A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.
The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

On a positive note, IMHO, Robert Kennedy Jr. has been one of the absolute best appointments to a federal level cabinet position that any administration could have. I am no friend of big government but if forced to accept it this guy deserves a place and unlimited support.

Another counter-narrative piece of news, which suggests that: heavy artillery is still the most effective way of getting steel on target, that the Russian artillery is far more effective than the ‘analysts’ claim and that Ukraine is struggling to deal with the drone counter measures that the Russians have been steadily deploying.
As for the numbers of munitions. It’s approximately a bit over a month’s worth, so PR for the layman that sounds impressive but is suggestive of real operational problems that drones are incapable of solving, as substitutes for the heavy stuff.
Ukraine is just another revolution of the weapon cycle that has perpetually revolved ever since man picked up objects to hunt with. There’s the initial scepticism, then growing interest, then the hyperbolic phase, before reality intrudes, or hubris is followed by a brutal visitation by nemesis. Usually the former follows the latter, during conflicts.
We need a serious revamping of procurement.
Freedom’s Forge is a great book describing how we began ramping up production in 1940. We had failed to produce weapons for our soldiers starting in 1917. So we began the lengthy process before the war drug us in. You have to tool up factories, set up production lines, hire and train people, all sorts of stuff.
For a very long time, the military claimed they could fight two wars at the same time. This requires ramping up production without a two year delay.
Then we wussed out to fight 1 war while holding the other enemy at bay. Then we proclaimed we would never have to fight a real war again, just eternal police actions.
And meanwhile, our military suppliers refused to be able to ramp up production at all.
And Ukraine came along, blowing through our stockpiles, proving that we can’t supply enough basic weapons for a normal war, even after doubling production.
That is the main reason Ukraine needed to fight with drones. We, all of NATO, could not keep up with Russian weapon production.
We need a serious rethink on weapons procurement, and we need it fast. If war happens with either Russia or China, we will fail because we can’t manufacture enough weapons.
Interesting…when the Pentagon allows the defense contractors to dictate what type of arms they produce, there are always issues. It’s money. PERIOD.
The Pentagon/DoW SHOULD be listening to the men in the armed forces as to what needs to be produced. To date, drones have, very effectively and very quickly, changed the dynamic of warfare. What defensive armaments do we have against drones?
A major hidden cost in Department of War Contracts through about 1980 were left over “Production Surge Requirements” left over from WWII, Korean War and Vietnam War.
These requirements required a combination of physical assets and via plans to put into service physical assets to surge to Vietnam era level production rates. The requirements also added to real costs and overhead costs for contractors.
After nearly 25 years of NOT NEEDING these high levels of Production Capacity, the Surge Requirements were heavily reduced in new contracts and rewritten old Contracts .. to save costs and resources.
The between the high rate weapons GIVE-AWAYS to the Ukraine over the past 6 years and extremely high usage rates among a very small category of munitions vs Iran.
This is an understandable situation and the fact the Contractors involved are being called in to prioritize production is a smart move.
The crappy part is that “somebody” in the Department of War and Contractor Organizations are leaking these types of stories as they are just another enabler supporting Iran and their Sugar Daddies.
These types of stories are nothing more than click bait to spin up the MIC Loonies who have zero concept of what it means to design, develop and produce materials for the Department of War.
Just like every commercial and related to government business there are rotten scoundrels who need to be hung … then again do you want our soldiers, sailors and marines to defend us with sticks and clubs or the right stuff.
In 1984, I recall working in one of our older facilities (as the newby engineer) and having to actually inventory as well as “assess” the “usability” of production tooling STORED in our facility to comply with SURGE REQUIREMENTS. Those tools were not disposed of until about 2000 and had been put in place in 1975.
My employer had to store, test and sustain the tooling for over 25 years. The tools were purchases based on DoD modified WWII surge requirements … and assessed against loss rates in the 1973 Arab Israeli War. At the time the US was still staring guarding NATO borders vs the massive USSR Eastern European deployed forces.

PCR testing for Covid was always listed as suspect for Covid testing, even by its inventor. The crime was the govt made it out to be reliable and must be used.
At my work, they let those of us who refused the shots to keep working but we had to be PCR tested every week if we wanted to work. They provided the tests and people to administer them. It was a joke. I did it mostly for the amusement and it was so so easy to cheat on them because they let us swab our own noses and really didn’t even watch us do it. Waste of money but I wanted to keep working and see how long they would play this game. We all knew the PCR tests were bogus. If you tested positive you got 5 days off with sick pay. Can you imagine how much that cost employers and taxpayers? Depending on a test that gave bogus results? I work for a school system so it was public money. The state provided the schools systems with money to do this I believe, so yeah, real tax dollars wasted again.
Covid cost this country billions overall when you look at how much money was wasted. I never had the shots, never had Covid during the pandemic (but did have it in 2024 I think based on losing smell and taste for a couple days), kept working with the kids daily and got my tests done weekly.
The FDA, at the time, even decertified PCR Kits … and those same kits were still used to test people (because of “shortages”) and the results used to prolong the shamdemic.

I had posted last week about primary voting in Wisconsin, which is Tues 8/11/26. Voters don’t declare a party here, so you can request either dem or rep ballot in primaries. Note, this is different from ‘jungle’ primary, which California created. Here, there will be a winner for each party. It’s just that the voters can ‘crossover’ because we don’t actually declare our party. I think I’m going to vote for Hong on Tues. Noone is running against the Rep, Tom Tiffany. It seems the Dems don’t really want Hong to win, as she is toxic with her Thanksgiving comments and just seems dumb when interviewed. I heard about Abdul’s past video comments that he hated visiting Mackinac Island, MI. And that coverage is including how polls are showing him as losing to Mike Rogers. Someone here posted that DOJ was watching the big city (Detroit) polling places, and that’s why he couldn’t cheat the double-digit win that was predicted. I noticed they waited to ‘call the race’ just when he had a 1-pt lead over Haley Stevens, even though it took overnight to get there.

Update(2210ET): Iran’s state Mehr has purported to release video of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei for the ‘first time’ since the start of the war, and since he was wounded in a US-Israeli airstrike in the opening days of the attacks of over five months ago. The state-released footage is titled “First Images of the Leader” – and shows the Ayatollah addressing students, after months of speculation over his status, or whether he is even alive. He has not been seen or heard from directly since the war began, amid conflicting reports and accounts. The video has no date or location given. It appears to be in response to recent Israeli media reports alleging his deteriorating health.
However, analysts – as well as social media users in Iran – were quick to identify the footage as old material from his past lectures in Qom. This has in turn resulted in accusations of a cover-up, and that Tehran is in damage control concerning his status. For example, one hawkish US-based think tank researcher and pundit, Jason Brodsky, has commented on the released footage as follows:

Having 20 years experience in engineering as a designer, I am very skeptical of this mainly because engineers need failure to learn and I hope these bridges aren’t that. There are so many things about design that are not taught but acquired by working with material suppliers, construction crews, prototype makers, and failure.
Elon Musk has expressed this concept when his rockets fail and blow up. He calls it “rapid unscheduled disassembly”. He calls the concept “fail fast, learn fast”. It’s great they get out in the real world and help but let’s hope there are mentors or engineering checkers doing a good job.
Modern tools for simulation, a sponsoring instructor who is undoubtedly overseeing their work, and bridges which are short span single vehicle bridges over creeks and river beds. They are quite real.
