At the same time as Dept of Labor Inspector General Anthony D’Esposito launches an investigation into H1B visa abuses by corporations who engaged in visa fraud, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh appoints advisors to the FED on labor policy that includes one of the most egregious violators of H1B fraud, XBox CEO Asha Sharma.
It is beyond frustrating to see our labor system for ‘qualified technical positions’ being abused by companies who are intentionally discriminating against American workers.
American born Asha Sharma was the former VP at Facebook during their $14M settlement with DOJ for discriminating against American workers. Now as CEO of Microsoft XBox gaming, she has announced the termination of around 3,200 employees while Microsoft, company-wide, filed 2,879 Labor Condition Application for H-1B positions in fiscal year 2026.
There is a pattern at work within the high-tech industry where corporations factor in the price of lawsuits as a cost of doing business, a cost-effective way to continue discriminating against American workers. Obviously, they deny this practice, yet the transparent visibility of the practice continuing tell a more honest story.
Into this mix, Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh announces an advisory network of business and economic leaders to help guide FED policy on a variety of subjects. [CITATION] Within the Productivity and Jobs taskforce, Asha Sharma surfaces as an advisor “to inform the Federal Reserve’s policy judgments.”
I’m sure all of these are lovely people, with the best intentions for their own personal interests. However, where in the dynamic of FED policy advisors is the person who speaks directly to the needs of American workers who are being forced by policy to compete against the entire world for a tech sector job.

VGC – […] Notably, Sharma was named one of three advisors on the Productivity and Jobs task force, which the Federal Reserve says will be assessing, among other things, the impact of AI.
According to a news release, the task force will look at “the economic impact of new general-purpose technologies, including artificial intelligence, to inform the Federal Reserve’s policy judgments.”
Supported by Federal Reserve staff, the task forces will operate independently, with “a mandate to follow the evidence, provide candid feedback, and produce rigorous findings for the Federal Open Market Committee”. (more)

Stumbled across this yesterday. It now appears very relevant? “Tulsi Gabbard, Hare Krisna, and UFO Cults, Part 1
Rounding the Earth Newsletter / by Mathew Crawford / Jul 8, 2026 at 6:11 AM”. A wild read.
Sounds like a Six Ways from Sunday hitjob.
I was going to look all these folks up, and started at the beginning above with Arminio Fraga. My search returned this from Wikipedia, and I didn’t go any further:
“Armínio Fraga Neto (born 20 July 1957, in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian economist who was president of the Central Bank of Brazil from 1999 to 2003.[1] From 1993 until his appointment to the Central Bank, he was Managing Director of Soros Fund Management in New York.”
Uh, what? How will these appointments further the interests of the American System?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arminio_Fraga
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent likely knew this gentleman since he also worked for Soros Fund Management.
Sorry John. Yours was the next comment. I didn’t see until I posted. It’s not lost on many of us apparently.
I replied below. No worries.
Politics is a complicated matter.
Mervyn King…Britain.
Enobled, now Lord King, member of the UK Upper Crust and no doubt chummy with (if not part of) the British Imperialists whose system of globalist rule President Trump is displacing.
The more we look at the various appointees, the worse it gets.
Keep your friends close but your enemies closer…..? 😉 ( Michael Corleon)
Those connections known only the substrataum of the most wealthy and powerful.
Well, if you think about it – President Trump always – – always comes out on top, and seems to deliver a knock blow from a direction I never expected or saw coming. Getting tired of winning yet?
I recall Sec. Scott Bessent had a Soros in his background resume.
Ed Dowd, financial and statistical genius, was a BlackRock VP at one time.
As someone wrote, “Trying to hurt me by bringing up my past is like looking for me at my old house. I don’t live there any longer.”
Bessent was, Lorraine, and he was part of the detestable Soros plot to bring down the British pound and Britain itself. Fortunately, he failed but not before causing terrible mayhem (short version).
I truly hope the above quote applies to him, just as it does for the brilliant Ed Dowd.
I truly hope that is the case too Betsy. I have learned politics is one of the performing arts where shape shifting is a necessary aspect of gaining entrance into the camp of the opposing party to gain insight and inflict damage.
It’s akin to being a double agent.
Truth.
Yep and I saw your reply above.
Re: MS and H-1B Visas ….
