The interesting part about this interview with Joe DiGenova is that he states:
“There is plenty of evidence” to prosecute.
“There were complaints he was slow rolling the case and getting lost down rabbit holes”.
Then he turns around and states he defended his lack of action with “prosecutions take time to develop” and then describes his efforts that sound like … well … he was slow rolling and lost in a rabbit hole.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.

He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

The U.S. Medical industrial complex is about to FAFO by its own overreach — driven by ever hungry insurance companies.
I know it doesn’t pay for catastrophe’s but your best medical insurance is healthy diet and daily hard work. Sweat every day, do something for 30 minutes that gets you out of breath, and something twice a week that works your muscles to exhaustion.
We must uncouple our money (taxes to medicare/medicaid/VA or employer paid (our labor) insurance premiums) from the insurance companies, and uncouple the insurance companies from the power of health care decision-making.
Yep. I am a believer of major medical insurance as it was called. Insurance covered you for the big stuff. Small things like getting stitches or a yearly checkup you paid yourself. Everyone should own their own plan.
I once cut the side of my hand during a weekend Peeling pumpkin. Not a big cut but it bled like mad. Drove around for a hour looking for a Dr to do stitches. No luck I wasnt going to ED. Back home I elevated my hand, cleaned the wound, Steristripped it then used superglue to close the wound over the steristrips in small dots. Then ordinary sticking plaster over it. Wound healed well.
Well later I googled the use of superglue to close wounds and found it had been used in the Vietnam war to close wounds. Apparently saved many lives. From Superglue, Histoacryl was invented- a wound closing gel adhesive

A savior for soldiers in sticky situations
Even though the glue was discovered during World War II, military doctors during the Vietnam War capitalized on the product’s adhesive properties to save lives.
Many soldiers suffered injuries off-base, often bleeding out before getting proper care. Thanks to Coover’s invention, medics were able to spray super glue directly on skin to stop bleeding until the patient could make it to a hospital for treatment.
“This was very powerful. That’s something I’m very proud of – the number of lives that were saved,” Coover said in an interview with the Kingsport Times-News
I’ve been using super glue for many years to treat lacerations as until recently, medical care was 100+ miles away.
Pressure to stop the bleeding.
Clean and dry the area with alcohol.
Lay gauze across the cut and apply super glue.
Of course, use common sense on what is a minor laceration and what needs professional help.
I carry packets of a product called BleedStop, it comes in different sizes. I have them in my car also.
I have not had occasion to use it, thankfully. It is a starch type powder and as such, should never go bad or expire if the package is intact.
It doesn’t close the wound, but it can keep someone from bleeding out.
There are so many people out there on blood thinners.
I recently bought my husband a styptic pencil for his occasional shaving mishaps. It was hard to find. No luck at drugstores, I had to order from Walmart.
Post Script: whenever I have a minor cut or scrape, I purposely let it bleed for a bit for cleansing. The flow of blood carries away bacteria and other particulates. Thereafter I apply pressure.
There are deep wounds that should not be closed, for proper healing, after bleeding has been stopped. They must be kept open, to heal layer by layer over time, so that oxygen can reach the healing tissue. This is to prevent gangrene.
So not every wound is best treated by closure.
Yes. Me too and this is what I had when medical insurance was becoming an employee benefit. It covered the costs of big hit incidents like pregnancy and surgeries. I believe it was called Major Med in our area. You started to have other choices for more extensive coverage as the years went by and insurance companies began to be locked into all large corporations etc.
There were no deductibles either. For every other type of medical need, I paid out of pocket and the charges reflected that, based on what average wage earners in our location could afford. Doctors set their own charges and pharmacies, who were locally run and owned, did too. It worked well.
I wish there was just a choice for major med policies now for the younger adults at least. They are mostly healthy and don’t need extensive coverage that costs ridiculous amounts but they are set up to be the support structure for the whole system, the ‘funders.’
Major medical had lifetime caps. My ex worked for health insurance company as a claims rep. She came home so mad one day, a young girl who needed a liver transplant was denied because her major medical had run out. She was sent home to die.
Technology has gotten to the point we can do miracles, but miracles have a cost, and everyone with a policy shares in that cost whether you use the insurance or not. 42 years ago I had to decide on life support for a loved ond, the doctor told me even back then, we can keep the body alive for almost ever, but that is not living.
A trusted, missed deceased dr. warned me of this very circumstance decades ago. A very wise trusted friend, saw the truth before I ever did.

My Medicare policy, I picked an HMO for now…denied the cholesterol labs part of my lab work…they paid anyway, but how in this day and age, does that happen? Not that I would take statins if ‘needed’…
Lifestyle change…for most of us, these meds were not intended to be forever.
It is also an intrusively annoying system…at least twice a week, the doctor’s office texts and emails me about a new note in my file…and the insurance company does the same thing. Its like “leave me alone” I am essentially healthy. There is nothing that they need to add.
Stress reduction…stress caused by our dysfunctional work environments that essentially torture the average working man and woman…would go a long way…along with the millenials running them at the middle levels.
I had an Insurance company that said the yearly physical and blood test were covered. I got a bill on the blood test. I questioned it, they told me the blood test was covered, but not the blood draw. I asked how you can do a blood test without a blood draw and questioned it. They finally paid. I think the first refusal is to see if you are stupid enough to pay so they don’t have too, but if pushed they pay.
I also wonder about the clinic breaking down the blood draw from the blood test, shouldn’t that be one charge?

I once read an article about when capitalism starts ‘failing’, everything is charged…the example was airlines and the charge for a bag of peanuts, though.
The contractor companies that do “utilization review” for the insurance companies are often paid a percentage of their denials, even if they eventually pay what they were supposed to pay. The design is to wear us out. It costs a lot of money to sit on hold and talk with someone who can’t understand the situation, then be told you can’t do a peer to peer review unless you go to the web site and make an appointment to talk to the “doctor”, often a retired specialist in another field.
I had no idea about that extra charge percentage related to ‘denials’.

Eat fatty meat. Ruminant meat. Only meat, salt, water. Do that for 90 days. I do what you said above, fast 48 hours once a week and eat my daily one meal a day at noon. I run around like I’m 30. I will be 71 years old in a week.
Fair enough, but where we grew up on Scotlands east coast fish was our mainstay, cod, haddock, crab and sole mainly. As meat was a little more difficult to obtain.
Lobster too, but as bairns we caught them at low tide, boiled them and fed lobster to our rat catching cats.

Tasting a well prepared meal or a beautiful bunch of veggies fresh from picking is beyond my scope to give up. Then there’s chocolate, dark rich. Mmm. I love a good cut of beef, grass fed if I can get it plus other animal proteins.
Yeah, I can do the fasting part sometimes and I do, mostly intermittent daily fasting, but eating like you just described? Not so much. At my age, good food is a real pleasure and I enjoy it, both cooking it and eating it. I am healthy, a good weight and active mentally and physically. I count my blessings on that part. I also take supplements, exercise daily and enjoy the company of others when I want to, but like my alone time too. My biggest health downfall is my sleeping patterns. I’m not a great 8 hours a day of uninterrupted sleep. I am a night owl but get up early for work etc. I actually feel hung over if I sleep 8 hours straight, lol. Such is life for me!
The Medical Industrial Complex and the Insurance Industrial Complex make it really complex for us to get what We pay for and what we deserve.
Good health care is so ‘complex’ even doctors and lawyers just go along to get along.
ALL professions have become ‘Complexes’…..and that leaves the layman to foot their bills while the Governmental Industrial Complex just takes your money by picking your pocket, you earn you pay.

Today, the Navy would be hard-pressed to land a single Marine Expeditionary Brigade. The Marine Corps no longer has tanks or the assault bridging and breaching capability to project and sustain military operations much beyond a narrow beachhead.
The Marines did this to themselves under the direction of a commandant who misinterpreted the emerging nature of war, and the Navy went along with it.
There should be a lesson here for the Biden administration. If things continue the way they are, the only way the Houthi missile and drone threat in the Red Sea can be halted is if the Iranians can convince their surrogates to stop.

Walking toward my operation center, collecting myself. I would spend the next 11 days in the operation center at the PJKK federal building, reading and preparing briefs for the flag officers on that Island. We had been attacked. We were not prepared. We got prepared very quickly and executed quickly what should have happened prior to the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.
this is what 9/11 was for me. A call to duty. The eyes….that is what I remember. “how could this happen” and why does it matter to me? both. I had to step up and recount the history of the time and era and place and literally kick asses into gear to understand the implications and the risks. I would learn there was about 300 people in positions of power, similar to mine albeit mine was at a far lower level of influence of decisions makers who understand what this meant…what could happen next. We were spared.
I still remember that day. What was required to get people motivated and mobilized.
so when I hear that some people “think”, the “reaction’ was unbalanced to the threat…I remind that arm chair judgements are worth less than the air that supports them. always be ready…always be vigilant.
the US has accumulated a great number of enemies far more dangerous than that time. Our military, our people who wear the uniform are MADE ready because the people who understand the dangers of this world, don’t relax…don’t fold under pressure.

Interesting connection to myself in your story. I was living in Arlington VA. My brother called my land line that morning to wake me up and tell me a plane had struck the first tower. We were on the phone and I asked him if he thought I should call our parents in Oahu. He said no this was probably an accident. It was middle of the night in Oahu. Then the second plane hit while we were talking and he said “Ok, call mom and dad”. So I called them, and my dad answered half out of it, and I delivered the news.
My father was the head of the Star Bulleting and Honolulu Advertiser newspapers. After I spoke with my dad, he implemented the emergency procedures to “Wake Up” the newspaper and get everyone to the offices. So strangely enough, my phone call to my dad is indirectly related to bringing the news into Hawaii on 9/11.
I’ll never forget hearing my mom’s panicked voice in the background asking my dad what was going on, since I was calling at around 3am. He told her to turn the TV on and then I heard her start crying. My dad told me to grab some stuff and get as far away from DC as possible. So I did as he said and grabbed my things and headed to my sisters work to make sure she was ok, and then to a friends place in Patriot Village dorms at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. From there about 30 of us sat and watched everything unfold all day long. I will never forget a single minute of that day. Life as we knew it had changed and has never been the same since.

Ukrainian lawmaker Yaroslav Zhelezniak estimates legalization could bring around $25 million annually into the government’s coffers, enough, he claims, to purchase up to 30,000 drones. The legislation has already passed its first reading in parliament and awaits further consideration.
Zelensky has agreed that parliament should consider the proposal after a petition supporting reform attracted more than 25,000 signatures.
The situation is even more outrageous because the government created this absurdity itself. Producing and distributing pornography remains illegal in Ukraine and can carry years in prison, yet tax authorities began demanding money from Ukrainians earning income through adult platforms. Pay the taxes and you effectively provide the government with evidence that you participated in an activity it criminalized. Refuse to pay and they can prosecute you for tax evasion. Zhelezniak himself described it as a “tragicomic situation.”

Agree with you 1,000% and I too have no party affiliation since 2015. I also worry about the country post-President Trump. The one positive thing is that the left have gone off the deep end with all of the socialist communist garbage that even the most staunch Democrats are leaving the party.
There are reasons to be hopeful.
My take away is to live my best life. Be a good example to my children and grandchildren. Help them as much as I am able to keep my grandkids out of the garbage known as the public school system. And most importantly, pray the Rosary every day.
