Hopefully this will be a lesson to multiple people, including President Donald Trump. There is no room for softness on the topic of deporting illegal aliens.
In one of the biggest examples of a mistake in Republican campaigning, three weeks before the primary election Minnesota Governor candidate Mike Lindell made the fatal mistake of advocating for greater leniency for illegal aliens, with inferred amnesty in his immigration platform. The backlash was fierce, righteous and directly targeted. Lindell was blasted.
Last night, despite the support and endorsement from President Trump, Lindell was resoundingly defeated by Lisa Demuth, the speaker of the Minnesota House.

I have to say that this news neither surprises me nor disappoints me! Mike Lindell has been a loose cannon for a long time and he is, unfortunately, a poor speaker with a history of making claims he then cannot back up with facts. I think President Trump is probably happy to see him out of the race, TBH!
So, my question now, for those in Minnesota, what do we know about Lisa Demuth? Does she have a chance to win? Can’t imagine anyone could be worse than Tampon Tim but one never knows…
Demuth is the selected loser for the Tuxedo Underdogs, the team that is always this close to power if only we send more money. She pledged to abide by the endorsement (which then went to Qualls), then the rino chairman declared that the pledges are not binding this time.
She’s the selected candidate to raise money and lose this cycle. And if by some fluke she can’t manage to lose she’ll still never use any power thrust into her hands because if she used it then the people will never elect her again.

This shows exactly why these “national polls” are bogus. They had him ahead by 8-10% over Demuth just ahead of the Trump endorsement.
I think everyone on the GOP side in Minnesota wasn’t remotely surprised.

Lindell was cooked no matter what he said … 21% of the vote sucked away just like that.
There was only a 22.7% Turn out for the primary … low enough for RNC-MINN to play games.
Was this also a major factor, again no matter what Lindell said??
Qualls is probably the best actual person for the job, but was never ever going to win. He is not establishment and cannot self-fund and has no big name recognition. Tuxedo Underdog Inc. was all in to keep him from office.
I get where all the amnesty people are coming from, they believe (and I’m sure there is) the people here to just work, but the problem is with all the government assistance and criminal thug fraud.
I believe the solution is to announce a 3-month/6-month window where by you do the following:
You need to incentivize divulging the information, leaving and returning on good standing or lose any future benefit. Everyone hired by an employer should be subjected to FICA taxes (if you aren’t a citizen you can’t collect) or no one should have to.
I’m sick over the mass anchor baby theft of my country.
If anyone comes in – for any period of time, ten days or ten years – it should be under a probationary ambassadorial type status to cut off that possibility.
Or, you know, these employers could hire Americans.
Also end dual citizenship. The illegal parents will have to be deported and at that point they can leave the baby here for adoption, or relinquish that baby’s citizenship rights in America so he /she can be a citizen in his own country

Many years ago, until the late 19th century, before the centralization of the federal government until the Lincoln administration and the killing-off of federalism, it was the states that oversaw immigration, and, therefore, more localized oversight and higher accountability about an issue to constituents.
The process involved required an American citizen to vouch-safe for someone wanting to immigrate to America and become a citizen and put up a bond for such a person. If the person failed to uphold their end of the deal for any reason, the bond was forfeited. The system worked much better when the states ran it, per the 10th amendment. I don’t see any good, sound reason America couldn’t return to such a system, or something similar. Let the incentive of having some skin in the game/something to lose come into play when it comes to legal immigration and undesirables will be quickly sorted out naturally. You vouch-safe for a criminal or other type of undesirable? You lose the bond money you put up.
I understand what you’re trying to do.
And really, in a different time and place… it might make sense.
But honestly… ANY of those proposals – if offered in

Look at the count of Democrats versus Republicans in Minnesota. It doesn’t matter who the Republican nominee is in that state. Fortunately Mr Lindell just destroyed his reputation with conservatives.

A man who is – as we all are – flawed, but has been a vocal and active supporter of the President and his programs.
This was an ‘own goal’.
I bet he employed many, many illegals in his factory and developed close familial like relationships with some of them. Consequently, he didn’t want to deport them. Maybe he lost on purpose.
And maybe the left were waiting to use that info for when the time is right.
