President Obama is visiting Vietnam today and paused for a picture with communist party President Tran Dai Quang in front of a bust of Ho Chi Minh.
Perhaps it’s just me, but given the nature of the diplomatic relationship this specific optic seems rather inappropriate.

This portends rather nicely:
… […] “Republicans have been accused in the past, and some degree rightfully so, of not tearing the bark off of our opponents and this year Donald Trump has made it very clear we are going to be aggressive,” and do what it takes to win, Spicer explained.

Senator Jeff Sessions appeared on Fox News Sunday to discuss the state of the GOP primary, republican party nominee Donald Trump, and the state of the race:

A Segment was available yesterday, but today we get the full Jake Tapper interview with Bernie Sanders on CNN where Bernie states his support for Debbie Wasserman-Schultz primary opponent her removal from DNC.
There’s a whole lot of good news and ‘splodey head angst in the latest ABC/Washington Post national poll (full pdf below). The poll sample size of 1005 includes a mix of 33% Democrat, 27% Republican and 35% Independent. Democrats over sampled by eight points, (D+8).
However, even with the sample skew (D+8) Donald Trump still beats Hillary Clinton 46% to 44%, and Trump is crushing Clinton with Independent voters 48% to 35%.

In addition to the overwhelming 13 point polling lead among independent voters, the same poll shows that 20% of Bernie Sanders supporters will vote for Donald Trump.
Also, very optimistically presented in the poll data is the exact percentage of Mitt Romney Voters (Never Trumpers) we predicted back in March that would defect to Team Clinton, 6%. Conversely, when the race switches from the primary to the General Election 8% of Clinton primary voters will vote Trump. (more…)
Candidate Donald Trump recorded a video that was played at the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference:
Hillary Clinton speaking at a Trayvon Martin Foundation event is an analogy wrapped up in a proverbial metaphor…. Everything about the foundation, Sybrina Fulton and Hillary Clinton is based on fraud. ALL OF IT.

I was once asked how much time I personally spent in research of the Trayvon Martin shooting from April 2012 to July 2013. My best guess answer was 4,000 hours.
If you were to combine the efforts of approximately 100-500 CTH researchers during the same period you can amplify that number exponentially beyond a half million hours. Yeah, we have some familiarity with this entire story.
I’ve been to Miami Gardens at least 5 times; I’ve interviewed dozens of Krop Senior High school students; I’ve talked to dozens of Miami Dade police officers, Miami-Dade School Police Officers, detectives, resource officers, teachers, school administration officials and school board members. Press Release – Branson, MO: Today at the Missouri Republican State Convention in Branson, Phyllis Schlafly, founder and chairman of Eagle Forum, was elected as a national delegate to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. Phyllis has participated in every convention since 1952.
“Politics is where the action is and the Republican Party is where we can make a difference. I am proud to be a Republican and attend our Conventions,” Schlafly said. “I look forward to joining other conservatives in Cleveland to pass our solid, conservative platform that includes a strong defense of the unborn, traditional marriage, and the American military superiority that has given us ‘peace through strength.’
“I hope that my fellow delegates, especially those being elected to the Platform Committee, will read my new book released this week called How the Republican Party Became Pro-Life. I detail our fight to change the Republican Platform and turn the GOP away from it’s pro-abortion days under Nixon. (more…)
“Reverend, you’ve got balls as big as church bells“…
It looks like we might want to pay attention to provocateur Jake Tapper and State of the Union tomorrow as he interviews Bernie Sanders.
In a recently released snippet from the interview Bernie goes full wolverine on the DNC and specifically DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz. When Tapper thought he would corner Sanders about an openly pro-Sanders Schultz primary opponent, Senator Sanders didn’t flinch and said he fully supports her challenger.
However, Bernie didn’t stop there. He said if he wins the nomination Debbie Wasserman-Schultz will be removed from the DNC. WATCH:
