New York – Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave the most substantive speech of her nascent presidential campaign so far on Wednesday.
In her address at Columbia University, Clinton called for a major overhaul in the US criminal justice system. She repeatedly lambasted “the mass incarceration that we currently practice” and overly punitive, “arbitrary” criminal statutes, which she said result in racial discrimination.
“There is something profoundly wrong when African-American men are still far more likely to be stopped and searched by police, charged with crimes, and sentenced to longer prison terms than are meted out to their white counterparts. There is something wrong when a third of all black men face the prospect of prison during their lifetimes,” Clinton said. “We have allowed our criminal justice system to get out of balance and these recent tragedies should galvanize us to come together as a nation to find our balance again.”

Someone needs to tell the protestors in Ferguson Missouri that this is not a competition for who can protest most violently. 
Last night in Ferguson one man was shot in the familiar West Florissant strip that was the scene of protests throughout the fall and winter.  The police disbursed the crowd only to face additional gunfire an hour later in the Canfield Greens neighborhood.

At 12:15 a.m.: Report of shots fired and at least one victim on Windward Court. The street which runs through an area with several apartment complexes, including Canfield Green.
Several of the protesters had retreated to this area after police ordered them to disperse from West Florissant Avenue. (more…)

Currently it is being reported the investigation into Freddie Gray’s death will be complete by Friday. However, the same media reports are saying the results will not be made immediately public. This is odd considering the surrounding ideology of Baltimore which would be highly favorable to a finding of wrongdoing by the police.
If the investigation revealed police wrongdoing there is nothing in the Baltimore political apparatus which would keep it hidden from public. Ergo, there’s a possibility any report would contain exculpatory information beneficial to the police.
Which brings us to a potential game changing discovery showing up in some social media about Freddie Gray having spinal surgery shortly before the events outlined within the controversial encounter. It must be noted however, that none of this is factually confirmed and we should research further.
The story is in essence:

“Freddie Gray had a pre-existing spinal and neck injury [from a car accident] and had severe damage and scar tissue from an accident that Allstate insurance was paying via a large structured settlement.
Freddie had several unsuccessful spinal fusion surgeries, and his most recent spinal/cervical operation was a week and a half before he was arrested.  Freddie should have been at home in bed resting and recovering from this recent major operation.
If you look on Howard County Civil Court records you will find a case whereby Freddie Gray Jr. was trying to cash in his monthly structured Allstate settlement into a lump sum payout through Peachtree funding”.

A Potemkin Village is a best described as: “an impressive façade or show designed to hide an undesirable fact or condition“.
The media narrative surrounding the Baltimore Riots is one such construct.
These undesirable facts and conditions the progressives desperately need to avoid are  being brutally spotlighted in Baltimore Maryland. A cultural petri dish of necessary avoidance to hide the reality of progressive racial failure.

One easy to identify example of their efforts therein has recently surfaced.  It surrounds the media’s desperate desire to hide the violence within Baltimore.

The staff of the City Paper of Baltimore was challenged in their reporting. City Paper editors and writers framing the rioting masses as “peaceful protestors“, while the public at large sees “violent antagonists“.

Today President Obama addressed the state of emergency in Baltimore Maryland, calling the violent reactions “counter-productive.”

As Baltimore Burns the media begins the blame game. Last night pressing the Maryland Governor on why it took so long for the Maryland National Guard to be activated Governor Larry Hogan cuts right to the chase: “Within 30 seconds of receiving the call, I activated the National Guard”.
The delay stems from Baltimore Mayor Rawlings-Blake refusing to ask for assistance, and refusing to return phone calls from the Governors office. Start watching the video at 09:00 to see delivery:

Governor Hogan is a Republican, Mayor Rawlings is a far-left liberal Democrat.
After Governor Hogan arrived in Baltimore, CNN pundit Don Lemon tried to pin the blame on him in an effort to protect the more liberal Mayor Rawlings from her own ineptitude. Again Governor Hogan was having none of it. (more…)

There’s a really weird bit of discussion beginning in the media about the Baltimore Riots being pre-planned and organized. It’s almost as if they are trying to create the appearance of some weird kind of conspiracy theory.

Apparently many people were shocked by the riots; as if unexpected or something.
To believe it was a spontaneous uprising is actually silly.  There was a plan put in place on social media on Sunday.  However, it’s not some grand conspiracy – just a common social media plan shared quickly and executed as scheduled.

The media continue to ask the question of why the police in Baltimore are not doing more to stop the violence and rioting throughout Baltimore. The answer is quite simple. Baltimore has been the bastion of political correctness and wilful blindness toward race-based violence for several years. Officials cannot now expose something they have tried to hide for almost a decade.

The City of Baltimore is comprised almost entirely of black leadership. The Mayor is black, the police Chief is black, almost the entire city council is black, the law enforcement community is mostly black – yet the rioting masses continue to say they are oppressed. White Homeowners around the Baltimore community are now subject to home invasions by mobs of blacks seeking reparations.
8:15pm Looting continues throughout Baltimore neighborhoods.  In an effort to protect their businesses from looting the community is putting up signs to notify the intended looters of which businesses are white and which are black owned. Apparently this is to direct the rioting mob toward targeting only the non-blacks.
