obama-got-it-doneAs President Barack Obama’s signature Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enters the all-important sign-up phase next week, the president finds himself with some of the lowest approval ratings of his presidency even as Republicans in an unpopular Congress maneuver to block the health-care legislation from taking effect.
A Reuters-Ipsos poll of 1,729 Americans taken Sept. 20-24 found only 39 percent of those surveyed approve of the job Obama is doing as president, while 55 percent disapprove.

Mark Levin Swings The Atomic Sledgehammer Of Truth

This is well worth 9 minutes of your time. Mark Levin talks to Jake Tapper on CNN:

Iran Needed Two Things – President Obama Gave Them Both….

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it”

Obama - KaboomNo-one wants war.   If you look throughout modern history you will find a seemingly consistent view of conflict from the peaceful nations who often are forced to bear witness to regional conflicts driven by evil regimes.
The evil nations, who hold an ideological hatred, use the reflexive nature of conflict avoidance, held by most civilized nations, to advance their goals.    It has always been thus.
In 1938 Czechoslovakia suffered from the avoidance principle espoused by the British and the French; the Czechs became victim to Germany.
In 2013 while the globe is indeed smaller and more closely attached, the same mindset carries toward a league of nations watching Israel play the role of Czechoslovakia, and Iran taking the place of Germany.
What Germany needed in 1937/1938 was time and a British/French unwillingness.   What Iran needs in 2013 is time, and a U.S. unwillingness.    The key difference is this: in 1938 Czech could not defend herself…. In 2013, Israel can.
So Iran needs something else.
Something which President Obama just gave them. (more…)

And So It Begins…. Predictably The "Decepticons" Who Voted With Harry Reid For Cloture – Now Claim They Voted Against Funding Obamacare…

The insufferable belief that WE THE PEOPLE are stupid reins supreme in the mindset of these idiots who fail to grasp that an engaged electorate accurately understand what they have done.

No Senator, we are not stupid.   You voted to allow “cloture” on the Senate Bill which allowed the Democrats to strip out the defunding mechanism with a simple majority.   We are NOT fooled.
You did not vote to defund Obamacare, you voted to allow the continuing resolution -which funded Obamacare- to advance with a 51 vote threshold.
You are the worst kind of politician; the kind who think We are Stupid.

Lindsey Graham is up for re-election in this cycle.   South Carolina please primary him OUT !

You're Not Going To Believe This One – Senator McCain Hires, Elizabeth O’Bagy, The Syrian Rebel Advocate Who Fabricated Her Background and Credentials

Via Weasel Zippers – who shares: So knowing she’s a liar, knowing that she’s in bed with the “rebels”, that she put out conflicting accounts, that she whitewashed the “rebels” into a more “moderate” force, this woman is worthy, according to John McCain, of being hired to his staff.   This is so unbelievable, it makes one think that there is some greater personal underlying reason operating here.

John McCain - Lord Of The TarpWASHINGTON DC – Arizona Republican Sen. John McCain hired the Syria analyst in favor of U.S. intervention who was fired for fabricating her Ph.D., Foreign Policy reported.
Elizabeth O’Bagy, formerly of the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), will start Monday as a legislative assistant in Sen. McCain’s office.
McCain told Foreign Policy that “Elizabeth is a talented researcher, and I have been very impressed by her knowledge and analysis in multiple briefings over the last year.” The senator’s office said they would not make any further comment on O’Bagy’s employment. (more…)

Harry Reid Tells The House Of Representatives: “Only Way” To Avert Shutdown Is “Accept What We’ve Done” In The Senate…

Reid-Schumer
WASHINGTON — The Senate on Friday passed a resolution that would fund the government through Nov. 15 and provide funding for Obamacare.
One week ago, the House passed a government funding bill that funded the government through Dec. 15 and defunded Obamacare. Over the vocal and longwinded — 21 hours and 19 minutes to be exact — objections of Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, a majority of senators voted to amend the House bill to include funding for the health-care plan, set to be implemented next week. (more…)

I’m a physician, and what is not being reported are the number of physicians fleeing medicine all together. Our most experienced oncologist at this hospital just announced his retirement as of January 1st. He’s 52. The cardiology group will stop seeing hospital patients, general surgeons not taking ER call, neurologists are longer performing EMGs, and I could go on for pages. My group is the third biggest group in the country in my specialty. We experienced 26% GROWTH this past year and our revenue was DOWN 17% from the previous year. There are even more draconian cuts coming in January. MOST of my specialty will be forced to close their practice permanently as they will lose money with every patient they see. You cannot make that up on volume. This means there will be hospitals that will literally have to stop all patient care activities as no department in the hospital can function, by law, without my specialty.
As bad as anyone THOUGHT Obamacare MIGHT be, it will be FAR, FAR WORSE. I stated years ago that this might be the single most destructive piece of legislation in the history of the world as it will simultaneously with a single pen stroke destroy the economy, destroy the best health care system ever seen, and put more people into the unemployment line than we’ve ever seen before.

Dem Sen. Joe Manchin Calls For Delaying Obamacare Individual Mandate After White House Announces New Delays…

With all the White House carved out Obamacare exemptions, and strategic delays to Obamacare implementation, how much do you want to bet the delay for all Labor Union impacts is close at hand.     Watch.
Doctor ObamaSometime.. soon as the fiscal issues are resolved (CR’s issued and debt ceiling raised) there will be a Friday afternoon announcement noting that due to his magnanimous constitution, and out of an abundance of concern for listening to people, and because he is just a wonderful moderate, President Obama will exempt/delay labor unions from Health Insurance plan implementation under Obamacare.  Watch.
WASHINGTON DC – U.S. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia broke ranks with fellow Democrats and said he’d support a stopgap spending plan that delays the individual mandate in President Barack Obama’s health-care law.
“There’s no way I could not vote for it,” Manchin said at a Bloomberg Government breakfast today. “It’s very reasonable and sensible.”
The individual mandate is the linchpin of the law that requires most Americans to purchase health care through government-run insurance exchanges. Republicans, led by a group of newcomers in the House, are pushing to dismantle the health-care law and are using a ticking clock on a possible Oct. 1 government shutdown as leverage. (more…)

Please Kentucky…..

Vote out Mitch McConnell in the primary.

Please.
