After a controversial leak investigation, which included New York DOJ subpoenas to collaborating journalists, it appears the Dept of War has identified the source of the Airforce One security compromise, former Secretary of the Airforce, Frank Kendall.
Disgraced former Biden appointee and staunch activist democrat Frank Kendall has now lost his security clearance, and his nongovernmental career as a contractor, consultant and lobbyist within the area of military procurement. Kendall can no longer hold any sensitive position in the private sector that touches on Pentagon programs.
(Via Dept of War via X) – Effective immediately, the Department of War has REVOKED former Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall’s eligibility for access to classified information and his ability to hold any sensitive position.
This action follows his unauthorized disclosure of classified information regarding Air Force One’s capabilities to a media outlet.
Safeguarding classified information is a non-negotiable duty. Those who violate that trust forfeit the privilege of access and any role requiring it. (source)
This type of duplicitous scheming is one of the reasons why DC didn’t want Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth. DC wanted someone they could count on to undermine President Trump.

I know there can be a useful side of this but having someone with a security clearance that retires from the military and then uses that for monetary gain in the civilian sector is an iffy proposition. The bad actors make the good guys look bad as well.
The ideal solution would be to not have a standing army. Without a standing army, there would be no military-industrial complex and no need for post-service security clearances.
If only our Founding Fathers had had the foresight to take measures against a standing army.
One of the prime directives of the federal government is the defense of the nation.
You can’t be the reserve currency of the world with a 40T Debt without having the strongest military in the world.
But did the Founding Fathers want the dollar to be the reserve currency of the world?
Or is that yet another feature of the US/UK alliance, which the Founders definitely never wanted.
“not have a standing army”
The founding father’s had no idea in the technological advances in military warfare that would occur. It takes time to learn and to train with this complex and specialized equipment. Nuclear powered submarines are a prime example.
The United States has always understood the need to maintain a permanent navy. No one is disputing that.
We have also always understood the need for a military system with a cadre of trained, professional officers. No one is disputing that either.
Your point about complex and specialized equipment is a valid one. However, the Founders envisioned a nation without a strong, centralized, and large military system controlled by the Federal government.
There is a difference between having a population with military training and experience, and having a large standing military. My personal view is that we’d better off if more Americans had military training in all branches of service, but if there were less Americans actively serving in the military at any given time. And this includes training and experience in related industries such as shipbuilding and manufacturing.
Since the end of World War Two, when the US shifted towards a philosophy of deterrence through maintaining a large standing force, the only military conflict we have decisively won was Gulf War #1. That record suggests such a policy, while perhaps necessary to a degree, is not as effective as the system which existed beforehand.
A lot has changed since the days of travel by ship and horse. Today, threats can be at our door in minutes, not months. World War II really made the difference. You explanation just does not hold up today. You could have made your case a hundred and fifty years ago, but not now. Please think about it.
GEE, you mean like a militia?!?!
non sequitur.
the only reason for indecisive military action is … WILL
With a strong military, winning wars is a political choice.
So you think it’s better to have a jack of all trades, but master of none type civilian military? How are you going to assemble all these Jack’s into quick action when needed? China would love this. It would be like a constant Pearl Harbour, without anyone on base.
Agree with the one point about military service. I believe that mandatory military service for 1 or 2 years is an opportunity to acquire skills, be part of something larger than yourself, be a part of doing good, see the world (maybe just other states but still worlds apart sometimes,) acquire a better understanding of how things work in this country and a better self understanding prior to making an education commitment. I would hope that the experience would be unifying for the nation – I could be wrong on this last point but I think it’s worth a try.
If our Founding Fathers DIDN’T have a standing army, we would still be British subjects.
Get a grip, for crying out loud.
“Always remember that an armed and trained militia is the firmest bulwark of republics—that without standing armies their liberty can never be in danger, nor with large ones safe.” -James Madison
“Standing armies are dangerous to liberty.” -Alexander Hamilton
“I will now add what I do not like. First, the omission of a bill of rights, providing clearly, and without the aid of sophism, for freedom of religion, freedom of the press, protection against standing armies, restriction of monopolies, the eternal and unremitting force of the habeas corpus laws, and trials by jury, in all matters of fact triable by the law of the land, and not by the laws of nations.” -Thomas Jefferson
There is a difference between having a military, and having a standing army.
yeeeah, the difference between being ready and getting caught with your pants down🙄🤭
This is definitely a debate worth having, especially now that the nation has 250 years of history, experience, not only within our own shores but on the international level – so a time to remember, learn from, and then take that what is known and then adjust, eliminate, incorporate new approaches to establish the foundation for the next 250 years.
