Just as the Trayvon Martin narrative unfolded, as independent bloggers and researchers enthusiastically scour social media a truer, more complete picture of Michael Brown emerges as Sharpton remains on site in an attempt to manage and direct the “narrative”.
Although earning praise from local authorities for his “official” calls for “peace”, Sharpton’s ability to manage the narrative has been called into question by by black and white observers keeping tabs on the ever evolving and fluid situation from outside of the area of conflict.

A guest on the Michael Dyson show (a director of “Africana studies” at Lehigh University), calls the rioting “understandable” and a “red herring”.

The real issue underpinning the Brown shooting is the failure of the “system” and police officers, specifically….

“They can handle the riot and stop the riot and control the riot,” he said dismissively. “But the real question is can we get our criminal justice system, can we get our police departments, to acknowledge the humanity of black and brown folks?”

He goes on to state the police “abused” their power and “terrorized” the community for “hours”.

Of course, the people in those communities are not responsible for the irresponsible choices they make.  Oh noes.

Of course, since this is the end game – handcuffing the responses of any law enforcement officer when dealing with a black suspect – it now makes more sense why Sharpton has taken the lead on this and Crumpster is a player in the background.  This is much bigger fish than simply overturning “Stand Your Own”.  (Read more...)

Meanwhile on vacation President Obama stopped short of calling Michael Brown his son, but he did deliver a Presidential Statement on the events:
“The death of Michael Brown is heartbreaking, and Michelle and I send our deepest condolences to his family and his community at this very difficult time.
As Attorney General Holder has indicated, the Department of Justice is investigating the situation along with local officials, and they will continue to direct resources to the case as needed.
I know the events of the past few days have prompted strong passions, but as details unfold, I urge everyone in Ferguson, Missouri, and across the country, to remember this young man through reflection and understanding. We should comfort each other and talk with one another in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds. Along with our prayers, that’s what Michael and his family, and our broader American community, deserve.  ~ President Barack Obama 8/12/14

Update:  NBPP rally over, crowd dispersed, NOTAMS lifted, County Police now feel the situation is more secure.
Daily Caller reports the PD requested the NOTAMS after shots were fired at a county chopper.

The leftist media are a parody unto themselves when it comes to exploiting any opportunity for racial viewership.   Ronan Farrow is the modern cultural icon for a couldn’t-be-more-white pundit to espouse his street thug credibility.  He knows him some racism.

Liberalism is fundamentally comical when witnessed.  These Farrow-types are the same people who railed against a cheerleader/hunter pictured with a dead lion in Africa – Yet oddly lose their voice when confronted with seven-year-old ISIL jihadist pictured proudly holding a severed human head.

During a Monday afternoon segment discussing the police shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, guest Jonathan Capehart suggested that black men have to go extra lengths to ensure their safety in public.

“Don’t run in public,” he said. “Don’t run with anything in your hands. Keep a discreet distance away from white women, lest you get accused of any number of things.” His larger point being that a black male looking and talking a certain way in public could lead to unwanted assumptions or trouble, more so than any other race. North Carolina – Outraged viewers reached out to Eyewitness News about a Facebook video they said showed three young people attacking and robbing an ice cream man in Northeast Charlotte.
A girl opens an ice cream cart in the beginning of the video.  The ice cream man closes it and soon the girl and other young people begin hitting the man over and over.

“It seems like he’s not trying to fight back initially, like he just wants to be left alone, and that’s the thing — you can’t even be left alone,” said Manuel Fuentes. (more…)

It’s called “Cracka-Smacks” – A tongue in cheek urban dictionary lexicon combining the euphemism for white, “Cracker”, and the style of attack, “Smacks”.   It also catches the lingo of a popular urban cereal, Sugar Smacks.

The difference between “Cracka-Smacking” and the “knock out assaults” is one of intent, not subtlety.   In Knock Out Assaults the goal is to punch the victim unconscious, preferably in one shot.   In Cracka-Smacks the goal is merely to smack the non-black, or to beat them.    Both approaches are used when “Polar Bear Hunting” (ie. patrolling for a white, or at least non-black, victim to attack).

For credibility, humor and enjoyment, the racial attacks are often recorded and up-loaded to social media so the black attacker can share their success with other like-minded cohorts.   WATCH THIS VIDEO:
