BREAKING: President Obama's NLRB Recess Appointments Ruled Illegal – SCOTUS Unamious Decision Rules Unconstitutional

Now the question becomes… if the board appointments were illegal, then what happens to all those NLRB rules -2 years worth- that have been instituted since the Labor Board Members were unconstitutionally appointed.

President obama briefed on VA scandalWASHINGTON (AP) — The Supreme Court has limited a president’s power to make temporary appointments to fill high-level government jobs.
The court said Thursday that President Barack Obama exceeded his authority when he invoked the Constitution’s provision on recess appointments to fill slots on the National Labor Relations Board in 2012.
The justices said in their first-ever consideration of the Constitution’s recess appointments clause that Congress gets to decide when it is in recess and that there was no recess when Obama acted. The president said he made the appointments in the face of Republican refusal to allow the NLRB to function.  (read more)

NAACP Tells GOP Thad Cochran He Owes Them For His Mississippi Re-Election – NAACP Requests "Reciprocity"…

thad cochran - chris mcdanielMISSISSIPPI – Black voters played a huge role in helping Sen. Thad Cochran (R-Miss.) fend off tea party challenger Chris McDaniel in a runoff election Tuesday, and now the state NAACP is asking the six-term senator to return the favor.
In an interview with HuffPost Live, Derrick Johnson, president of the Mississippi NAACP, said that Cochran could thank black voters by supporting efforts to re-establish protections in the Voting Rights Act that the Supreme Court struck down last year.

“Our advocacy towards his office is to support amending the Voting Rights Act, free of any conditions such as voter ID,” Johnson said. “I think this is an opportunity for him to show some reciprocity for African-Americans providing a strong level of support for him.”

Smidgen Alert – Lois Lerner Coordinated Efforts To Target GOP Senator Chuck Grassley For IRS Audits…

lois lerner 3Washington, DC – Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Dave Camp (R-MI) announced the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) targeting of conservative individuals includes a sitting United States Senator.
According to emails reviewed by the Committee under its Section 6103 authority, which allows the Committee to review confidential taxpayer information, Lois Lerner sought to have Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) referred for IRS examination.
“We have seen a lot of unbelievable things in this investigation, but the fact that Lois Lerner attempted to initiate an apparently baseless IRS examination against a sitting Republican United States Senator is shocking,” said Camp. “At every turn, Lerner was using the IRS as a tool for political purposes in defiance of taxpayer rights. We may never know the full extent of the abuse since the IRS conveniently lost two years of Lerner emails, not to mention those of other key figures in this scandal. The fact that DOJ refuses to investigate the IRS’s abuses or appoint a special counsel demonstrates, yet again, this Administration’s unwillingness to uphold the rule of law.”  (read more)

Mississippi Democrats Request Payment From GOP For Services Rendered In Delivering Election For Thad Cochran…

The irony will be lost on the professional political class.

Mississippi Democrat Bennie Thompson asks GOP Thad Cochran to repay the Democrats in Mississippi for helping him win his re-election.

Bennie thompsonMISSISSIPPI – Senator Thad Cochran (R., Miss.) needs to reward the black voters who crossed party lines to support him in his runoff against tea party challenger Chris McDaniel by backing some concrete policy initiatives, according the the state’s only member of the Congressional Black Caucus.
“We have historically black colleges in our state who do the best job they can trying to educate our citizens,” Representative Bennie G. Thompson told National Review Online during a Wednesday interview at the Capitol. ”I’d like to see efforts that they receive full funding. I’d like to see the health care of our citizens improved; our children die too young. I’d like to see an increased effort to make sure that the minority unemployment rate inn our state is reduced. So, there are a lot of opportunities for us to start with.”  (read more)

"Expanding The Electorate"….Because Electoral Fraud Sounds So Crass

RINOToday Mitch McConnell, K Street lobbyists, and the NRSC are all backslaps and smiles…congratulating one another on their ability to get out the black vote in Mississippi.  Why?  Because they couldn’t have maintained their hold on the Republican Party without them.
The K-Street Lobbyist crowd sent out robocalls implying the Tea Party and Chris McDaniel were racist, because they opposed Obama’s agenda. The calls told voters to “say no to the Tea Party and their disrespectful treatment of the first African-American President.” There were even flyers claiming that a McDaniel victory would stop black Americans from voting.
What do they call their solution?  “Expanding the Electorate”.

IRS Admits Targeting and Agrees To Pay Conservative Group $50,000 As Compensation For Releasing Information To Liberal Group….

Before the Lois Lerner issues hit the news, the IRS was sending the identity of conservative Traditional Marriage Defenders to liberal/gay opposition groups so the Rainbow Mafia could target them.   The IRS has admitted doing this.

Yet, with Lois Lerner, and essentially the same claims, the institutional Democrat Party within the IRS claim there is no “there” there.

irs leadershipWASHINGTON – The IRS has agreed to pay $50,000 in damages to the National Organization for Marriage (NOM) for unlawfully releasing its private information to a gay rights group that is a political rival, the Daily Signal has learned.
NOM expressed relief at the settlement agreement.

“Congress made the disclosure of confidential tax return information a serious matter for a reason,” NOM chairman John D. Eastman told The Daily Signal. “We’re delighted that the IRS has now been held accountable for the illegal disclosure of our list of major donors from our tax return.”

Federal Records Archivist Testifies IRS "Did Not Follow The Law" On Lost Lois Lerner E-Mails…

WASHINGTON DC – The top U.S. official in charge of archiving federal records testified Tuesday that the IRS ran afoul of the law by neglecting to tell his office that a trove of emails from the woman at the center of the targeting scandal disappeared after an apparent hard drive crash.

Archivist of the U.S. David Ferriero, speaking before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, made clear that federal agencies are supposed to report whenever their records are destroyed or even accidentally deleted. But he said that after emails from embattled IRS official Lois Lerner vanished after a computer failure in 2011, nobody told the National Archives.
“They did not follow the law,” Ferriero said.  (read more)

White House Executes "Undercover Boss Strategy" To Try and Rebuild Obama's Plummeting Approval Rating….

Operation “A Day In The Life” is a plan to make you believe President Obama is just like you, and cares about you…

Obama-Sunglasses - President CoolWe’re not sure which White House Millennial came up with this idea – but odds are they were wearing black framed glasses.    Whoever developed this strategy more than likely lunches with the creator of “Pajama Boy” during the day, and plays beer pong with Tommy “dude”  Vietor at night.

Taking cues from the success of TV show “Undercover Boss”, apparently someone in the White House believes they can transfer the concept to President Obama – and capture for the administration the generally warm sentiment the TV show’s message attempts to leave with its followers.

WASHINGTON DC – Apparently because he doesn’t get out of the White House enough (?) — or have enough to do? — President Obama will travel to Minnesota on Thursday to “spend a day with Rebekah,” described by the White House as a “hardworking mom from Minneapolis,” who wrote to the president to tell him “how much harder it’s become to get ahead and do right by her family.”
When the president receives letters like Rebekah’s, he “makes notes in the margins, and sits down to reply personally,” the White House said.
This time, he’s made plans to meet with Rebekah — on Thursday — to “spend a day in her shoes.”
In fact, this is the first in a series of “day-in-the-life” visits that President Obama plans to make across the country this summer. (more…)
