I would ask a prayer for my wife. She will be scheduled for aortic valve replacement surgery the next few weeks. Luckily. her angiogram showed now blockage in her arteries around the heart. I realize that this surgery is commonplace in this day and age, but she is still nervous about getting this. Thanks

My other half had this done just recently! We were both so worried. He did wonderful! Excellent doctor. He feels great and no longer that tired feeling. Yes, it has become a common procedure, but when it hits close, it makes you go through difficult thoughts and moments. My prayers go out to you both.
This hits home! I will have the same procedure done here in July. Nervous but not without hope. Love all of you!

Booger 71, my husband had this done almost 2yrs ago. He was very lucky that the Dr was able to go through his femoral artery. He did wake up in the middle of the procedure! Surgical techniques are improving all the time but this is not ‘nothing’.

Yes, to both. It is the hardest road – for me 20 years as a single Mom. I thought we were in good shape and had overcome all challenges – only to learn our greatest challenge was ahead. May God be praised as we, and our children, develop our testimony with God.

I have been a Treeper here since about 2012, and a loyal Trump supporter since a few weeks after he and Melania came down the golden escalator on June 16, 2015. I’ve been to 14 Trump rallies, and at my first rally, he took my MAGA hat from my hand, signed the visor, and looked me straight in the eye as he handed it back (across three layers of people). I have watched the majority of his rallies on RBSN.
I have heard him say at least 100 times, INCLUDING TWICE LAST WEEK, “We want people to come into our country, but that have to come in LEGALLY.” I agree, and with that in mind, I married a wonderful lady in Thailand whose immigrant visa application is pending. Her visa interview is scheduled for the last week of July at the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok.
We were SHOCKED when last January the State Dept announced an “indefinite pause” on immigration from 75 nations, INCLUDING THAILAND!
Legal Thai immigrants are NOT causing trouble here. My wife will NOT become a “public charge” become I can fully support here AND she will get a good job here (she speaks fluent English and has a master’s degree in English).
Moreover, the “pause” is illegal because the Immigration and Nationality Act prohibits discrimination based on nationality, and because the rule was adopted without comment in violation of the Administrative Procedures Act.
What on earth is the point of fighting ILLEGAL immigration by ILLEGALLY banning LEGAL immigration?
Please pray for the door to our country to open to my wonderful wife in answer to Trump’s message, “We want people to come into our country, but that have to come in LEGALLY.”

I wished a customer/friend a happy father’s day and he said his son has not spent a father’s day with him in thirty years. A neighbor said her three grown children cannot coordinate to see their father- busy schedules excuse. My mother ceased communication with two of her sisters- one passed and my brother discovered the obituary online seven months later. There seems to be an epidemic of estrangement. I have no communication with a schizophrenic brother. Endless examples. Not only are we divided on politics but all sorts of issues. Pray for a return to Christ at the center of our culture.
Heavenly Father I pray for Your Mercy on all those who are sadly missing loved ones during this time of evil deception. Father, You alone can restore relationships as we surrender our will and our own desires to Your Holiness, trusting You alone to do Your Will for our brokenness in each moment of our lives and our lost loved ones lives. May we stay faithful to You and not hear the enemy’s lies.

My husband of 35 years died unexpectedly this past November (massive heart attack – no clot shot, no warning…. But on Cymbalta and struggled with depression/chronic pain)
We had moved to our forever home in 2021 and were planning for retirement within the next year or so.
Now I am packing the house to move in with my daughter and son-in-law. I can’t take care of the house on my own (physically or financially)
This is so hard. Packing a lifetime of love and having to sell/give a lot away because there won’t be enough room.
Prayers that I have the strength to get through this move and ability to make it all happen.
My heart is broken and I’m overwhelmed with grief, but my tasks at hand (and my three dogs, one being a Doberman puppy 🤦♀️) keep me busy which is good.
I’m a Christian as was my husband. So knowing he’s with the Lord gives me comfort. But I struggle with the timing – angry that he was taken so early. Never imagined that I would be a widow at age 54.

