Several people have inquired about a Paul Sperry article [SEE HERE] and if CTH had any insight. While I generally refrain from discussion based on speculation, perhaps enough time has passed where my preferred lack of attention on the matter provides room for a quick outline.
Within the Sperry article, this fragment surfaces:
…”These well-placed sources also say that diGenova has cultivated several new witnesses, including whistleblowers from the intelligence community and the FBI, and that his team has also uncovered significant new evidence, including a massive FBI document spanning several hundred pages that reportedly exposes new malfeasance in the bureau’s probe of Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, codenamed Crossfire Hurricane, which was begun before the 2016 election.”…
“New malfeasance” is not exactly how I would characterize the likely described material.
What Sperry’s sources seem to be outlining based on description, likely pertains to the FBI contractor issue from 2015 and 2016 where access to the NSA database was defensively investigated after the NSA compliance officer raised flags about unauthorized use.
You may remember that somewhere between 1,000 and 9,999 illegal searches were conducted repeatedly using the same identifiers, between November 2015 and April 2016. The source of those searches was attributed to “FBI contractors.”
The period in question (’15 – ’16) when combined with the description given by FISA Court Presiding Justice Rosemary Collyer [first graphic above], indicated the queries were political in nature – conducted on GOP Presidential candidates; essentially, political surveillance.
The discovery of the process triggered the NSA Director to question the FBI Director about the nature and purpose of the FBI contractor queries. That questioning triggered a defensive response from the FBI to justify what had taken place.
Later, as part of Office of Inspector General Michael Horowitz review of unauthorized violations of the FISA (702) process, the OIG reviewed the FBI use of contractors to include the issue originally outlined in early 2017. [second graphic above]
The document(s) described to Paul Sperry would appear to be the result of the FBI internal review and justification, as well as explanations given to the OIG. That “several hundred-page FBI reports” is apparently now under diGenova review.

Patiently awaiting serious indictments of high value targets.
I am also awaiting, but not patiently, nor with much hope, TBH!
Guard against the Stockholm Syndrome. There are paid demoralizers running fast and loose across the blogs. They count on people like you “giving up hope”. And sweeping one more seditious mess under the table. Fie!
I’m impatiently waiting for arrests and persecutions. Yes, I spelled that correctly.
How did these federal data breaches correlate with Paul Pelosi’s amazing stock picks during that same period? Asking for a friend.
Yes yes we know it takes time to develop the cases! Plural. However, some arrest please as the Bolton guilty plea has dried. Make some arrest before November anyway.
Norm Eisen and crew would be neck deep into pleas, long prison terms and working AGAIN to put President Trump in the slammer! Good grief Spit!
How many data base searches were authorized under Samantha Powers name?
And what were the search terms that were used?
Excellent question. What they were searching for, is as important as who was doing the searching. Thank you.
and why can’t the FBI/NSA identify all the perps, what they searched, for whom, who requested received the search results, what was done with or as a result of the search results, and where/who destroyed or kept the search results.
Why were access systems put in law firms and other “contractors”, were the illegal searches requested by the FBI, or done secretly? Who at the FBI knew about any of the illegal searches? by ‘illegal’, is meant to include ‘FBI authorized’ but improper political spying.
the real, original Beau Geste
The gift (CIA/FBI) that never stops giving but the result is ayways the same.. What can we do other than drive by? I am not even sure Suleimani wasn’t a CIA setup.
I keep reading about all these violations of our laws and Constitutional rights by various government individuals in various agencies and nothing ever comes of it? So what’s different this time? 🥱
What is your own theory, since you diligently track these matters, Why do you think “nothing happens”. How would you break up this ice jam.
My theory is the deep state takes care of its own. The corrupt DC District Court is stacked with obama/biden corrupt activist leftist Judges to protect Democrat criminality! The DC District Court is stacked with deep state jurors! Charges would have to be brought in some other jurisdiction to stand a chance of indictment and conviction. But if the crime only occurred in the DC District Court it would be difficult to change venue. JMO But I’m not lawyer so what do I know?
Do you think something happen, there will charges brought by acting AG Todd Blanche? If so when/
Who was Joseph Mifsud?
There’s actually really good news here. It strongly indicates diGenova is building the foundation of an ongoing conspiracy. There is no statute of limitations on conspiracies.
Seem to remember Durham? Found one of those big law firms had a NSA terminal in there office in a non-governmental SCIF?
All something about GTech
this is not me, the original beau geste. I know how to spell ‘their’, but would use “its” rather than a plural pronoun for a single entity, to engage in “woke’ language destruction
Please don’t tell me how many tens of thousands of times the US Law has been broken.
Only tell me when a single one of the criminals will ever receive justice.
Otherwise: “You’re absolutely right, and they got away with it scot-free.”
And they, like everyone else like them in America today, will continue to do so.

“unauthorized violations”
Makes me wonder if there were “authorized violations”?