Agreeing with myself, now is not the time to remain in a black and white world but to recognize there are many gray areas that need to be considered – for a nation to thrive it must incorporate from the past while making room for the new, otherwise it just becomes a nice bureacracy that does nothing but work to find ways to justify its own existence (which is what it looks like former Sec. of Air Force Kendall believed he was doing).
The War of 1812 would have been the end of the United States without a standing army.
Or we would be German subjects speaking German!
HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! That is the funniest, most hilarious, tongue-in-cheek comment I have heard in YEARS! Hat’s-off to you for a cleverly baited hook.
Continued Happy 250th Birthday to you and all American Patriots…………
What would you propose, unicorns or fairy godmothers to protect our nation?
I addressed this in another reply.
I dont mind having a standing army. But I am sure they would have tto sit down or lay down sometime. And how about the rest of the armed forces? The Air Force pilots have to sit to fly their jets. Our Founding Fathers surely didnt know that the jet planes were sit down only.
emphasis on, IDEAL.
no one should have a standing army, okayyy, … you go first 🙄🤭
There would also be no America
This must be satire
Actually this is what the DSA members for communism are proposing.
And yet the founding fathers never got rid of the standing army, because if they would have there would not be a United States. The United States Army has been standing continuously since one year before there was a United States. Even when the Atlantic was a 3,000 mile wide moat, we still had to be prepared to defend ourselves, let alone today when total destruction is only a half hour away.
The founding fathers understood the dangers of a standing army, but they also understood that dangers of not having one.
You’re kidding, right Keller?
Otherwise, that is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.
Of course, we were warned about the MIC and if you didn’t have a standing army, you’d STILL have one. They’d just be supplying all the fractions that would be infighting. We’d be like a lot of African countries.
You wouldn’t be a country without one. The federal government is only there for a few things, one of them is national security. Our federal government is FAR OVERREACHING and most of it can and should be shutdown. But, the military is NOT one of those departments.
What’s needed is strong oversight, good people in government, term limits—no professional politicians (or families in politics) and most importantly—jail time for corrupt politicians.
The founding fathers had the foresight NOT to DO WHAT you are suggesting because they knew a country needs to defend itself.
Not to be rude, but that is not a well thought out statement. Where would the US have been circa Pearl Harbor w/o a standing military?????
They used a standing army to put down the Whisky Rebellion in President Washington’s first term. Not having a standing army simply isn’t possible.
John thank you.
Could you explain to this foreigner how this security clearance thingy works.
If any Tom Dick or Carrie who works for the Tax payer/Government gets this clearance is it for life – like your supreme court judges.
Or does it expire with a change or regime?
For instance do all those persecutors of President Trump during his first spell, still have it?
I had a security clearance through the company that I worked for at the time, which expired after 10 years. There was no need to renew it after the 10 year period.
When in and about DC I was introduced to a phenomenon known as the “Captains Club”. The club describes persons working at the pentagon or elsewhere who failed to secure a promotion at a certain career level and mustered out, directly into a civilian position in government or contracting within the swamp without missing a paycheck.
3-2-1…….MSNOW will have a fresh Trump traitor to play victim to their 200 thousand watchers nationwide.
That many?? Take out Starbucks it would be half that
Maybe if their clearances are pulled when they leave service this Crap won’t happen!
Nicolle Wallace was ranting up a storm crying that the hunt for the leaker was some kind of attack on the free press or something. Funny she didn’t mention he was caught on her propaganda program today.
She is a disgrace to the free press, an absolute Obamanation!
The old ways no longer work. Legal rules need to change, immediately. Understand reasoning behind the rules. Our govt. is the biggest joke in today’s time. Retired security needs to cease. The days of trust are far forgotten.
Prison
Gallows.
Treasonous prick.
Hang him for TREASON immediately!
At the very least put in Gitmo and strip of all his pensions.
Kendall’s reporeted leak may be just the tip of his iceburg and even as a stand-alone is worse than anything Snowden ever did.