Please pray for the suffering people of Ireland. Ireland is the only country in Europe that was not a colonial power. Ireland was colonized itself and suffered for it. Benjamin Franklin said that he supported the American Revolution after he saw the suffering of the people of Ireland. The British committed genocide against the Irish in the mid 1800’s with the potato famine. Food was shipped out of Ireland and even though it is an island, the Irish were not allowed to fish on the land confiscated by the British (the whole island).
The migrant invasion is quickly overcoming the native people because Ireland is a small island. Ireland had very little crime prior to the invasion. The green new deal and data centers have resulted in huge energy costs that the people cannot afford.
I hear podcasts saying that the Irish can take care of themselves because they were able to remove the British from the Republic. The IRA (Sinn Fein) has taken the side of the globalists and is part of the persecution of the people of Ireland (both the Republic and the North).
My cousin in Ireland writes me constantly about the hopelessness of the situation. I understand the Irish situation because my grandparents, who left Ireland while it was still under British control, were forced to leave and come to the US because of the poverty. Members of the family would be told they had to leave. Those who had to emigrate were chosen, based on whether they were able to take care of themselves and other siblings, who would be leaving with them. These family members had to leave their beloved Ireland and family, never to see Ireland or their family again. There were holes in my grandparents’ hearts that were never filled.
Please pray for the people of Ireland that the people find courage to challenge their corrupt leadership and find a leader to liberate them from the evil globalists who seek to replace them in their own country.
I, too, have relatives from Ireland. My heart is heavy for all they have endured and continue to endure. May the Lord of All Mercies pour down His Holy Spirit Power on all of Ireland to bring them peace. May every evil spirit be removed from this beautiful land of Yours, Dear Lord. I ask for prayers for my brother who has colorectal cancer and has been dealing with the US healthcare system for over two years now. Multiple surgeries, chemo, radiation. Was hoping to have his hopefully final surgery this spring but the delay to get a MRI beforehand has pushed that to fall.

I would like to offer a prayer for my loved ones, my Mom and Dad who variously are facing aging challenges, my baby brother who is still recovering from a stroke, for my 2nd brother with whom a difference in politics is so acute that one must not breath a a word of politics in his presence, for my sister-in-law who cared for her now deceased parents, and finds herself in a caregiver situation for my parents, for my first born who is still finding her way, and for my younger one with whom estrangement is the status quo.

I’d like to ask for a prayer for my cousin Tom. Tom is a brilliant guy and has a doctorate in virology. He has been healthy his whole life, never smoked, never drank. He’s 63. During Covid he was working in a large hospital doing research. To keep his job, he had to get jabbed, over and over again.
Today this once incredibly healthy man has cancer in four major organs in his body. The first symptoms appeared about a year after his first jab, and then piled up. He doesn’t think it was caused by the shots, because he’s a firm believer in “the science.”
I pray for him every day, that he’ll heal, both physically and mentally. Thanks and best wishes to all.

