White House Connection To Fast And Furious – Dennis Burke ?

It all seems to come together now – Obama Contributor, Who Helped Enact Assault-Weapons Ban, Ran ‘Fast and Furious’…
(CNSNews.com) — Dennis K. Burke, who as a lawyer for the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee in the 1990s was a key player behind the enactment of the 1994 assault-weapons ban, and who then went on to become Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano’s chief of staff, and contributor to Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential primary campaign, and a member of Obama’s transition team focusing on immigration issues, ended up in the Obama administration as the U.S. attorney in Arizona responsible for overseeing Operation Fast and Furious.

When Obama nominated Burke to be U.S. Attorney for the District of Arizona, Burke told the Arizona Capitol Times he believed he understood what the president and his attorney general wanted him to do. (more…)

Color Of Skin – Not Content Of Character – It's An ObamaNation

WASHINGTON – Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) on Thursday blasted his fellow members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) for staging a walkout on a contempt vote by the House against Attorney General Eric Holder.
Today the Congressional Black Caucus and other liberal Members of Congress judged the Attorney General by the color of his skin, and not by the content of his character,” he wrote on his Facebook page. “I am disappointed my colleagues would rather engage in a political stunt to distract the American people from knowing the truth behind the Attorney General’s disregard of the law and disrespect of congressional oversight to provide requested documents.”
The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee last week moved to hold Holder in contempt, charging he had not cooperated fully with the committee’s investigation into the controversial gun-tracking operation known as “Fast and Furious.” The full House voted 255-67 on Thursday to hold Holder in contempt, but House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and many other Democrats joined the (CBC) in staging a walkout during the vote. Update: Contempt Vote Affirmative – Historic "Eric Withholder" Contempt Vote

Criminal Contempt of Congress measure passed 255-67, with one member voting “present.” Seventeen of the Democrats who didn’t walk out voted with the Republican majority to hold Holder in contempt of Congress.   Two Republicans, Reps. Steven LaTourette of Ohio and Scott Rigell of Virginia, opposed the resolution.
Civil Contempt of Congress measure also passed 259-63

A Solid 10 minute good watch

I cannot stand to watch or listen to Bill Maher. The man knows literally nothing about the topics he discusses on his show, yet he pontificates opinion to a reflective audience of mindless sheeple. He is, quite simply, an intellectual gnat, and there is no amount of money in the world that could convince me to watch his show.
That said, Nick Gillespie, presents the Obotic drones Maher and Rachel Maddow with an intellectual deconstruction that shows how miniscule their intellectual capacity is. Simultaneously, Nick pulls out, for the world to see, the insufferable, illogical and closed-minded political partisanship of the Maddow/Maher cult-like believers. It really is a good watch.

White House Tries To Obfuscate "Contempt Vote" Saying Most Americans Don't Care About Fast and Furious…

Millions of Americans and the Brian Terry family beg to differ…..  Insufferable.   This is the exact same mindset that stated the “people” did not care about the “process” in manipulating Obamacare into law by any means possible.
Rules matter, jerk.   We are a nation of Laws – NOT OF MEN !
WASHINGTON – President Obama’s spokesman urged House Republicans on Wednesday to cancel a planned vote to hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in contempt of Congress, saying most Americans don’t care about the separation-of-powers struggle.
“We hope Republicans change their minds as to what the right course of action is,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney, adding that lawmakers should be focused instead on boosting the economy. “I cannot imagine this will sit well with most Americans.”
But Mr. Carney said the White House was under no illusions about the Republicans’ plans, and administration officials expect the House vote against Mr. Holder to proceed. (more…)

Talks Fail – Contempt of Congress Vote To Proceed

Eric Holder and House GOP members failed to reach an agreement.    Holdup’s attempted blackmail failed.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Obama administration officials and House Republican staff members have met but failed to resolve a document dispute that could lead to a precedent-setting contempt of Congress vote Thursday against Attorney General Eric Holder.

A House Republican official, not authorized to be quoted by name, said Tuesday that White House and Justice Department representatives showed the GOP staff 30 documents related to the botched Fast and Furious gun-tracking operation. (more…)

Follow The Ideology…

President Obama personally inserted himself into the Fast & Furious gun walking scandal after he extended executive privilege over certain DOJ documentation. Was the Fast & Furious a botched scandal, or a deliberate effort to undermine the Second Amendment? Find out as Bill Whittle explores the ideological motives behind the Fast & Furious scandal.

PROOF…That Jay Carney Is A Fast & Furious Liar!

The Right Scoop just *updated* their blog with this comment:  “I think I blew it with this one. The tactic referred to by Carney in his press conference yesterday and referenced in my video below is gun-walking, not gun-running. I mistakenly conflated the two of them. Gun-Walking to be clear is the weapons we allowed into Mexico that were never traced – the 2k weapons that turned up into the hands of the Cartel, one of which was used in Brian Terry’s death.
In the video below they are referring to gun-running which did start under the Bush admin. Now both you and I know that the announcement in March 2009 was likely the beginning of Fast and Furious under the guise of Project GunRunner. But the video below doesn’t prove that and thus I have deleted it.
The only question that remains in my mind, and it’s a big one, is how in the world can Jay Carney and the White House say gun-walking started under the Bush administration without supplying proof that it did? No, we all know it didn’t start under the Bush administration or else they’d release the documents and vindicate themselves.  In any event, I’ll try harder to not conflate these two in the future.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The fact that this insufferable little crapweasel took the podium yesterday and continued to lie to our faces is beyond belief.  How…let me repeat….how can he continue to assert Holder put an end to something Holder himself says he didn’t even know about?  We’ve gotten to the point with this administration where the spoken word means absolutely nothing.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney maintained several times yesterday that gun-running was not generated out of Washington DC and when A.G. Eric Holder found out about the tactic of gun-running, he stopped it. But this is simply not true. Deputy Attorney General David Ogden at a news conference in March of 2009 clearly associates A.G. Holder and the Obama administration with the tactic of gun-running:
