On the heels of Sean Hannity’s interview with George Zimmerman, MSNBC defends itself against the accusation that they, in general, and Al Sharpton specifically, did not “rush to judgement” in the Trayvon Martin shooting.

Here is the official MSNBC position as told to Politico:

“MSNBC would like to set the record straight following some misinformation presented by Fox News during the interview with George Zimmerman last night,” MSNBC wrote in a statement sent to POLITICO. “Reverend Al Sharpton never ‘rushed to judgment,’ as stated by Mr. Hannity. Reverend Sharpton repeatedly called for calm and for a more thorough investigation in the wake of the tragic events. Ultimately, the authorities agreed an arrest was warranted.”

After several weeks leading the mantra calling for more years of Tax Returns from Mitt Romney, someone finally asks Nancy Pelosi about hers.   Her response, well lets just drop the whole silly thing…. such a distraction and stuff.   Uh huh…   Insufferable Progs !
Goes right along with Wasserman-Schult’s second home kept secret, revelations about Swiss and offshore bank accounts, and her refusal to release her tax returns also.
WASHINGTON DC – Facing questions about why she and other top Congressional officials won’t release their tax returns, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) downplayed her previous demands for presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney to release his, calling the issue a distraction.
As recently as Wednesday, Pelosi had strongly urged Romney to provide further disclosure of his tax returns. But today, while maintaining Romney should release more documents because of “custom” and “tradition,” Pelosi said the issue was trivial compared with economic issues.
“We spent too much time on that. We should be talking about middle-income tax cuts,” Pelosi said after answering two questions about the issue. (more…)

Failure to recognize or accept the existence of evil in the world does not protect you from it.

Conservatives, people of faith, Tea Party patriots and normal, hard-working Americans have a high degree of difficulty with believing the worst about other people’s intentions.

We have been slow to recognize intentional evil in our midst. There are many reasons why this is so but my purpose is to point out that this level of deliberate evil on the part of a nation’s own citizens, campaigning for her destruction and planning evil against her, is nothing new. Not at all.
And therefore–as we know that--we do not have to feel apologetic or squirrelly or “on the spot” when we conclude that it is indeed appropriate to believe the worst about the intentions of some folks in places of influence and power.  It may feel like a very unfamiliar place for us to have to decide to take a stand.  It sure has felt odd for me.  But we didn’t go looking for this place.  It has come to us. (Huff Po) Sean Hannity has landed the first interview with George Zimmerman.    Hannity interviewed both Zimmerman and his attorney, Mark O’Mara, for an episode that will air on Wednesday night. Hillary was part of, and facilitator for, President Obama’s overriding desire to eliminate the Beacon of Freedom and American influence abroad.   President Obama sat on his hands and watched the slaughter of The Green Party in Iraq (Feb 2010) because his ideological make-up is, as it has always been, for governmental control over the lives of people.   President Obama and his Prog-policies are antithetical to freedom principles.
So in February 2011 when the Arab spring spread from Tunisia to Egypt, it was President Obama and his cohorts against freedom aka: Cass Sunstein, Samantha Powers, Susan Rice, Valerie Jarrett and Pantsuits Hillary, who specifically and intentionally sat on their hands to empower the anti-freedom sharia extremists to take up positioning to corrupt the cries for Freedom – It worked. PRIDE BEGETS THE FALL.

The Romney campaign has not invited former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to speak at the Republican convention in Tampa.  The Romney folks have not even invited her to attend the party’s premier event.   It’s no secret that Sarah Palin does not TRUST Mitt Romney to hold steadfast to constitutional small governmental principles, no-one does.   It is the same reason why Mittens became the ‘Anyone But Obama’ candidate by default after failing to get more than 40% support from self-identified Conservative Republicans during the primary season.  
If Romney disparages someone who holds the trust of the constitutional majority, well, he’s toast.
WASHINGTON DC –   On the day that Mitt Romney formally announced his run for the presidency last year, he found himself competing with a stiff New Hampshire wind, which stood his hair on end and played havoc with his microphones. What blew in later was even more distracting: the red, white, and blue bus bearing Sarah Palin on her “One Nation” tour. Barack Obama lectured supporters on economics and entrepreneurship last night in Roanoke, Virginia. He told the crowd, “If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.”   Really? 

White House – There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else.
