Floyd Corkins, the shooter who attempted a mass killing at the Family Research Council at the ideological behest of the SPLC, is on trial.    The government said, in making its recommendation  for 45 years in prison, that if not for the security guard’s actions, Corkins ‘would have almost  certainly succeeded in committing a massacre of epic portions.’

(Via Daily Mail) The sandwich-heavy contents of his backpack may look amusing, but government prosecutors are demanding that the Virginia man who attempted a killing spree at the Family Research Council last year deserves a 45 year sentence.

Floyd Corkins II entered the the Washington headquarters of the conservative Christian lobbying group in August with nearly 100 rounds of ammunition and 15 Chick-fil-A sandwiches stuffed in his bag as part of an elaborate plan to shoot as many people as possible. (more…)

(Via Fox News)  The U.S. Army is directing troops to remove a Bible inscription that a vendor etched into the serial numbers of weapon scopes, Fox News has learned.

Soldiers at Fort Wainwright in Alaska told Fox News they received a directive to turn in their scopes so the Bible references could be removed.

The scopes were made by Trijicom and referenced New Testament passages in John 8:12 and Second Corinthians 4:6. The verses appeared at the end of the scope serial numbers – “JN8:12” and “2COR4:6.” (more…)

It was another “Thrill Killing” – but the media just cannot grasp the intentional motive.

Six black teens all under the age of 17 shoot and kill a 34-year-old white male driving down the street in a suburban neighborhood of no particular consequence, for no apparent reason.    (….stop me when you get to the point where you’ve heard this before….)

The black shooter thugs?   One was 13, two were 14, two were 15 and one was 16-years old.

CANADA – A potential bomb plot on a passenger train over the Niagara River has been averted, a police source says.

While officials have not confirmed the train bombing plan, the RCMP are holding a news conference at 3:30 p.m. Monday to outline details of the arrest of what they say was a planned terror plot.

One police source said there were several scenarios being looked at during the year the suspects were tracked, including the train plot. (more…)

One, perhaps positive, thing that’s coming from the Boston bombing is the ideology of the Prog-Left being dragged out into the spotlight.    Cue Secretary of State John “ketchup boy” Kerry – who compares the victims from the Boston terror attack to the militant islamists  killed aboard the Gaza blockade ship Mavi Marmara in 2010.  

Yeah, he said that ! 

(via GWP) Nine people were killed aboard the Gaza-bound Mavi Marmara after IDF troops  encountered violent resistance by “peace activists” when they boarded the ship.  The so-called “peace activists” were armed with an assortment of weapons. They threw stun grenades and beat the Israeli soldiers with pipes and chains. The ship failed to comply to Israeli commands before it was boarded.  The terrorists planned the surprise attack on the Israeli troops in advance.

BOSTON – Law enforcement sources tell ABC News that the Boston Marathon bombings suspect is awake and has been responding sporadically in writing to questions.

Officials say they have been asking about other cell members and other unexploded bombs. Details on any answers given have not been released.

A senior law enforcement official also told ABC News that FBI negotiators tried for roughly 20 to 25 minutes to convince suspect number two, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, to give himself up. Officials say there was a verbal exchange between them and the suspect, and then the 19-year-old eventually fell out of the boat. (more…)

Typical ‘America Sucks’ leftist perspective.   When Rush Limbaugh predicted the media would “circle the wagons” if the bombers were muslim perhaps he should have gone wolverine and predicted they would actually BLAME US for it.  

Brokaw represents Modern-Progressive Perspective.  This is how the current Democrat Party followers actually think and believe.   Don’t make excuses for them, or try to rationalize what they are saying – just accept it.   Modern progs hate America, they hate everything about America, they hate freedom and principles of freedom.   Everything bad that happens is “our fault”, and nothing is the fault of their ideological followers.

If you doubt this is actually their view, think about what they would be saying if the Boston Bomber was a Tea Party member.   Do you think they would be saying it’s “our fault” for not accepting a smaller government model more in line with the foundational principle of our republic?  ……  Ha, not even close.
