Ask yourself: where is this kind of ‘in-your-face’ argumentative interview style when President Obama is being questioned ? Remember, Jonathan Karl is ABC’s White House correspondent.

Associated Press: […] Obama’s advisers say the president has been frustrated by the flawed rollout. During one of his daily health care briefings last week, he told advisers assembled in the Oval Office that the administration had to own up to the fact that there were no excuses for not having the website ready to operate as promised.
The president is expected to address the problems on Monday during a health care event at the White House. Cabinet members and other top administration officials will also be traveling around the country in the coming weeks to encourage sign-ups in areas with the highest population of uninsured people. Second anniversary of this 2011 post:
You’ll never get a clue what’s being done to, and within, this country from the complicit “mainstream” media. But a KGB expert who defected to the good guys was explaining it for us back in the 80s. Yuri Bezmenov tried to warn us:
Stage One: Demoralization – Elimination of American Exceptionalism, fundamental change of national identity, structural deconstruction of foundational principles, elimination of religion. Embedding a new societal design upon the psyche of generations through ideological academia. Peer pressure by elites upon academics and society to convince that prior values were inherently flawed, racist, prejudiced etc. National identity is diluted with aspersions toward historical references. National history is re-written, re-defined, and molded to fit the new intended behavioral model and create the new values.

Stage Two: Destabilization – Creation of economic, financial, and national security crisis. Also includes social crisis and breakdown of previous self-evident restrictions on moral behavior. Cloward Piven approach to overloading the system, ie more takers than producers. The crisis produces benevolent leaders who will promise to deliver “things” (Hope and Change) to meet people’s needs through Social and Economic Justice. False illusions that the situation is under control if certain strategic directions are followed (Bailouts, Stimulus, Jobs Bills, Regulations of industry, Unconstitutional Power Grabs, Dismissal of Historical Laws, Changes in legislative processes, Changes in checks and balances of power etc). Those were the words from Dr. Benjamin Franklin as he exited the Constitutional Convention in reply to Philadelphian Mrs. Powell’s question: “what form of government have you given us”?

We spend quite a bit of time on this website talking about the need to stand in the sunlight of your own beliefs and not be discouraged. There is a reason why President Obama tells our national audience to stop listening to talk radio, bloggers, and those who stand in opposition to the leftward march of his rigid ideologues. They would prefer you to find comfort amid the shadows.
Their reason is the same now as it always has been. The Fabian’s need to convince you your views are in the minority. They hold a collective view of all governance, and individual liberty and freedom principles run directly in opposition to their own goals.
The Fabian goals are achieved by destruction of common acceptances and “Remould Closer To Their Heart’s Desire”. Hence, they need you to actually operate against your beliefs of individualism, and they need to continue convincing people to vote against their own individual best interests.
Considering the morale of liberty against the backdrop of the Fabian intents we have drawn historical references to the Polish Solidarity movement.
Several weeks ago we outlined one such similarity; in response a reader who lived through the Polish Solidarity experience wrote a message to share: (more…)
The current administration’s cabinet personnel are all so similar it becomes, well, actually odd.
‘When this job came available, it was such an incredible opportunity to work so closely with the president. But everything’s a cost-benefit, right? And the benefits of this and the influence of this job are sufficiently great that there were more costs I was willing to take on the family side.’
– Samantha Power
No Samantha, actually it’s not a “cost-benefit analysis”, not even close. It is actually just a matter of priorities. We do that which is important to us, and we avoid or postpone, if avoidance impossible, that which is not seen as important.

New York – United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power has said that it is the thrill of a lifetime to be working at the international organization that she has idolized for years, but that doesn’t mean that she won’t be happy it’s over. (more…)
Park Service admits to a coordinated strategy to inflict the maximum visible pain possible in an effort to afford President Obama will political gains during government shutdown.
As previously discussed and anticipated. However, in the article the influence of Denis McDonough is avoided….
WASHINGTON DC – President Obama’s top adviser Valerie Jarrett was behind a plan to force a showdown with Republicans over ObamaCare as part of a strategy to regain Democratic control of the House next year, claims author Ed Klein.
Klein — who wrote a provocative biography about Obama last year entitled “The Amateur” — said White House insiders refer to Jarrett as “The Night Stalker” because she is the only presidential aide who frequently spends time in the family quarters and dines with the Obamas.
Klein, who is conducting a research for a new Obama tome scheduled for next spring, called Jarrett the “architect” of Obama’s take-no- prisoners approach when it comes to his signature domestic policy initiative.
It was Jarrett who advised Obama that voters would mostly blame Republicans if the federal government ground to a halt, providing a golden opportunity to swing back control of the House to Democrats in the 2014 mid-term elections, according to Klein. (more…)
(Daily Kos) My wife and I just got our updates from Kaiser telling us what our 2014 rates will be. Her monthly has been $168 this year, mine $150. We have a high deductible. We are generally healthy people who don’t go to the doctor often. I barely ever go. The insurance is in case of a major catastrophe.
Well, now, because of Obamacare, my wife’s rate is gong to $302 per month and mine is jumping to $284.
I am canceling insurance for us and I am not paying any f**king penalty. What the hell kind of reform is this?
Oh, ok, if we qualify, we can get some government assistance. Great. So now I have to jump through another hoop to just chisel some of this off. And we don’t qualify, anyway, so what’s the point? (more…)
We knew sooner or later someone in the media would pick up on this. It appears Forbes is the first large media outlet to share what we have outlined for the past two weeks.
The HHS website issues/flaws stem from the structural design to keep users from recognizing their cost.
Forbes Magazine – A growing consensus of IT experts, outside and inside the government, have figured out a principal reason why the website for Obamacare’s federally-sponsored insurance exchange is crashing. Healthcare.gov forces you to create an account and enter detailed personal information before you can start shopping. This, in turn, creates a massive traffic bottleneck, as the government verifies your information and decides whether or not you’re eligible for subsidies. HHS bureaucrats knew this would make the website run more slowly. But they were more afraid that letting people see the underlying cost of Obamacare’s insurance plans would scare people away.
HHS didn’t want users to see Obamacare’s true costs – “Healthcare.gov was initially going to include an option to browse before registering,” report Christopher Weaver and Louise Radnofsky in the Wall Street Journal. (more…)
The American Spectator has in its possession a construct of an e-mail sent by President Obama and DoD Secretary Hagle to all military members attacking Republican opposition to his agenda and the Government Shutdown. A clear violation of the Hatch Act.
“Military and civilian employees of the federal government are absolutely prohibited from using government supplies, equipment, communication systems and facilities in any political activity.” (DoD Memo)
The American Spectator has been provided with the text of a political message sent on Saturday evening, using Department of Defense communications systems, on behalf of President Obama and Secretary of Defense Hagel.
It is addressed to “all US government employees” and further specified by the DoD sender to go to “all subordinate commands,” in compliance with Hagel’s call for “the widest possible distribution.”
The message contains standard presidential lauding of public service, but goes on to attack the current government shutdown by specifically castigating the House of Representatives, saying that the House — which is unsubtle code for Republicans — should “follow the Senate’s lead…without trying to attach…partisan measures in the process.” (more…)
