From independent reporting on the ground, CTH has established an upscale Italian dining restaurant in Moscow, Balzi Rossi, was hosting a private dining event (at least in most of the facility) when a female Ukrainian terrorist attempted to gain entry carrying a bomb.
The woman terrorist was intercepted by a security member and denied entry to the facility; however, during the stop the woman detonated the IED which was filled with nails and ball bearings. The bomber and the security guard were killed instantly as well as one of the people attending the venue.
Dozens more people were injured by the shrapnel, nails and ball bearings. The security guard is being heralded as a hero for stopping what would have been a much more deadly attack. Reports are now beginning to surface on western media outlets.
MOSCOW – A bomb detonated at a restaurant Saturday in central Moscow killing at least three people, including the bomber, Russian state media said, citing local officials.
At least 21 people were also injured when the explosive device detonated at the restaurant on Kudrinskaya Square in Moscow, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee said, quoted by Russian state news agency RIA Novosti.
An unidentified woman who attempted to carry the explosive device into the restaurant died in the blast as did a security guard and a patron, the news agency said.
Ria Novosti reported the woman attempted to smuggle the bomb into the establishment but the security guard refused to let her in before the bomb exploded.
The attack was still being investigated, the Moscow Investigative Committee told the news agency. (more)
Ukraine has been using female terrorists to carry bombs targeting Russians for several years. However, the target of this specific bombing in Moscow is not yet identified.
In April 2023, a Ukraine woman carried a bomb into a café in Saint Petersburg, Russia, killing military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. More recently on June 29th in Monaco Ukrainian terrorist Anastasiia Berezovska, working for Ukraine intelligence, used a parcel bomb to target Vadym Iermolaiev.
The attack today follows a similar pattern.

I despise terrorist attacks on civilian targets to instill terror and condemn any government which uses this strategy. An attack on a military or political target which is oblivious to civilian casualties is a much less clear cut. Obviously dropping a bomb on a city and causing 50,000 deaths was unimaginably horrendous act and the later leaving the crew of the Indianapolis without making any effort to rescue them for days because it might have revealed to the Japanese that we read their encrypted messages was in much smaller and an act of omission rather than commission was abhorrent. Remember that anyone with a Ukrainian flag in front of their house or on their rear bumper either knowingly supports suicide bombings, or is so clueless and checked they have no idea they support suicide bombings

Assassinations are happening more often by Ukrainians…and now we have orders to provide Patriots cause the little man knows where they are and which countries have them.
The little man is getting access to more `information’ about all the countries that have tried to help support him. Its time to take a look into how this information is provided.
Maybe we should consider placing sanctions on Ukraine until the corruption&/war stops eh?
Of course, we see every leader and every country that responds to Russia’s strikes on Ukraine. But the only strong and just response – the one that truly achieves its goal and helps people – is additional support for our state. The world has Patriot missiles. What matters now is for our partners to make the political decision to provide the necessary packages. The United States knows what we need. Europe knows what we need. Anti-ballistic missiles must protect people – not sit in stockpiles. And every day without this vital assistance gives Russia another chance to kill our people.
And right now, the response must also include additional and real sanctions. Every legal entity, every individual helping enterprises in Russia produce ballistic weapons – launchers and missiles – or supplying components and everything else they need – must all be sanctioned, not only by us, but by our partners as well. There are still gaps in the G7 jurisdictions. The fuel sector – everything helping Russia restore its oil refining capacity right now – must absolutely be stopped.
think of how badly your life had to go to end up as a suicide bomber
