Very interesting timing, regarding President Trump’s blocking Bombardier airplanes in the latest tit-for-tat with Canada. In this morning’s Federal Register is a four page PDF Air Worthiness Directive (the FAA under the Dept of Transportation sends out notices of critical maintenance issues regarding airplanes) on Bombardier airplanes – fuel leakage issues near rib 6 so inspections need to be undertaken immediately.

Makes a person wonder, has Sec. Duffy been giving President Trump insights of upcoming actual issues and President Trump sees the opportunity to tweak that little Canadian ego just a touch more, knowing this is a serious issue that needs to be addressed in its own right so why not do something to keep Carney hopping mad, such as in ‘we do a little trolling’ ?
Regardless of tariffs, Canada was simply refusing to certify Gulfstreams in Canada. Excluding them from the Canadian market. So, all is fair with this one.
