There was an ethical dilemma, because the administration could not warn the male students about the medical status of the female, HIPAA and all that.

When my grandma was in college in the 1890s, contact between men and women was strictly monitored, in part to prevent these sorts of situations that disgraced the students and the institution.

So you are eventually vindicated and absolved, but you still have to pay an attorney to represent you and have to deal with months of stress because of pending legal charges. There is also the arrest on your record, even though there was no conviction.

The backstory involves a co-ed who says that while at a fraternity party she had been plied with drinks and ketamine, and at some point, adventurous sex had turned into an involuntary group, whereby she became victimized. This charge from a raucous environment requires sober analysis.
This had all played out in 2024 at Cornell University and had been investigated by both campus police and local authorities. No charges ever came from this investigation…
Now, onto the details.
The victim has two testimonies that are to be examined: the 2024 investigations and the comments made in the new case. There are problems seen when these versions are juxtaposed, but there are also consistent details that can be considered disqualifying regarding the accusations. These are the facts that the victim provides:
She was already heavily inebriated when she went to the frat party.
She went willingly to have sex with one fraternity member, and then agreed to a threesome involving another male.
When her initial date passed out, she agreed to engage in sex with the second partner and a third male.
At some point, a text message went out, leading to seven males being in the room, but after she consented to various participants taking ketamine off of their bodies and hers, the proposed gang sex made her uncomfortable. One of the males compelled most of the others to leave.
After her reticence with the crowd, she willingly went to another room and engaged in another threesome with her original date and the fourth male.”

Don’t forget about Jackie Coakley at UVA who claimed the same thing in 2014. Turns out there wasn’t even a party at the frat on the night she claimed she was assaulted and she made up the story because a guy wouldn’t give her the time of day. Didn’t stop the pitchforks from coming out though.
