(USATODAY)….INDIANAPOLIS – Federal authorities are probing the actions of a Saudi Arabian man who tried to get into the cockpit of an American Airlines flight to here. Indianapolis Airport police said Abdulaziz Mubarak Alshammari, 20, was pulled away from the cabin door by another passenger a half hour before Flight 1936 from New York to Indianapolis International Airport landed at about 10 p.m. Wednesday.
Alshammari, who said he is a student at the University of Indianapolis, appeared confused when flight attendants and police questioned him, according to a police report. Investigators photocopied a note Alshammari wrote in Arabic while on the plane. Scott Hall, a spokesman for the University of Indianapolis, said the school has no record of Alshammari being a student there. (more…)

During a Thursday afternoon press conference, Nancy Pelosi offered glowing praise for all those participating in the “Occupy Wall Street” protests. “God bless them,” Pelosi said, “for their spontaneity. It’s independent…it’s young, it’s spontaneous, and it’s focused. And it’s going to be effective. The message of the protesters is a message for the establishment everyplace,” said the House Democrats’ leader. “No longer will the recklessness of some on Wall Street cause massive joblessness on Main Street.” (more…)

(RightScoop)…I’m not sure if I’ve ever heard a more offensive interview on MSNBC than the one I just heard from Lawrence O’Donnell with Herman Cain. In one interview O’Donnell managed to accuse Herman Cain of not only sitting on the sidelines during the civil rights movement, but also of dodging the Vietnam war. His contempt for a black Republican has never been more clear.
At one point in the interview, O’Donnell asked Cain where America would be right now if Rosa Parks took his dad’s advice to stay out of trouble and just sit in the back of the bus. Seriously. It was like he was trying to prove that Cain hadn’t earned his black skin or something. It was terribly offensive and I hope Cain never steps foot again in the studios of MSNBC. (more…)
(PJTatler)…“Reid triggers nuclear option to change rules, prohibit filibusters,” The Hill reports:
Reid appealed a ruling from the chair that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) does not need consent to force a vote on a motion to suspend the rules to consider an amendment after cloture has already been approved.
The maneuver is highly arcane but momentous. If a simple majority of the Senate votes to uphold Reid’s appeal, the Senate’s rules will have been changed by the unilateral action of one party. (more…)

Yesterday Steve Jobs’ biological father Abdulfattah “John” Jandali, a Syrian-born Sunni Muslim and current casino executive in Reno, Nevada, told the media he knew of his son’s passing but would not be talking about it. “I really don’t have anything to say,” said Jandali, 80, “I know the news.”
Last August 27th, Jindali gave an interview to the “The Sun”, telling the paper he feared time was running out and he may never get to meet his son. Jobs never responded to Jandali’s public request for a reunion. Jandali would later say that the interview he gave the paper was “a mistake”, and that he would not publicly discuss Jobs again.

Sarah Palin will not run for president. She made the announcement in a letter to supporters Wednesday night.
Read Palin’s letter here:
October 5, 2011
Wasilla, Alaska
After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States. As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.
My decision is based upon a review of what common sense Conservatives and Independents have accomplished, especially over the last year. I believe that at this time I can be more effective in a decisive role to help elect other true public servants to office – from the nation’s governors to Congressional seats and the Presidency. We need to continue to actively and aggressively help those who will stop the “fundamental transformation” of our nation and instead seek the restoration of our greatness, our goodness and our constitutional republic based on the rule of law. Listen to this rant from a poster child for the Left. He’s a college graduate making $7.00 an hour working as a plumber. I guess if the Tea Party is racist, then this makes the Occupy Wall Street group anti-semites…using lefty logic?
