We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E’s decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word. While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Phil would never incite or encourage hate. We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right. We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty. Again, thank you for your continued support of our family. (link)

(Via COFCC)  Trevonnte Brown, 19, boarded a Seattle public bus with a ski mask and a handgun. He immediately started robbing passengers at gunpoint.
After taking possessions from three people, the fourth would-be victim fought back. He stuck his finger into the trigger guard, behind the trigger, to prevent the thug from being able to fire the gun. Others joined in and Brown was pummeled and subdued.

After police placed him in a squad car, he smashed a car window with his feet.
Relatives of the 19 year old monster told media that “he is a good kid.” Trevonnte Brown pleaded not guilty despite the video of his dastardly crimes.  Brown has been convicted of theft in the past, but it was removed from his record because he was a juvenile.
Because the THUG is black you won’t find this story outside of local reporting.  It doesn’t fit the narrative – Even though the footage is dramatic  – ABC Report HERE

25 year old 2nd Lt Paul deWolf, USAF, third year medical student and active duty officer on an Air Force scholarship at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor,  was murdered by three black thugs during a home invasion robbery of his residence, an off campus fraternity house he shared with other medical students.

DeWolf was asleep in his own domicile – a bedroom in the basement of the Phi Ro Sigma fraternity house – when he was startled awake by the noise the intruders were creating during their return to the residence after previously stealing and removing a PlayStation 3 game system.  At a hearing held this week, it was revealed by Ann Arbor police that the still unnamed alleged trigger puller currently jailed in Michigan on a bond violation in a different case, had not yet been charged with deWolf’s murder. Dustin Friedland had just let his beloved Jamie into their luxury SUV and was walking around to the driver’s side when he was ambushed by two crooks who demanded the keys, a source close to the investigation told The Daily News.

Illinois – […]  Daniel Wilson says he was walking home last night from the bus stop on Harrison. When he got to Folkers Avenue across from Trewyn middle school, he was blind sided by two attackers.
Luckily for Wilson, a nearby youth program officer, an ELITE officer, Bill Cannon, was able to identify the attackers.
The victim says he’s shocked at who they were.

WASHINGTON DC – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said she spoke with Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday and asked when an overhaul to immigration laws could be considered in the House.
“He told me yes, we have to wait until next year,” Pelosi told reporters on Wednesday morning.
Democrats have been pushing House Republicans to hold a vote on a landmark immigration reform bill that was passed in June, or try to work on their own immigration legislation. But Republicans have been apprehensive, with the most conservative members opposed to anything that could provide a pathway to citizenship or legalization for undocumented immigrants.  (continue reading)

They have a literary agent?   Out of an abundance of caution, and under the advice of physicians, I will refrain from commentary.  FOR NOW.   However, I would like to know your thoughts on what their book should be titled.

(NEW YORK) The parents of Trayvon Martin met with publishers this week to shop a book about their son, the unarmed black teenager who was shot and killed in Florida in 2012.

According to two publishing executives who participated in meetings, Mr. Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, said they intended to write a book that gives the full picture of their son while tracing their own experience of shock and sorrow.
The meetings were described as somber and moving by publishers who were present. Ms. Fulton and Mr. Martin were accompanied by Jan Miller, their Dallas-based literary agent. (more…)

If you do not support ObamaCare, not only are you racist, you are a person who supports Apartheid.   If you do not support President Obama you are the kind of person who would have enjoyed seeing Nelson Mandela rot in jail  – So sayeth Rep. Cummings.
The only way you can prove you are not a racist, and you must prove it – or else,  or prove you are not an apartheid apologist, is to support ObamaCare.   Capuche?
WASHINGTON DC – Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Thursday likened the political fight to implement the Affordable Care Act to the plight of Nelson Mandela, who fought against apartheid in South Africa.
Cummings attended Mandela’s memorial service in South Africa this week and said the connection occurred to him on the 20-hour flight home.

“It was an inspirational trip because I had the opportunity to reflect on the amazing changes that one individual, working with determination over a lifetime, can bring to millions of others,” Cummings said, according to prepared remarks released ahead of a House Oversight Committee hearing on “ObamaCare’s Impact on Premiums and Provider Networks.” […] (more…)

We’ve been anticipating an increasing frequency of illegal immigration stories in the media headlines.   Examples specifically selected by the media to highlight a narrative portraying illegal aliens as “innocent victims”.    Consider it “The Dreamers 2.0” – only, on steroids.
We fully expect this narrative will be seeded through the upper echelon of leftist news outlets.   Upper tier media conglomerates, individual executive boards, owners and Hollywood working together with political connections to position storylines favorable to illegal alien sympathy.   
[We shall call this “Operation Brown Dream“] 
The “Brown Dream” strategy is intended to build momentum toward the upcoming State of The Union speech where President Obama will demand a comprehensive immigration reform agenda, including amnesty, for 2014.    The politics are strategically aligned to aid in the November mid-terms, but also to act as a distraction to Obamacare.   The Amnesty Bill will create anxiety and divide ranks – this allows the process to move forward and create a Win/Win.    Here’s one example: (more…)
