I think that you are correct but I think we, as conservatives, need to very clearly differentiate between behavior that is immoral and unacceptable vs behavior that is criminal! Humans are best naturally adapted to standard time. Changing the time twice a year kills a certain amount of people each year caused by the time changes and it adds sustained stress that can last for up to eight weeks depending on the person for each change.
Even standard time is an artificial construct, and it matters more to those living at higher latitudes than to those closer to the equator. My personal choice would be to leave what is now DST in place and not switch back to stansard time. I rather like having the longer evenings in summer to enjoy outdoors.
