Often times when conversations turn to the dictates emanating from Washington DC you hear the word “they”. As you read the following article from The Hill, may I draw your attention to the inherent arrogance contained within the framework.

(Via The Hill) Sen. Marco Rubio’s (R-Fla.) political stock is rated a buy by major Republican fundraisers in Washington, who are bullish on Rubio’s future as a 2016 presidential candidate.
A group of Republican fundraising heavyweights and wise men in Washington’s business community are solidly behind Rubio, and see him not only as someone who could win the White House, but someone they can work with.
The fundraisers include Bill Paxon, a former New York lawmaker who is now a senior adviser at Akin Gump; Dirk Van Dongen, the president of the National Wholesalers Association; and Wayne Berman, a big-time donor with a knack for picking winning candidates in presidential primaries. (more…)

Democrats are hemorhaging over Obamacare and the destruction of the US health care system. One-sixth of the economy is affected and millions of Americans were repeatedly lied to by Democrats in order to get the law passed. So what do Republican leaders plan to do this year? Pass amnesty.
On its face it does seem ridiculous. However, there really is a good reason for The Republican Party to approach it. Notice it’s the “Republican Party Leadership” doing this push -meaning, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell- not the rank and file.
“There is definitely a growing mood of confusion and aggravation among conservatives in the House over the immigration issue right now,” one House GOP aide said in an email to Breitbart News, adding that many on the right find the “political logic” of riling up the party’s base so close to a low-turnout midterm election baffling. “Do we really want to just give up the midterms like this?” the aide asked. It just couldn’t be possible the message itself is what people are opposed to…. Nah, the message is too wonderful. The problem must be, it just has to be, that it’s just not reaching them. After all, to accept any other consideration would be to accept that other people’s ideas actually have merit for debate….

The movie, the second highest domestic grossing political documentary in the United States since 1982, was a huge success before the 2012 elections. Indicted by a federal grand jury for arranging excessive campaign contributions to a candidate for the U.S. Senate. According to an indictment made public on Thursday in federal court in Manhattan, D’Souza around August 2012 reimbursed people who he had directed to contribute $20,000 to the candidate’s campaign. Not for blacks, or for supposedly “similarly situated” whites.
So how in the world can Justice claim “Ally’s specific policy and practice are not justified by a legitimate business need?”
It really can’t. That’s why it relies on statistics to “prove” such policies had a “disparate impact” on minorities, while arbitrarily finding those disparities so “significant” they can’t be explained by chance.
Arbitrary, because neither Justice nor CFPB will reveal its threshold for “significant,” despite repeated bipartisan requests from Congress.
The Credit Rating service Fitch notes that it may be more than just a desire to extort from the banks which lend in the auto market:
Fitch also notes that CFPB does not have jurisdiction over auto dealers and their practices. Actions taken against lenders could be an indirect way to regulate dealers.

Throughout America, black teens run wild; police refuse to “serve and protect”, media not interested in analyzing any potential “trends” or identifying the violence as targeted and racially motivated “hate crimes”.

An hour earlier police said the same teens ransacked and terrorized customers at a Rite Aid off Rainier. Seattle police said officers aware of problems in the area but are not doing any special patrols.
In fact, the Ethiopian church’s pastor said the police didn’t even ask them for their surveillance video.
A copy of the police report *briefly* flashed on the screen during the TV report confirms that the perps are all black males and females, and the victims white, but the news media does not once mention race, just “teens” committing “seemingly random” attacks. The media did not find it important to note that the surrounding area (Rainier Valley) is 83% non-white; but the victims are overwhelmingly white, however, they did express that the neighborhood “doesn’t have the best reputation”.
A black woman interviewed is dismissive, chalking the mob assaults up to “teen peer pressure” (Oh! well, okay then! Moving on ….)
You know what is needed? A “renewed commitment $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ….” /s/

NEW YORK – Mayor de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane McCray, wants her own office inside City Hall — and to play a hands-on, policy-setting role in her husband’s administration, sources told The Post.
Officials have been scouting space for New York City’s new first lady, who described herself as a “sounding board and partner” to her husband during his campaign and transition to mayor, a source said.
And the administration has been working on a portfolio of issues for McCray to tackle, another source said.
McCray would also like a staff — and her top pick to head it up is Rachel Noerdlinger, a longtime spokeswoman and confidant for the Rev. Al Sharpton, NY1 reported Friday. (read more)
