On what basis could this man possibly think in a free society there would be any legal grounds for action against a movie maker.  Oh yeah, wait, the Muslim Brotherhood knows nothing about “free society”….. nevermind.    And I’ll betcha he ain’t got issues with the movies belittling Christianity……  ya’ think?

(Reuters) — Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi asked the Egyptian embassy in Washington to take legal action in the United States against makers of a film attacking the Muslim Prophet Mohammad, the official state news agency said on Wednesday.

Morsi had requested the mission take “all legal measures”, the MENA agency said, without giving further details on what that might involve.  (read more)

CONFIRMED !

According to Reuters the US Ambassador to Libya, J Christopher Stevens, has been assassinated along with 3 staffers in an apparent rocket attack against United States Officials in Libya.

(Reuters) – The U.S. ambassador to Libya [J Christopher Stevens] and three other embassy staff were killed in a rocket attack on Tuesday night that targeted his car in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, a Libyan official said on Wednesday.

“The American ambassador and three staff members were killed when gunmen fired rockets at them,” the official in Benghazi told Reuters. Asked about the deaths, a U.S. Embassy employee in Tripoli said: “We have no information regarding this.” The employee said the embassy could confirm the death of one person.

The Libyan official said the U.S. ambassador had been on his way to a safer venue after protesters attacked the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi and opened fire, killing a staff member, in protest at a U.S. film that they deemed blasphemous to the Prophet Mohammad.

The official said the ambassador and three other staff were killed when gunmen fired rockets at his car. He said the U.S. Embassy had sent a military plane to transport the bodies to Tripoli to fly them to the United States.

Gunmen assaulted the Benghazi compound on Tuesday evening, clashing with Libyan security forces, who withdrew under heavy fire. The attackers fired at the buildings while others threw handmade bombs into the compound, setting off small explosions. Small fires were burning around the compound. (more…)

Could there be  a more visible example of the insufferable ineptitude of President Barack Obama.    In the same city, Cairo – Egypt, where President Obama delivered his first international “big stage” apology speech, the U.S. Embassy comes under attack.   One embassy official killed, the US compound compromised, the Stars and Stripes torn to shreds and the flag of al-Qaeda hoisted in triumphant declaration.

Of course the legacy media call the al-Qaeda flag an “islamic symbol”, instead of just telling the truth.   (Coincidently, the same flag hoisted ceremoniously atop the courthouse in Benghazi Libya, once we helped “the rebels”, aka: al-Qaeda, kill Kadaffi).

What does the US State Department do?  Why apologize to the radical Islamists of course.

Then the White House retracts the apology….  Then the State Department reiterates the apology the White House just retracted.   Go Figure…. well, maybe not, actually just more visible Obambulation. (more…)

We originally posted the story of Pastor Nardarkhani over a year ago.  It has been a while since we were able to update the status of Pastor Youcef.  Good news GREAT NEWS comes today…..  FREEDOM !!  What an amazing testimony to faith…

Hat Tip WeeWeed (Fox News) Iranian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, who was originally sentenced to death in  his native country for his Christian faith, was acquitted of apostasy charges  and released from custody.

Nadarkhani, 32, was imprisoned for three years and waiting execution for  refusing to renounce his Christian faith. His charges were lowered to  evangelizing to Muslims, which carried a three-year sentence. He was released  with time served, according to the American Center for Law and Justice, a  Washington-based watchdog group that had been campaigning for the pastor’s  release.

“Today our sources in Iran reported that Pastor Youcef was acquitted of  apostasy and released from prison. After languishing in prison for almost three  years, he has been reunited with his family,” Jordan Sekulow, executive director  of ACLJ said in a statement to FoxNews.com. (more…)

The vast majority of Democrats are furious that Cardinal Dolan was allowed to pray at their convention.   They are furious.    Following on the heels of forced acceptance of God and religion in their party platform, and on the heels of a forced/manipulated floor vote to falsify acceptance of Israel and Jerusalem,  the base of the Democrat party is rabid with anger.

Allowing Cardinal Dolan to pray for the unborn, and pray for a pro-life/pro-family message was just too much.  His prayer became the straw that broke the camel’s back. The base of the Democrat party is in uproar:

Since leaving office George W Bush has maintained a low profile, but I’ve got to give him a lot of credit because despite that low profile he has done a tremendous amount of good work for returning servicemen and women.

Both George and Laura Bush truly hold a servant’s heart and their actions speak volumes toward their character and genuine care for wounded warriors.   Most of what they do flies intentionally under the media radar.  That is the way they want it; and boy howdy does it make a difference in the lives of those they serve: (more…)
