to Egypt, according to the Open Source Center, a government clearinghouse of publicly available foreign intelligence.  Abdel-Rahman is the former spiritual leader of the Egyptian terrorist organization, Gama’a al-Islamiyya. He is considered the spiritual inspiration behind the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and is serving a life sentence in connection with a subsequent plot to bomb New York landmarks and tunnels. Last night on CNN Erin Burnett’s show “Out Front” had General Wesley Clark, Obama Foreign Policy propaganda spokesperson, and Jason Chaffetz, to discuss the Benghazi attack and the new State Dept e-mails.

Watch Clark try to defend the indefensible, avoid the unavoidable, and brazenly flat out lie to protect the administration.

Watch the angst he faces. What you note is a person who is ideologically conflicted. Paid to sell a specific narrative, yet he knows that his peers are watching him knowing that all he proclaims is pure propaganda. It is an interesting dynamic.
