(Via GWP) It’s no secret that Egyptian slavery is as old as the pyramids.  It’s also common knowledge that Barack Obama’s ancestors owned slaves.

So it’s really no surprise that he helped usher in a radical Egpytian regime that is restoring slavery. According to the AP Egypt’s new constitution has dropped its ban on slavery:

Omissions of certain articles, such as bans on slavery or promises to adhere to international rights treaties, were equally worrying to critics of the new draft, who pulled out from the panel before the vote.

Listen closely to how the media and the administration are talking about Medicare “overall”.   Listen to them begin to talk about how structurally flawed it is – not just financially, but in substantive structure.

Creeping control.  Listen.

Listen to them, the administration and the media, describe the fraud that exists within the Medicare program.  Listen to the specific word choices.

Listen as they describe the feasibility of cutting the cost of Medicare by addressing the payment side (reimbursement) of the equation, and how they will NOT have to increase payments into the program.   Listen to how they maintain the premise that Medicare Program is structurally sound – it just needs “tweaking”, and they can cut the “overall” cost of the medicare program without hitting the beneficiaries up for increased contribution rates or structural changes to the program.

$18.7 Trillion deficit (ceiling raised goal +2.5 Trillion) and they can simultaneously “save” the Medicare program.   That’s what they’ll sell.   Watch and listen closely while understanding the following: (more…)

WASHINGTON D.C. – Sorry, college students. President Obama has cut your access to Pell Grants by 33%; he just forgot to mention it before Election Day.

During the recent campaign, President Obama claimed credit for increasing funding to the Pell Grant program, which provides college funds, free from repayment, to millions of students. However, an email sent out Tuesday to some Dallas college students is revealing a detail the President forgot to mention: the time a student can receive a Pell Grant has been cut, by as much as three years. With Pell Grants for the fall semester now dispersed, colleges are informing students of their options, bringing the cuts to light. (more…)

“The President has said many times that the American people are demanding action,” White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer told The Huffington Post. “They want to see progress, not partisan delay games. That hasn’t changed, and the President supports Senator Reid’s efforts to reform the filibuster process.” (more…)

BOSTON – A painting that features President Obama posed as Jesus Christ crucified on a cross is on display at a community college art gallery in Boston.

The painting by Michael D’Antuono is part of a larger exhibit called “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” It’s on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery until Dec. 15^th.

The painting is called “Truth” – and shows the president on the cross with his arms outstretched. A crown of thorns rests on his head. (more…)

(Trevor Loudon’s NewZeal Blog) The Washington Post has been greatly embarrassed by the fact that its local editor Vernon Loeb was the ghost writer for the David Petraeus biography by Paula Broadwell and admits he was “clueless” about their sexual relationship. The paper is now making up for lost time.

On Thursday, the Post published an article that debunked claims by Petraeus, who was Obama’s CIA director, that he had never given Broadwell classified information. The story by Carol D. Leonnig, Sari Horwitz and Anne Gearan reveals that Petraeus aides and other high-ranking military officials were often tasked by Petraeus and other top commanders to provide sensitive military documents to Broadwell. (AP) — Egypt’s President Mohammed Morsi issued decrees giving himself broad powers and effectively neutering the judiciary. Morsi, an Islamist hailing from the Muslim Brotherhood, defends the step as necessary to clear obstacles holding up Egypt’s transition, particularly from judges who could have disbanded a controversial assembly writing the constitution or overturned his decisions. Critics say Morsi, who already holds both executive and legislative powers, is setting himself up as a new dictator.

Here is a look at the main points of his decrees:

– All laws and decisions by the president are final, cannot be appealed, overturned or halted by the courts or other bodies. This applies to decisions he has made since taking office in June and any he makes until a new constitution is approved and a new parliament is elected, expected in the spring at the earliest.