Here’s a link to another article emanating out of the once great State of Washington … which is now a cesspool of sanctuary cities, fake voters, gang members, “homeless” bums and druggies, more illegals and to top it off — MORE “legal” 3rd World carpetbaggers w/ H-1B Visas arriving to take jobs from Washingtonians and their families … and some of the same “players” are involved as in the CTH article — what a surprise, yes ???
“Outrage as Microsoft cuts 1,600 Xbox jobs, imports 2,273 on H-1B”

Disclaimer: my wife’s son-in-law is in “upper management” at MS Redmond, WA … and he’s a complete slime-ball, IMO …
As such, he fits right in nicely w/ the rest of the “upper management” team …
Q.E.D.
Microsoft has campuses in India and more are being built so perhaps a shift is in the future?
Since the 1990’s MS India campus teach English and coding and are nothing but H-1B factories.
President Trump should push for Americans to be able to get work visas and go to India. A reciprocal arrangement
India is one of the worst Shiite holes on earth
That’s what they say. I haven’t been there yet.
Americans are of the lowest caste in India.
No, I have friends from Indian and it’s one of the most corrupt countries in the world. They say that Indian is getting worse and worse and they don’t advise US citizens ever go there. The crime is off the chart, not just by normies but the entire country is messed up and filled with Dirt, Death and Corruption. They don’t advise anyone go but especially women! They say a women visitor needs at least two strong men with a women so as not to be harassed and even killed
So if the whole country is corrupt they might not be sending their best. H1-b visa is just like welfare unnecessary and hurts American citizens who actually pay for this country to work.
People from India are the third largest group of illegals.
Modi loves it.
Thy bring their culture and caste system here and send remittances home to boost his economy
Ned I mention anchor babies?
Anchor babies are another way of having future influence in our country through birth right citizenship.
The SCOTUS decision on that was devastating.
where I live they have their own shopping centers, restaurants, clothing stores,, neighborhoods
they took over, etc. One of my friends who is half black with a white husband lived in an upper class subdivision and they slowly took it over and all the whites, etc. moved out. Which is irony itself.
which is interesting because we have a multi cultural community that is somewhat upper middle class and middle class. The blacks and asians assimilate throughout the community like anyone else but not the indians. The indian females still wear their saris and speak their language.
Santa Clara county Cupertino and Sunnyvale Ca I assume? The cheap labor Chinese who replaced the White American men who created the computer and tech industry have now been replaced by even cheaper labor indentured servant Indians.
Sounds like a US takeover. Why not train and hire Americans?
Many want Hindu to be the dominant belief so they are harassing and killing Christians.
This never gets attention.
India is not our friend.
President Trump should pull the H1B program and train American workers to do these jobs.
I think this is MS’s campus.

Failing greatly on that English part. Ever go on a long pause during a phone call and then try to understand what the person is saying. Some customer service!
Nope ..the “campuses” you reference are just tech and H-1B Visa “Boot Camps” prior to moving to the “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave” …
Land of the freeloaders home of the slave. Fixed it for you.
One can hope these “displaced” American workers won’t be sending generous campaign contributions to thee Democrat Candidates in their Districts ? Maybe even most of them will vote GOP in 4 months ?
Crazier things have happened.
I doubt it. Most of the jerks who were fired didn’t even like working for Microsoft according to many of their twitter posts when they were fired.
Yep. There is a huge backlash currently ongoing from workers that have been told they must report to the campus instead of working from home.
Most vote GOP ?? In Washington ???
Never going to happen any more in Washington State that would produce a GOP statewide victory until the Democrat created “100% mail-in voting cheat machine” is ground into fine dust and scattered to the 4 winds …
Many have moved up and have money and influence due to being DEI people.
Trump has a great team but someone lead him astray with this pick, Warsh, imo. Who suggested him is my question?
Question for the legal eagles here. Is there any reason states can’t pass income taxes specifically for H1B visa holders? I would think if that could be done and were set at an appropriate level, the number of people willing to apply for H1B visa jobs would decrease.
A lot of MAGA laws could be passed *if* states legislatures had our best interests at heart. But alas, they do not.
States do *not* want to discourage cheap foreign workers lest these feckless pols risk losing favor (and campaign funding) from their global overlords within the Chamber of Commerce.
Unless we eliminate election fraud the American people can expect little representation. We’ll see plenty of self righteous breast-beating and RNC fundraising, but no taxpayer relief will ever come.
Doubt that these pols will change their ways until they start seeing plenty of their partners in crime swinging from the nearest lampposts.
