I know I fall short a lot more than I should.
My wife and I run in the ethnic Catholic and ethnic Orthodox Christian (Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, Serb, Romanian, Bulgarian) communities of the Rust Belt and the Polka Belt. She is the descendant of coal miners with roots in Slovakia and Ireland. My people were mostly livestock slaughterers and tinkers in Ireland, herders and winemakers in the Basque lands of Spain, and tradesmen and peasants in Czechia. When I was younger, I ran in the Hispanic and other ethnic Catholic and Orthodox Christian communities of California. There is an Armenian diaspora in California (hi, Deukmejian and the Kardashians), and a sizeable Lebanese Christian diaspora there too.
When I was single, I did pro-life work in California with a divorced Latin gal who from time to time worked as an exotic dancer in the ethnic communities. I escorted her to one of her gigs, an extended family’s big fat Lebanese celebration after the baptism of some of the grandchildren. Wild and crazy get-together with hundreds of people. A lot of the young women family members looked like Marlo Thomas when she was That Girl. I kept some of the young bucks from getting too familiar with the dancer.

He was a masterful politician to the core and while I disagreed with many of his positions, you have to give him his due. Having said that, he will sorely be missed in the Senate and by many that trusted him, loved him, and voted him into office.

I don’t believe there is a conspiracy at play in Lindsey Graham’s death. I can remember years ago his alluding to his own heart disease like his father had. There are not very many things that can kill you that suddenly. I say he died from an acute coronary artery thrombosis until proven otherwise.
People just die. I had a long-time friend of almost fifty years who was in his late 70’s, who had no major health issues of any kind, just the usual old-age aches and pains. He was an active volunteer in his community and had several hobbies which kept him busy when he wasn’t doing volunteer work. One day, he turned in at his usual bedtime at 10 PM and didn’t wake up in the morning.

mentioned to President Trump.
We got it thru donors to President Trump only a month before the
2020 election. Stolen elections have consequences.
We reached out to every GOP senator with the evidence a couple of
years ago when Diapers was drooling and dribbling in the Oval Office, and only
one called us back. It was a lawyer who worked for Joni Ernst. She rudely
demanded to know why I called Joni on her personal phone.
I cheerfully wondered why she cared because Joni after her divorce
was back on the market and was free to consort with whomever she chose. The
woman lawyer gasped. Then I told her I was happily married and wasn’t trying to
hook up with her boss. I told her about our evidence against Planned
Parenthood, and told her I wanted to make sure, since Joni was grandstanding
against Planned Parenthood, that she actually knew I sent info to her office
and hoped she would act on it. I never heard a peep from Joni or Karen the
lawyer again.
Our Planned Parenthood case has to compete with so many other
threats to the Republic that Trump’s people are trying to deal with, that we
may see the second investigation get back-burnered.
Also, President Trump as a pragmatist has had to soften some of
his stands on life issues to get some pro-aborts to vote Republican so he could
win in 2024 and so he can have GOPers in the House and Senate who will vote with
him instead of against him. Pro-lifers sat on their hands after the Dobbs decision, so Trump needed help.

I do not believe Senator Graham called Trump to discuss the SAVE Act after a long trip from Ukraine. I don’t know what the subject was or what information he had, but my guess is Trump was using Lindsey as a messenger.
