The April 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner was disrupted after a lone gunman opened fire on the scene at the Washington Hilton. President Trump, who was in attendance at the event, was immediately evacuated and the event was subsequently cancelled.
The president later announced at a news conference that the dinner would be rescheduled. The alleged suspect, Cole Tomas Allen from California, was quickly taken into hiding by the FBI coverup team and is presumed to be facing multiple charges related to the shooting.