Thanks you’re so right
The 14th Amendment’s equal protection clause.
The traitors who hire foreign job thieves would destroy any attempts using their massive lobbying of congress and state legislators
Extremely distressing that normal US citizens are not represented.
I have heard Warsh speak at the Hoover Institute years ago and found him thoughtful. Supported his appointment.
Now I am having lots of second thoughts.
If he sticks to the 2% minimum inflation target and listens to these type of people; we are cooked.
Is he being blackmailed?
I thought he was going to be so good after the cadaver who,led it for too long?
These appointments border on treason! Why would any one of them have American values at heart?. I’m with abolishing the Fed!!
The government is borrowing a 150 billion a month adding to the 39 trillion debt and almost 1 trillion a year of interest cost. It is essentially ignored I suppose until it blows up. Oh well.
Government is not borrowing the money. They are just printing it. Our money supply is unlimited. But one day some unimagined event will blow it all up.
They’re all foreigners. The xbox lady is a paper American.
She might be “American born” but she is clearly discriminating against REAL Americans! Damn her and her kind.
A paper American and a genuine twat.
Is there a lack of AMERICAN citizens who would be more suited to this new board? And per another Treeper, one of them is a Soros afflicted person.
This really ticks me off.
Don’t get me started on H1B’s (spit!).
Scott Bessent is widely praised here and he is a protege of Soros.
We’ve all done things we regret. Living to learn! No biggie…
True. Politics is much like sausage making. The process is nauseating but the final product cooked can be a pleasure.
Disappointing if true.
Live updates: Trump will allow a bipartisan housing bill he thwarted to become law tomorrow
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/trump-administration/live-blog/trump-2026-election-congress-housing-iran-ice-doj-live-updates-rcna358291
Ok, fine. I don’t like the selection(s), but let’s focus on on factual information -of the roughly 3200 folks laid off at Xbox where where these layoffs and who were they? Was it all in the US, were they all US citizens, how many laid off were H1B visa holders. What is the exact layoff characteristics and what were their jobs vs the newly added H1B visas and their potential gigs. Flying a little blind
A lot of them were woke turds.
Let them all get jobs at McDonalds.
If they get jobs at McDonald’s, I won’t be going there for sure. We have more power than we realize and we need to use it. We can boycott the hell out of companies that hire the woke turds that were fired and we can boycott the companies that hire the H1B turds. Support patriotic companies that hire patriotic Americans and produce products Made in America.
Good question.
As per Microsoft, usual spin and non disclosure … regarding the specific demographics of the layoffs:
Citizenship: There is no official data confirming whether all laid-off employees were US citizens; however, online narratives and political critics have claimed the company fired “3,200 Americans” to replace them with foreign labor.
May we hope that Warsh is bringing a bad ass player into the office to watch her more closely ?
Unlikely, in my opinion.
If you think someone is playing you, they are.
If someone has the upper hand, break it.
I’m still stuck at the American citizen employment needs determined by people born with silver spoons in their mouths not raised as Americans and never worked an American job from the ground up.. Yet here they are running a think tank to figure out what to do with the average working US citizen.. Kinda telling of the NWO plan for the US boomer Citizens..
The boomers are either retired or will retire in the next several years.
yep. I withdrew my services.
True.. however it’s the boomer ideology and industrious nature currently keeping this country form falling to the communist agenda.. We are still relevant although so many wish that was not the case
I understand your point but in my opinion the boomer generation percentage of the workforce is likely a minority now.
China announcing a gold backed Yuan for oil purchase on July 24th. Houston…we have a problem.
The problem is that the US has spent way more than it can afford for a long time. It’s a self inflicted wound. Unfortunately for the citizens they are along for the ride.
The vultures are circling. That can only mean they detect the decaying corpse of the American economic sector. Et tu Kevin?
Bless her heart. Get the hook.
What happened with the 100K a year charge for each H1B worker? Is that even in effect?
From what I remember the courts struck that down I think. As usual.
The court struck it down!
Damn, they are good.
Citizens that worship at the altar of the dollar will always be beholden to those who control the dollar.
A lot of us hold our nose and pout at the corruption of the current system, but 7x out of 10 i find dollar bills popping out of the pouters arses.
A quote from a Batman movie from the Joker (maybe taken from the early Chairman Warburg at a Fed Reserve meeting ?): “Now comes the part where I relieve you, the little people, of the burden of your failed and useless lives.”
