“This week, Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared before Congress and, on the advice of his attorney, repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment rather than answering many of the senators’ questions.
Everyone is talking about what he did or didn’t know, whether he misled Congress, whether he should have answered the questions, and whether he should be held accountable.
But that wasn’t the moment from this week that I can’t stop thinking about.
My husband called me as he was driving home from picking up grain for the hogs. He had stopped at Restaurant Depot to grab pizza boxes and a few supplies for the ranch. Rarely does he pay attention to American politics. Rarely is he interested in the stories that consume me.
He simply asked, “What’s going on with Fauci?”
I explained that he had spent much of the hearing invoking the Fifth Amendment rather than answering senators’ questions.
There was a long pause.
Then he asked me something that caught me completely off guard.
“Is anybody ever going to say, ‘I’m sorry. I was wrong. It cost you and your family everything?”
I had to choke back tears because no—nobody has ever said that to us.”

We accepted the closure of our churches.
We accepted the destruction of small businesses.
We accepted keeping children out of school.
We accepted that bureaucrats knew better than families, business owners, pastors, physicians, and neighbors.
I believe we knew remarkably early that COVID-19 posed overwhelmingly different levels of risk depending on age and overall health. I believe we knew that respiratory viruses are ultimately resolved through herd immunity. We knew children and healthy adults were at extraordinarily low risk compared with the elderly and those with serious underlying health conditions.
Yet instead of allowing the conversation to evolve as the evidence accumulated, fear became the dominant force. Questioning the policies often became more unacceptable than questioning whether the policies were actually working.
This wasn’t simply one man’s failure.
It was a national failure.”
It was an organized fear campaign.
It was a drive to force us into compliance with nonsense and with harmful abuse.
It was an attempt to grab total control of our lives.
And it was preplanned.
And no, they will never say that they are sorry. Not to us. And not to each other for failing to assert total dominance over us.
They just keep coming back to push the control items they failed to assert.
Even those they successfully brainwashed are never going to say they are sorry. They will just keep hating on anybody who resisted. And they will keep trying to force the next abuse on the rest of us.
Can you imagine if Fauci had apologized? Or if the MSM had published his lies far and wide? The brainwashing would break. People would realize the horrible things they did in the name of The Science. The abuse would stop. And the abusers would be punished.
Never going to happen. Abusers never say they are sorry unless they have to and that is never meant. They always blame the victims. And they never stop abusing.

My failure and every other patriot’s failure was to let our God given and Constitutionally guaranteed rights be trampled into the dust. In the Bash interview of Kennedy she asked what needs to happen to avoid a future pandemic calamity and one of his answers was to maintain our rights and to listen to the front line providers for solutions instead of stomping upon freedom of speech……and freedom of assembly and freedom of religion and the pursuit of happiness (business).
If you had asked me before Covid would Americans put up with the trespass of our rights and individual freedom I would have answered no of course not, couldn’t happen, the American spirit is stronger than that.

COMMENTARY FOR 2 CORINTHIANS 5
The apostle’s hope and desire of heavenly glory. (1-8) This excited to diligence. The reasons of his being affected with zeal for the Corinthians. (9-15) The necessity of regeneration, and of reconciliation with God through Christ. (16-21)
16-21 The renewed man acts upon new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in new company. The believer is created anew; his heart is not merely set right, but a new heart is given him. He is the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus unto good works. Though the same as a man, he is changed in his character and conduct. These words must and do mean more than an outward reformation. The man who formerly saw no beauty in the Saviour that he should desire him, now loves him above all things. The heart of the unregenerate is filled with enmity against God, and God is justly offended with him. Yet there may be reconciliation. Our offended God has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ. By the inspiration of God, the Scriptures were written, which are the word of reconciliation; showing that peace has been made by the cross, and how we may be interested therein. Though God cannot lose by the quarrel, nor gain by the peace, yet he beseeches sinners to lay aside their enmity, and accept the salvation he offers. Christ knew no sin. He was made Sin; not a sinner, but Sin, a Sin-offering, a Sacrifice for sin. The end and design of all this was, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him, might be justified freely by the grace of God through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

My GrandGirl took in a stray last year… it took about 4 months of looking for her owners without success to re-home this *energetic* beast.
Yesterday the lady who took her about 6 months ago brought her by for a visit & showed us her DNA results… one of the 3 most prominent breeds is Malinois; Shepherd & Husky are the other 2. That Malinois bit is a lotta dog.
No wonder the owners kept a low profine. 😬