So many, Father, were victims of “science” and trusted faithfully what they believed to be protective measures. In some cases, the measures were far from protective and may have had adverse, if not dire, effects. Some mysteries we will never know, but we know God – for sure – that You Know.
You Are our Creator and You breathe life in us and sustain us all our days. Father, may we have a miracle on Tom’s behalf – and how much more so would he sing Your Praises if he knew that his only hope was in You – and You Chose to restore him.
Reverse this cancer. Cast it out of him as far as the east is from the west – and make him whole again – and restore his mission to provide “good science” on behalf of humanity – to steward Your flock well. In Jesus’s Holy and Saving Name, we pray, AMEN!
I am again humbly asking for prayers for my husband, Dave. He has been fighting esophageal cancer since Jan. 2025. He has another PET scan on Monday 6/22/26. His last scan 3 mo. ago was “clear”, but scans only show what’s big enough to see. He stopped his chemo treatments a week ago because the side effects were getting to be too much. His body needs a break from the poison. I am trying to surrender this all to God, as I know all things are possible thru Him. But still, the anxiety & fear finds a way in. I would be grateful for prayers for our Lord’s merciful healing for my beloved husband of 38 years. May God’s will be done.
Lord God I lift M up to You for renewed strength to find faith in Your Holy Goodness. May she continue to pray and trust that You are a Miracle Healer and a Loving Father Who wants none of His children to suffer. Father, we know that You did not cause this illness or suffering. I was able to see Dave’s scan results on the patient portal late this afternoon. There is a new spot on his liver. We will meet with his oncologist on Thursday. My guess is that she will recommend some radiation treatments. Not sure about continuing or changing chemo. It is a set back. I’m trying to give it all to God, but I am feeling pretty low. I would be grateful for continued prayers for my husband.

I am asking for a prayer for myself. I am fighting for my life, this is my fourth Environmental Fungal Bacterial Infection that is now two fungus’ which have taken over my lungs, making it extremely hard to breathe, oxygen levels dip down to the 80s. I was down to 84.5 lbs. but am now up to 86.5. being 5’5″ that is really a tad low on the weight scale. My doctors are doing all that they can to help. If you can say a prayer for me, I will be very grateful. Our Heavenly Father hasn’t given up on me yet, so I refuse to give up. I sincerely thank you for your help.

Thank you for your hugs and prayers. The bacterial infection is Pseudomonas Aspergillus brought on by my working out in the garden, the environment. This is my fourth bout with this, and the doctors, pulmonary, infectious disease, and primary are consulting with each other, trying to figure out what will be the best for me. I had a zoom call with the family and told them I would be the one who will call Hospice. Getting all things settled, just in case Our Heavenly Father calls me home. Again, thank you for your prayers.

I will most definitely pray to the Great Physician, Jesus, our Messiah, for your health and your peace through this trial, but I hope you will not think me tacky if I offer stories of others who have been helped in unusual ways.
Is your garden in the sun? Were you working in sunshine while working in your garden?
One young man who was told he had 3 days to live was asked by his parents what they could do to make his last days comfortable. He said he wanted to be in the sun one last time. They were able to roll his hosipital bed outside, where he stayed for a while. Instead of getting worse he sarted getting better almost immediately. Apparently old time hospital solariums did a great deal of good, but they were phased out. If possible get 20 minutes of sunshine on a foot square section of your body every day.
A father of 3 adult sons was told he had 3 days to live. His sons asked the doctors to give their father high doses of vitamin C. Although the sons were fought at every step, the doctors finally gave the dad intravenous vitamin C in a high dose (can’t remember the dosage right now), and like the young man with sunshine, the mans’s lungs started clearing within hours.
But the doctors refused to believe vitamin C could actually “cure” anything, so they stopped giving it to the man and he started getting worse again.
The sons found liposomal vitamin C in liquid form and gave it to their dad, who soon got better. I have since read that liposomal vitamin C enters the body with the same strength as if it was given intravenously (I’ll try to find the link).

Her Father, my Step Father, died in Jan and she was his care giver.
All this stress has caused her diabetes to get out of control and she now has cellulitis in her leg which is not responding to antibiotics.
She is very depressed and cannot seem to get any help anywhere though she is now homeless with no income.
We are searching everywhere for help for her and your prayers will be most welcome.

I’m so sorry to hear of Pam’s troubles – I’m in Central Indiana and have space here? Though, I’m fighting to hang onto this apartment myself – but it could provide some temporary relief. If she likes cats and home cooking? I am an excellent cook and would welcome the company.
Praying for Pam to realize that if God is waking her up every day – that He Is Not Done with her yet. I pray she is journaling during this time, handing it all over to God, and that within six months time -she will see His Divine Goodness and Provision on her behalf.
God bless your family and may her grieving heart be healed. Could the local County Trustee, Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, United Way, or American Red Cross help with disaster relief? I would call all of them. Social services for health insurance for her and food assistance, Temporary Aide for Needy Families (TANF).

