People are having difficulty trying to figure out why I’m supporting Donald Trump with such severity.  So let me explain.

I’ve already explained the specifics of what is ahead and how ONLY JEB BUSH will win the primary in – PART ONE – “The Tripwires”.  And I’ve expanded it for further explanation – HERE – and –HERE.
Regardless of how much you support a “NON-JEB” if you, as a conservative, vote for Walker, Perry, Cruz, Jindal, Rubio et al you will get JEB BUSH out of the GOPe machine.
Expecting a different outcome is like standing at that soda machine that gives you diet ginger ale regardless of which button you push.
Just because the buttons say: Coke, Root Beer, Fanta, Sprite etc. doesn’t mean the slots inside the machine (which you can’t see) are loaded with anything other than diet ginger ale, or Jeb Bush.
Putting your money in the same GOP machine over and over, only leaves you standing there with elevently cans of diet ginger ale;  the eleventy-first push of the button delivers yet another Jeb Bush.
Stop being a co-dependent, and don’t worry about walking to a different, perhaps unfamiliar, vending machine.  Also, don’t worry about expressing an opinion that you don’t trust Trump; or Trump doesn’t pass your litmus test of (fill in the blank).  Neither are the issue. (more…)

When Donald Trump announced his candidacy there was one thing most important to do.  When Trump began blowing his competition out of the water, there was one important thing to do.  When Trump, essentially the risk that Trump represents, is attacked by the political left and political right, that thing remains.
The transparency within the promoted media attacks both direct (another and another) and indirect, are aimed to do the same thing, remove support.   How? By using the exact same strategy, instill fear.
FEAR IS USED AS A WEAPON.  Fear is the most effective and dangerous of weapons. When fear is deployed, it is critically important to #1) identify it, and #2) see through the motivations of its deployment.
When you understand this, I mean really understand this, you are able to see the obvious deployment of strategies intended to instill fear.
The Washington Post article today, about Bill Clinton talking to Donald Trump prior to Trump’s announcement, is directly targeted to do this – make the base fearful of what they don’t know.  This will be the Chris Wallace angle.

Apparently the media are running out of thesaurus reference words to obfuscate the illegality of using non-secure private data servers to conduct official State Department business.  Not to worry, they’ll soon come up with new Clinton deflector words. 
WASHINGTON POST – The FBI has begun looking into the security of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private e-mail setup, contacting in the past week a Denver-based technology firm that helped manage the unusual system, according to two government officials.
Also last week, the FBI contacted Clinton’s lawyer, David Ken­dall, with questions about the security of a thumb drive in his possession that contains copies of work e-mails Clinton sent during her time as secretary of state.
The FBI’s interest in Clinton’s e-mail system comes after the intelligence community’s inspector general referred the issue to the Justice Department in July. Intelligence officials expressed concern that some sensitive information was not in the government’s possession and could be “compromised.” The referral did not accuse Clinton of any wrongdoing, and the two officials said Tuesday that the FBI is not targeting her. Donald Trump previously said: “I will win the Hispanic vote in this election“.
Guess what?  He’s right.

In a Public Policy Polling survey, Trump leads with 34% of Hispanic voters, surpassing Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.   What makes this poll even more delicious, is that it had to be reported on Univision:

ROGELIO MORA TAGLE, CORRESPONDENT: And it’s that upon launching his campaign, Trump said among other things that the people who emigrate from Mexico bring to the United States drugs, crime and are rapists. Those comments, for 55% of those polled, are insulting and racist, and out of place in a presidential campaign.

Fox News has announced their debate line-up.  Using their selected “polling” data, they have ranked the candidates and announced the “Top Ten” (Tier One) who will have a prime-time debate 9pm to 11pm on Thursday August 6th.  A second tier (bottom ranked 7) who will have a 5pm to 7pm with a smaller debate presence.

(Via ABC News) Donald Trump has turned the tables on Gawker. After the online site released one of Donald Trump’s cellphone numbers, the GOP presidential candidate changed his voicemail this morning.

Here’s the full video of the New Hampshire GOP Candidate Forum.  The event was held at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH.  The candidates appeared one at a time, answering questions determined by the editors of the Union Leader based on the topics suggested by the public:

Notes and Shortcuts – Yes, I watched all 2+ hours.

In essence the format was a little odd with candidates coming up to the stage for prepared questions. However, beyond the format, a basic flaw were the questions themselves.

The questions were specifically targeted soft ball pitches for each of the candidates strengths. Every question asked was a question you have formerly heard them answer. I am left with the impression this was not accidental.

With a much larger polling sample, the national trend continues. In addition the favorability numbers for Donald Trump have increased substantially, and the disapproval numbers have greatly diminished. Only one candidate, Marco Rubio, holds higher favorability numbers.