You have to think: motive, intent and reward.
and his clothes. Embarrass him with his own nakedness.
like this?,
if they have enough for this action, they have enough for a trial.
They call it The Deep State for a reason. We are at war from within.
I call it the Deep and Wide State for a reason!
But will he be prosecuted?????
I’m actually amazed, impressed, and very happy that he was caught, and at least his career is over and reputation tarnished.
No these traitors are never prosecuted, that is why they continue to do what they do.
In my day we called the the “Rolodex Rangers”,senior post career guys who knew a lot of senior DoD people who would answer their call, and got hired by contractors on the basis of that alone. They had a shelf-life of about 1.5 years until the access dried up, but some did actual work after they got hired and kept the pipeline open. Given the genuine threats against Trump, talking about AF-1 defensive weaknesses should be a flat out decades=long Leavenworth address!
Judge Boseburge will rule to give him his security clearance back.
As it should be
Trolling down the “bayou” You mistyped MS-NOW
Actually it’s BS NOW.
I would like to know why he did what he did.
Can someone other than Kendall offer a concise explanation of how he justified his own actions?
TDS?
…hoping to endanger the president?…
$$$$$$$
Hand slapped with a wet noodle.
Sedition inside the beltway is so common it is like littering.
All security clearances should be ended when you leave the government. It’s ridiculous they keep these clearances so they can get jobs with defense contractors and think tanks. All theses people do is undermine the incoming administration of the opposition party.
Yes end the security clearances.
How much does each security clearance cost?
Peacetime military leadership in DC has always been a duplicitous cocktail party of butt-kissing and ring-kissing.
[see George C. Marshall’s 1941 Army “plucking board”]
Butt+Ring = Culo
Where Mexican lettuce explodes from.
That is what they open-mouth kiss in DC.

Whoopie…. That’s it? Where’s the real accountability?
Every person that had been exchanging text messages with Mr Kendall is now wondering if they’re also under investigation. Kendall is now radioactive.
Yep they hunted down J6’ers for far less…
Revoking his security clearance is NOT enough. This amounts to espionage and treason against the US. It’s people. His hatred of Trump, has been well documented by his public writings, has put our National Security is at risk.
NO more hand slaps!!!!
This was the first thought to enter my mind. Curious that more did not think this way? Maybe I am just ignorant.
Yep. Anyone who has been in the military will remember the first night of boot camp when the UCMJ was clearly taught.
Awful and sad he betrayed his country, awful and sad nothing will come of it. They never go away, he might take some heat but all will be honky dory for him, they protect their own.
Now find the ones who keep leaking the president’s travel plans to would be assassins.
Hang him for treason
He knew what he was doing, and the leak could have caused our president to be assassinated
Hang the MFer
🤦🏻♀️ There should be absolutely no one left anywhere from Biden/Obama or Obama/Biden! Every last one should be gone!! 💁🏻♀️ Guaranteed every one is a traitor!!
So….are they also going to prosecute him?
Good riddance to bad trash. Scumbag.
When will Americans begin to embrace the nature of the word “treason?”
That, and the consequences and ramifications of treason….
We can make believe that no other country would attack us if we cut back our readiness and military spending, but the reality is that we are the number one target in the world. If the next war is precipitated by a first strike nuclear attack then everyone will go to war with what they have at that time because their won’t be time or opportunity to build up for a long war, that is a thing of the past. In the event of a nuclear war the losers and winners will be decided in 24-72 hours.
Attach this dude to an Ukrainian drone.
FINALLY someone is punished!
If I had done it, I would have been court-martialed. Just sayin’.
Can anyone ‘splain to me why every single Bush, Obama and Biden appointee who is no longer employed by the Federal government, can’t have their security clearance revoked?
Is there some sort of just cause that must be shown?
If the President can just do it, then please, sir, JUST DO IT!
Why except the former pres I dents?
hmmm…
I’m with you on this Maw. The leaks included munitions availability. The man leaked probably much more than AF1 safety.
Why was he receiving this sort of material in the first place? And who was giving it to him?
Am I the only one thinking this is not a new thing to this guy? Not his first rodeo, and over how many years, decades even?
The Founders would send this traitor to the gallows. No question.
Yes, the next morning.
Trump needs to concentrate on boot stomping Congress. Everything else will follow.
