Must Watch Prog Splodey Head Video:
[via WeaselZippers] In one corner we have Ted Cruz, a brilliant Harvard educated Constitutional lawyer who has authored more than 80 Supreme Court briefs and presented more than 40 oral arguments, including nine before the Supreme Court itself, he also served as law clerk for Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist. In the other we have Dianne Feinstein, who has been in the Senate for decades and could fit her knowledge of the Constitution on the tip of a pin.
At this point it may be important to remember Senator Feinstein recently used a written prepared statement to claim it is “legal to hunt humans“. Listening to her response to Ted Cruz reminded me of another Democrat From California Senatorial retort: (more…)
Now it’s off to the floor……. we’ll see.
WASHINGTON DC – The Senate Judiciary Committee has approved a hugely controversial ban on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips, but the measure faces nearly certain defeat on the Senate floor.
The proposal, authored by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), bans 157 different models of assault weapons, as well as magazines containing more than 10 bullets.
The vote was 10 to 8, with all Democrats supporting it and all Republicans opposed. (more…)
This probably, no… wait, check that,… This IS the most reflective example of Prog-logic twisted into Obamacare-like contortions to conflate an argument. Just like Nancy Pelosi’s “we have to pass the bill to see what is in it” comment. This comment that “It’s legal to hunt humans” by Dianne Feinstein shows, quite clearly, how logic is dispatched by the prog mind to shape ideology.
Let this sink in:
…”it’s legal to hunt humans”…
Deep Breath – Watch it again…… “it’s legal to hunt humans”
Really?
There is not a penguin big enough.
Maryland schools may have dispatched counselers to evaluate the psychological damage from a child nibbling a Pop-Tart into the shape of a gun, but Michigan goes one step further when cupcakes adorned with toy soldiers show up.
MICHIGAN – A Michigan elementary school is defending its decision to confiscate a third-graders batch of homemade cupcakes because the birthday treats were decorated with plastic green Army soldiers.

Casey Fountain told Fox News that the principal of his son’s elementary school called the cupcakes “insensitive” — in light of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut.
“It disgusted me,” he said. “It’s vile they lump true American heroes with psychopathic killers.”
Fountain’s wife made a batch of 30 chocolate cupcakes for their son Hunter’s classmates at Schall Elementary School in the town of Caro. The 9-year-old helped decorate the treats with plastic figurines representing World War Two soldiers. (more…)
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — There is no doubt who is responsible for the Newtown school massacre. The shooter is dead and the prosecutor handling the case has said he does not expect any charges.
Yet authorities are continuing to keep search warrants and police records secret. Media outlets have pressed for the release of more records, which could shed light on a crime that has revived the national debate over gun control and could change the way guns are regulated.
The massacre has led to proposals for universal background checks on gun buyers and bans on assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition magazines. It also prompted reviews of school security and mental health care and led to proposed legislation in Connecticut that would forbid arcades and other establishments from allowing children under 18 to play point-and-shoot video games. …and to think; People thought this poster was hyperbole.

Summary: No we haven’t done it, but we could, and if needed – we might.
Is it just me, or does Mr. bank Robber appear to wear a monkey mask?
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A toy gun was the weapon a 34-year-old man used last week to try to rob a bank in Trimble, Mo., according to investigators.

But the bank worker who shot him in the face didn’t know that when he stepped in to try to protect a female teller crawling on the ground.
The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri announced Monday that Michael Oliva was charged in federal court in connection to the attempted bank robbery and leading law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase. (more…)