The front men and players change but not the incestuous puppeteers whose goals appear inevitable.
This crowd is in Carney’s wheelhouse. Can’t get much closer.
The company I work for went with a new healthcare provider this year and all the in-network doctors who are accepting new patients are women immigrants from India and China for whom English is a second language.
That is because less and less Americans want to be doctors. Years of university and residency used to mean you could start your own practice. Now doctors work for the corporate hospital organizations.
White citizens aren’t allowed admission to medical school.
Thank you thank you thank you.
I know this sounds trivial and I know we all need medical care from time to time, some of us more than others, but my wife and I work really hard to follow a healthy lifestyle, including diet, exercise and avoiding alcohol, tobacco, unnecessary vaccines, etc. We don’t drink, smoke, chew or hang around with people that do! My point here is to take care of yourself the best that you can to minimize contact with doctors, hospitals, etc. Health care has changed a lot the past 50 years and not always in a good way.
Started 50 years ago. You are correct. Carry on.
Wait until a midget Central American jungle village without a drivers license making an illegal left turn and smashes your pelvis into 8 pieces both your kneecaps both your hips and your thigh bones are replaced by titanium bones cadaver parts and titanium support devices on each leg to support those titanium thigh bones. Support devices. A titanium post attached to outer kneecap and pelvis to support the titanium femur so as to enable you to walk.
Clean living healthy food and exercise won’t help you in that situation,
One still can but two things prevent it, and maybe a few more…
First, younger physicians feel they must have security regarding a job (which is how they unfortunately view their roles). There is littlle loyalty to patients, but too much attachment to the corporate nipple. They fill an interchangable role. Another brick in the wall.
Second, the mayority of graduating physicians are female. A fair percentage need time off work for pregnancy, amd child care. Often they will retire early and devote time to the family. This increses the number of FTEs needed for the physician workforce., which also seems to be dangerously reduced if present trends continue.
In addition, a fair number of males will take time off for family and child care, and demand it whereas the older physicians were taught such concerns were weakness. Dedication to task, knowledge, and skill produced professional status, often at great cost.
Fewer physicians now have that dedication and fewer still will pay the toll. Some of that is good, some bad. Complicated.
Hypocrates said ‘Knowing is difficult.’
Faustian indeed. Live your best life.
Just my two cents worth.
Doctors have become pill pushers for Big Pharma! Find a holistic doctor for the cure of what ails you! More than likely, the cure will be a good diet! I always did like mom’s home cooked meals! Dad always said “you have to be a member of the clean plate club before you get dessert”! Oh, how i disliked the veggie part of the plate, LOL! I learned to like those veggies! Thanks dad!!!
Thank the lawyers and medical malpractice insurance industry for that. My independent doctor was forced to retire or join a group due to the skyrocketing cost of medical liability insurance. That’s when we only paid $22 to see him, without health insurance!
No no no these foreign doctors from the most corrupt countries on earth commit serious malpractice every day. They need to be punished for the serious deadly and crippling malpractice they commit every day. Plus the Chinese Indians etc truly despise the American patients. Indians and Asians have no problem using each others credentials paying someone to take board and med school and the MCAT med school exams. Same with foreign nurses. Many Chinese and Indian college students hire others to take difficult college courses such as organic chemistry and other pre med courses. Every once in a while there’s a scandal when a pre med professor finally notices a familiar face. An Indian or Chinese who has taken the sane course under several different names. For a substantial payment of course. Nurses and medical technicians as well as medical students..
Due to a recent mild stroke, I’ve been seeing a lot of doctors lately. They are all Indian or middle eastern. This was in N Va. I’m sick of it!
My regular physician went on a humanitarian mission for a year, my interim doc was an Indian. Went to see him, he diagnosed me with several new maladies and gave me 8 new scripts. None of which I used!
Every Indian C-suite member is an agent of destruction. That’s why I would never vote for Vance.
Makes you wonder what the hell was he thinking!
Sorry Sundance, there are a lot more vultures than what you have in your cartoon.
Agreed, but the point was well made!
The Anti-White Lobby is a twin to the Treason Lobby.
So basically, no representation for US
Surely Trump knows all of this, right?
President Donald Trump is a mixed bag when it comes to foreign policy. The Iran war has been a blunder that has cost the average American a fortune and is threatening the midterms. But letting so many foreigners in via H1-B and student visas is a major glaring weakness. He is listening to too many billionaires having their own agendas.
