Many are saying “Trump coulda or shoulda” or “If Trump woulda” comments. What spare energy or priorities did you see him wasting at any point in this presidential term? Who do you want as president instead of Donald Trump? Are you supporting the MAGA/constitutional platform or tearing it down? Or weakening it by criticizing and undermining the president?
Every conservative person giving negative comments toward Donald Trump needs to do a quick and thorough self assessment of their own character, their own work ethic, their own commitment to this country and to this president. Ask yourself, what projects or activities am I doing myself that are bringing this country in line with the principles of our Creator and the constitution of this republic?
Let us quit worrying about our reputation and be like Marco Rubio — support the man and lay down your life daily alongside him — first for the Lord, then for this great Nation that God has blessed us with through the sacrifice of others.
None of the negative armchair quarterbacks can name one person who could have accomplished what Donald Trump has — at any level. That is not emotion driven speculation — that is reasoned tabulation and reviewing data constantly
Our government is a constitutional republic. We the People have the power. We are not using it. I daresay none of us are using our power and resources for the sake of this country like Donald Trump is.
The signers of the Declaration pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor for this country.
Which one of us here wants to step forward and show a greater commitment to this country by those measures — than Donald J Trump?
I still say our president fights harder and more consistently and tirelessly against 10 times more resistance than any other president. — to a miraculous degree.
If each of us in the 81+ million conservative population of this nation would give one tenth of the effort they spend criticizing him, and put that effort toward helping, then we would have unstoppable growth, morale, and productivity in this nation.

By law, Federal Fire/ Law enforcement personnel retirement age is 57 (It used to be 55). It’s a young mans game. A similar standard for judges and legislators seems necessary.
Why don’t these paid off egomaniacs not know when it’s time to quit? Diane Feinstein same thing. The old fools think they still can do their jobs when in reality their staff does it and we the people get to live with the staff’s decisions. Staff is probably taking orders from the Dem elite who run the show.
Honestly, I have never supported age restrictions on any person who can function well cognitively and physically in their chosen profession, but when obvious ailments show up that reveal impairment that prevents fully being able to do the job properly, relying on others to do it for you, being just a figurehead, then times up and you need to go. McConnell’s time has been up for a couple years now and yet there he is, still the Senator from Kentucky absent for many months, freezing mid speech, unable to answer questions.
Retire Mitch. He’s probably been told to wait until after the midterms to leave once he sees if PTrump still has the majority in one or both houses. They all are playing the same delay game and working against the Trump agenda even though it’s good for Americans to keep that agenda going.
At some point we have to admit that our Politicians are just Puppets for the forces behind them. Having an intellect just gets in the way. Their job is to be the Villiage Idiot in our “It Takes a Village” government, to sign the bills that are placed in front of them.

I have always believed that being in office is their sole reason for living. They would have died earlier had they left office.
You make a very good point. Men I have known that retired early often declined rapidly, especially if they had no hobbies or part time work to keep their minds and bodies busy.
Often times, alcohol consumption accelerated the decline, if it was abused.
I’ll be 74 in two months and I still work as a practicing civil engineer. I figure that keeping the brain agile is just as important as physical exercise.
I suppose I will “retire” eventually. However, I have an associate who is a structural engineer and is still working at 87 years of age.
So, I guess my answer as to whether one should be “aged-out” of any profession really depends on the individual.
Now in my 80s, “retired” at 59, Had to go back to work picking up donations for a local charity, was bored to tears didn’t need to do anything just had to do something. Even today I work occasionally as a superintendent at the condo we live in.
I understand …. I miss the people, they were always glad to see me, and when I left they were happy. Remember God has his arms around you… That’s where I am …

The inmate weighed 300 lbs on intake give or take…185 reportedly at time of death…
Note the inmate that died had lifelong mental illness. He could not advocate for himself. He was fully a ward of the jail with no way to properly defend himself. He was arrested for impersonating law enforcement while knocking on a door, no violence.
The jail killed a mentally disabled man with the mind of a child.
Probably their way of saying we now want to initiate our “no jails and get out of prison free card”.
Because you know?? prisons are inhumane and all need to be shut down.
As a health care professional with experience in corrections at both state and local levels (in IL and other states)…
…am asking…where were the nurses on this one? How big is the jail? How often are inmates seen for annual health assessments? Or that pesky annual TB evaluation or test, done at ‘booking’?
Did this person put in requests to see the nurse or doctor, for ailments? Did the health care people receive his requests? Where they instructed to ignore him?
Surely other inmates made reference about this, to the nurses or med techs? Why was an investigation not done early on?
Did the person have visits? Did family and friends not notice a deterioration over 5 months?
Where the visits done ‘online’ via zoom type visits? Where the video could be altered? Many local jails do this via outside companies specializing in overchanging families and friends, for the ‘privilege’ of a ‘visit’—

Was the jail in compliance with statutes requiring health care access for the incarcerated? If not why not? Which health care for corrections entity, was contracted at this facility?
This one smells so bad, I can smell it all the way to IL…there is far more to the story than this…to say I am oiutraged, is a huge understatement.
Was the water shut off because he was flooding his cell?
Losing 100 lbs in 5 months? Was he on an undeclared hunger strike? If suspected, there are rules that must be followed to prevent the effects of starvation.
While many crimes scream for justice, this abuse is not ok. For examaple, sexual abuse became so rampant that state and local facilities were forced to enact plans and procedures for inmates, (who actually have no control over their situations within a jail or prison)…to follow a pathway where they are ‘protected’ and have abilities to ‘fight’ back….protected at juvi and adult divisions…juvi at least has or allegedly has ‘patents’ to speak out for their ‘kids’….the adult levels are less clear.
I am assuming that this is real and not a hoax.

There is no actual evidence for me to conclude that point other than I have seen this exact scenario throughout my career. The clinician recommending the drug and the clinician certifying her unfitness for work are the same person. Leave certification rests on a diagnosis and a treatment plan.
A patient who is “disabled” enough to be excused from work but is refusing the recommended treatment does not receive a medical leave from work. That pressure exists whether or not any individual intends it, and it operates on every person in this country who needs a form signed by a medical professional who wants them medicated.

It’s okay since I can still pay for my Internet and streaming services. I used Trumps tax break for my vacation so I did save some money. I am sad that egg prices went from $6 to $3 with Trump. My chicken’s eggs don’t bring in as much money now. I’m kind of sad that Illinois only adds $1 to the price of a gallon of gas. I wanted the state to be number 1 in the nation but California beat us again. Oh, well. Maybe the Bears will make up for the loss. When I was going thru bootcamp there was a Saudi company going thru bootcamp too. They kept to themselves, had their own barracks, different chow time and as far as I could tell, did not do any training with American companies.
They did march pretty. High stepping, tight formation, frilly uniforms, they didn’t learn to march that way from us. Since then my impression of the Saudi military is that they are for marching pretty in parades and not for fighting.

My intuition says the IRGC will split and form alliances with the Persians/guerillas against the remaining IRGC who align with the religious leftovers. The Kurds, being the outsiders likely will side with the more secular IRGC/Persians and will fight for their own slice of the pie.
This will happen when the economy gets so bad these groups will be forced to take what the other side has horded. The radicals will NEVER give up and will have to be destroyed before it’s over. Even then, the radical element will threaten any more secular government forcing that government to become oppressive and likely kill many people.
