Corey Lewandowski built the platform, refined the vehicle, entered the race, and led the successful insurgent campaign for every single lap…. Now Manafort plays the role of a nitrous tank to blast through to the general election finish line.
(Via ABC News) Donald Trump will change the role for one of his campaign’s top advisors, ABC News has learned.
Sources within the campaign said that Trump will name Paul Manafort to the new role of Campaign Chairman and Chief Strategist.
Manafort, who was brought on board early last month as a convention manager, was originally tasked with trying to secure Trump the necessary delegates to avoid a fight at the Republican convention.

A new Rasmussen Poll (Data Link Here) of 1,000 national “likely voters” shows candidate Donald Trump with a 5 point lead over Hillary Clinton, 42 / 37.

This poll is significant when combined with the recent NBC/Survey Monkey and Fox News polls. Rasmussen is a very reliable polling outfit, and you’ll note they use the most accurate methodology for a national general electorate sample via “Likely Voters”. Likely voters are more apt to catch the Monster Vote. (more…)

Apparently the broadcast premier of Megyn Kelly, containing the interview with Donald Trump, was a major flop gathering only 4.7 Million viewers and coming in last place amid 8:00pm broadcast TV watchers. –Article Here–
This is probably no surprise to those who have followed the slow downward spiral of Fox News, and specifically Megyn Kelly, since the news executives made the business decision to oppose candidate Donald Trump.
It was not an altruistic endeavor when Megyn Kelly walked into Trump Tower last month and requested the interview.
Kelly and Trump had been locked in a battle since August of 2015, a full eight months (<—remember that number). Her visit was only two days after the public information came out of Fox News poor financial results, and Rupert Murdoch’s severe loss in capital amid all his various enterprises.
One of the Murdoch holdings to take a hit was Harper Collins Books. Harper Collins is the entity who gave Kelly a massive advance of $10 million for her exclusive book (pictured above left). Yeah, the virus of failure was headed toward the executives of Harper Collins and they needed something to calm their nerves, toot sweet.

An article today in the Washington Post outlines meetings with anxiety-riddled Pennsylvania Democrat party leaders who are increasingly apoplectic as they see a state-wide electorate supporting Donald Trump, specifically in areas where Republicans should not be winning support.

The Pennsylvania outline shows a broad-based appeal for common sense conservative approach of Donald Trump among regions of the Philadelphia suburbs which previously supported Barack Obama.
Post author David Weigel walks through the towns where Donald Trump has garnered unexpected support. What he writes about, is what we have all discussed, the emergence of the Monster Voters – although neither Weigel, nor the Democrat leaders he interviews, are aware of who these Monster Voters are, the silent common sense conservatives.
There is much hand-wringing and angst amid the leadership who are holding meetings trying to figure out why their neighbors are supporting Trump.
And there, right in the center of the WaPo article you find this quote from former Philadelphia Mayor, and Pennsylvania Governor, Ed Rendell: (more…)