I’m beginning to question his judgement. He’s been getting some really bad advice and recommendations in his second term.
Going after Iran at this time, before it’s too late to do so, was very important.
But at this point, he should just wipe out the electricity transmission system (leave the plants intact) and just blackout the entire country. Let them live in the Stone Age for a couple of years and move on to other issues.
And fellow member Arminio Fraga: Managing Director of Soros Fund Management in New York.
Government and business incest – fascism actually – will destroy this country as quickly as anything. The People of the United States are under no obligation to issue these visas to anyone. That used to matter in the House of Representatives where 2 year cycles gave us a chance to change things; it used to matter in the Senate where the states had the power to change things. But, we now live in some kind of bastard democracy where if you convince 50%+1 that they can have free things, then you are a politician for life.
Don’t even need 50%+1 now if you have the right people counting the ballots.
There is no representation.
The Left is working that to perfection!
Bread and circuses. Rome fell for a reason.
I follow the gaming industry quite closely.
Asha Sharma fired 3200 xbox gaming division employees, a lot of those turds were nothing but woke ideologues.
Now Microsoft is gonna hire h1-bs for the replacements?
1 step forward two steps back.
Warsh’s wife is Jane Lauder, an heiress of the Estee Lauder family. They don’t use their married names, easier to disguise the Big Club angle. I don’t know her politics, but she is the “global president” of a few of Lauder brands. Once I hear global anything, my eyes narrow into cynical slits.
I wanted Judy Shelton!! WTH with some of these nominations?
Sundance, I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to call the baby ugly here.
The 3,200 employee figure is GLOBAL. This includes gaming studios in France and the UK.
Out of the American workers impacted, some them belonged to studios that got sold off from XBOX. Those workers kept their jobs; they are just not officially XBOX employees anymore.
The remaining Americans workers who actually did lose their jobs belonged to badly mismanaged and bloated studios. When your gaming studio (Bethesda) only releases one game in 15 years (“Starfield”), and that game is a massive commericial failure, lay-offs should not be surprising. What the heck was Bethesda spending 15+ years and hundreds of millions of dollars doing?
The H1B number refers to ALL of Microsoft. Asha, the XBOX CEO who was appointed in February, has zero control over how many H1Bs the Windows CEO hired in January. I have yet to read any reports about any of the impacted game studios taking in replacement H1Bs (which, again, would be impossible in the EU-based studios).
Finally, for some overall context, XBOX and Western AAA gaming in general is suffering from very similar problems to Hollywood. The gaming industry is plagued wih woke productions made with unsustainable budgets and open disdain for their customers. The customers rightfully rejected them, and now the woke-infested studios and people that made them are suffering the inevitable financial consequences, i.e. “Get woke, go broke.” If you do not feel bad about the death of Hollywood, then you shouldn’t feel bad about the death of Western AAA gaming. Asha is making the tough decisions needed to course correct.
I agree Ronin. Now maybe Sundance has a better grasp on this than I do. He usually does but Asha was just named xbox CEO.
She also dropped the current Ai that Microsoft was trying to jam into all of their xbox studio crap.
She’s made some really tough choices to right the xbox ship and I commend her for it.
I’m into seeing how this all plays out.
The gaming industry at the moment is in for a helluva ride the next few years.
Especially since all of that funny money government threw at everyone a few years ago during Covid is finally catching up with the consumer.
I remember my grandmother saying something when I was a kid.
“If your gonna play now, your gonna pay later”
In Sundance’s defense, there are bad actors in the media and social media who are desperately trying to steer XBOX’s problems into anything other than a “get woke, go broke” issue. They can never, ever admit that woke video game flops and the Communist game developers who make them drove these gaming studios into the ground. They are putting out smear jobs on Asha and Microsoft for refusing continue to fund their unprofitable woke games. That is all this is—anger over the woke gaming pipeline being shut down. You need to go into the gaming weeds to spot the smears, and Sundance has more important weeds to check out 🙂
“filed 2,879 Labor Condition Application for H-1B positions in fiscal year 2026”
Guess we can forget about this then.
Call AMEX and see who answers. It’s someone in Mumbai. Every time. Theyre nice. Polite and efficient. And $3.00 an hour.
And you can’t understand a damn word they’re saying!
We don’t even need H1B1 for technology positions. If they need Indians so much they can stay in India and work remotely. 99% of tech companies are international already.