Pull out the LBJ playbook.
Pull out the Godfather playbook.
Get a war time consigliere and ditch the witch.
The guy should be going to prison! He put the Presidents life and everyone that would have been onboard at risk.
Matter of fact brought before military tribunal. Way past time to get serious about this treason.
Until these DS actors who commit treason start going to prison, nothing will change.
JMO.
Treasonous Leaker Identified – Former Secretary of Airforce, Frank Kendall
Frank Kendall is no H.F. Miller.
You see, General H.F. Miller was canned by General Ike for being guilty of “loose lips sink ships” …… the WWII effort to warm patriots that their casual, unguarded, conversations about military actives could lead to military deaths.
Nope, Kendall is guilty of purposely divulging vital information directly to the enemy, that would be the treasonous media and their foreign agents, that could harm the CIC, President Trump.
He not only should loose his security clearance ….. he should be prosecuted, tried and be sentenced as a treasonous, war-time traitor.
He deserves to receive the maximum sentence not only for his treasonous act but also as a deterrent to other traitors: past, present and “thinking about it.”
MAGA / America First isn’t just our motto, it is our duty!
General Henry J.F. Miller
The Loose Lips That Sank a General’s Career
Henry J. F. Miller was a Major General in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, known for leaking the date of the Normandy invasion, which led to his demotion.
He put President Trump’s life in danger. The punishment requires more than losing your security clearance.
Once you leave government or military positions, I don’t understand why you should continue to have security clearance, other than personal monetary gain.
The guy should get 10 years under the Espionage Act but that costs too much political capital.
GEOTUS doing the same thing that drove us nuts the first time: Don’t leave enemies able to fight! Ah well, that’s why he’s GEOTUS. Trust in Trump.
Remember, savor every day. Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero. ~Roman Boomer
former secretary of air force
(presuming) he is a former military officer.
had clearance AND a need to know…(the second part remains questionable…I will make that part more clear below.
would have had to AT LEAST signed and be required to review classified materials handling rules and regulations and understand legal penalties for violating secrecy laws.
with that the expectation is that he will be charged with a criminal offense…and a serious one.
there would be five parts to this charge/finding
a. that he did in fact share classified information about a national security interest.
b. but did he have a need to know. In other words, did he steal it? How did he have this information in his possession? this part would raise the enhancement of the penalty during trial.
c. did he attempt to conceal his crime? Another factor of enhancement.
d. Did he receive any form of compensation, not just money in return for giving this classified information to the “reporter”…was there anyone else involved, a cutout?
e. Was this information given physically, or verbally or recreated in another form. In other words, was this classified information a copy a pseudo copy or the actual original and master?
so these are the standard issues that classmat investigators would normally attempt to resolve ….and not simply to form an investigation and start the process of charging him with a crime, but also to learn how this was possible. National Security Secrecy and Secrecy Material Protection is not a passive institution…it is very much active.. In other words, this was a breach of a very well protected system. That makes it a violation EVEN IF IT WAS NEVER SHARED. Simply gaining this kind of access, and talking about it, even casually informally WITH ANYONE would immediately be reason to begin an investigation to determine if the system was being actively exploited…there could be others. (likewise, it would provide an opportunity to start any number of counter intelligence operations).
so the question is pretty straight forward:
when can we expect to see him charged with a serious crime?
God Bless America
Why No Charges or Arrest?????
How about revoking his rank, more importantly, his pension?
One of the many reasons our government is a convoluted mess is the extension of security clearances for employees whose employment has been voluntarily terminated. Why would any rational government do this? Because over the years, 250 to be exact, it has fashioned a never ending spigot of “unusual privileges” to continually line their pockets and benefit from at the expense of the nation and its citizens. It’s a big club and we ain’t in it.
Make an example out of the guy, 5 years at Gitmo
Why wasn’t he immediately arrested with a perp walk all over media?
Let us hope that is only the beginning of the affair. Those who leaked and reported should be held for sabotage as not only did they endanger the president but also any on the plane. They should be prosecuted.
Democrats are not only threats to national security & the American Republic, but they are a threat to Civilization itself. They have become Isane in their push for Totalitarian POWER!
It is dangerous that political ideology can enter into the highest military ranks. Since that is the case, I believe it would behoove the President to review all upper echelon appointments made by Obama or Biden and replace them.