Can’t Trump appoint someone who Isn’t Deep Statist??? Warsh is another Globalist Bankster
Exactly. I do not get this at all. After (rightly) complaining about Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve, POTUS Trump turns around and sticks another globalist Warsh as Fed Chairman.
I read about XBox and this anti-American Sharma woman, what a disgrace.
Mr. President – this is not cutting it. Wondering out-loud if this kind of stuff is coming from the JD Vance wing of the Administration?????
Either through executive order or legislation, there needs to be a regulation which states that for EVERY American worker “laid off” that a company has TEN H1B visa applications denied or revoked – with a 5 year moratorium on future H1B applications…
WTAF?
Is this going to turn out to be another of Trumps “disaster appointments “?
Yes
242 comments all saying the same thing.
There are no good picks.
There shouldn’t be any picks.
If the Fed can’t do the job under it’s current structure and governors shut it down.
Kevin Warsh was nominated by Trump.. No use criticizing Warsh’s appointment of this task force alone without pondering over why Trump nominated this guy
Add election fraud to the poster!!
All these tech people are traders to this country, warsh picked all these harvard scum bags who have zero patriotism and all these retired bankers, we don’t need these people from India, england and , other countries . We need patriots on this panel, and why hasn’t he gotten rid of that scum bag powel yet? And that other criminal Lisa crook. We need independent investigations of all the scum bags fed. Reserve officers!!! The in one minasota., he connected to this trader of a governor. The federal reserve is criminal organization designed to steel are money and sell us short. F CK THEM ALL
One step forward, two steps back. Your history is your future.
why is the federal reserve involved in labor policy?
that is a good question.
Central bankers doing central planning, social engineering? Is this a psyop or other form of masses training? Did this new chairman create and appoint the task force as a new thing or- was it from the “board” as a course of action. Sigh, I am confused and do wonder why this task force is made up of foreign minds from Harvard school of global circus. Has the fed routinely had a task force for labor ??
The tech sector has been doing this for decades. I recall the 80’s and 90’s when tens of thousands of tech people, fully qualified and capable, were laid off and replaced with H1B visa people from India. It was sickening and disheartening. And to add injury to insult, “customer service” (not!) jobs were outsourced entirely to India call centers. All the big companies were doing it: HP, Intel, Dell, AMD, etc. Those who could, moved into Software Engineering (you know, the “thinking” jobs), and they too were soon dispensed with in favor of H1B visas. Those guys were no better, not more educated, nor capable. The lie was that the companies could not find qualified people. B.S. It was all about the money, of course. And as an aside, Elon is all in on it. What a jerk.
That combined with poor, and dumbed down, public education in America has made it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Which is why, the Trump Administration making it so that it’s a $100,000 price tag to bring in an H1B visa (if that’s true) is a move in the right direction, but not near enough. It is good to see the tide changing. It should be America first all the way. And now we are raising a generation who asks Google Gemini how to do everything, or ChatGPT how to think. Bad combination.
How can we compete with countries that value education basics, like math and science when there are state governments that actually pass laws to eliminate core requirements in science, math, reading to elevate the people of color. Apparently these basics are too hard for them. Funny too because the leftist agitators claim that their constituents are the best and brightest we have and are the ones directly responsible for America’s success.
Good question
H1B is a big problem. Off shoring high skill tech jobs is a bigger problem. No one ever mentions that when talking about this issue. Not everyone wants to live in the US. It’s much cheaper for these companies to offshore jobs than to import foreign labor. H1b is for jobs that can’t be moved overseas, but most tech jobs can be done remotely. Many foreign workers are educated with advanced degrees at major universities in the US. When they graduate, they return home to their families and work for American companies at a fraction of the price. An American tech job that pays $150,000/yr can be replaced by a highly skilled, highly competent Indian worker for less than $30,000/yr. The game is rigged against the American worker in more areas than H1b.
Put the fox in charge of the hen house. Yeah, that always works out for the best.
What about Mitch McConnell? Are they playing a Weekend At Bernie’s game to run out the clock and not replace him?
What a joke this country has become.
Just disgusting! My fear of all these untested, overpaid invaders is over the top…..just when we were going to enjoy the weekend. God help us!
It’s amazing that voters have allowed both parties to get away with destabilizing the U.S. labor market for U.S. citizens all these years. How this issue has not been front and center for every candidate’s prospects at election for decades now is beyond me.