Cats? One of the reasons she won’t leave the home site is her feral cat colony and is living in an old, damaged travel trailer on the property. Al power won’t restore her power so is making do with a generator. Pam has volunteered at a local church mission for many years so food and clothing are available. Right now, cash and medical care are the main problems.
And depression. She went to wound care yesterday and I made phone calls. Still waiting on responses.
If the drs will treat the cellulitis aggressivly enough and we can get to Sept-Oct so she can get SS, I think things will get better. If she doesn’t decide to check out first. I’m praying her love for her only child, an adult son, will keep her here.

Could a reach out to Habitat for Humanity possibly be done to see if they can restore and reinforce that travel trailer to put her in better shape for the interim? Reach out to Lowes and Home Depot store managers – local General Contractors who have participated in humanitarian relief efforts previously.
If she has the NextDoor app – a gentle inquiry to DIY handymen or specific contractors who may have “used” materials that could reinforce her and make her more comfortable?
Our stories drive me insane – I don’t like feeling HELPLESS. I want to fight and each one of us taking one small step towards one another – can be compounded – and like the “faith of a mustard seed” do great things.
Oh why wasn’t I born independently wealthy and with means? I see so much wasted.

Coming up on a year since Jen got sick..
Jen’s hubby, and Kitten, were convinced to embrace adding alternative medicines 😉😉and home grown or sorta-nearby-farm-raised-only, food 🤗🙏, to her chemo treatment. (Discretion required, S.I.L. is employed by the Commonwealth..)
She is finally beginning to feel better. Jen is, for the first time in a few months, awake all day and mentally oriented, eating small daily meals, and walking, even outside, with her rollater. Going so far as to venture out to float in the pool with the whole family for her birthday last week. Her monstrous headaches are gone which I am most grateful for that, as I cannot bear to watch my child suffer in pain.

Savannah has been FOUND and she is home safely.
It was part of an remarkable rescue where an intuitive and “paying attention” General Manager of an Indianapolis Taco Bell… literally saved her life.
The coordination, timing, logistics.. were outrageously God’s Full Intervention.
ER last night found toxicology and pregnancy results negative. Eval at mental wellness clinic on hospital’s premises discharged her with plan for outpatient treatment and therapy.
She’s been through a lot. Every person’s worst nightmare, but she never left The Lord and for this Independence Day… God Is Granting Freedom to captives.
Through Savannah, one boy Ayden has been rescued and another Thomas is under way as we speak.
I will be writing about this on substack to give all the details… there are SO MANY JUST MIRACLES UPON MIRACLES.
But right now, we are concentrating on stabilizing Savannah. I’ll try to post some pictures.

Oh Woo, I am crying tears of pure motherly joy at this news. I am praising God for His answering the many prayers of all the treepers for you and Savannah. I will continue to pray for both of you to regain your strength and move forward with healing, emotionally, mentally and physically. It will happen, I’m sure, as our God is a miracle working God and will continue to work His miracles in your and Savannah’s life. It will, of course, be on God’s time frame not ours. She genuinely looks happy to be home.
I have also sent prayers up for all those involved in finding Savannah and also those who noticed her and took action. Again, thoroughly convinced, divine intervention at it’s most holy and merciful!

She didn’t come home on her own. We had to go get her. Harrowing.
For now, she’s resting and will be convalescing for a few weeks. Therapy for a while.
We are seeing this as a possible ministry but must get well first.
I’ll write more as I can find time on the substack. It’s just so much that I’ve not been able write it down.

He never fails. Savannah got baptized again out there despite already being baptized. She stayed close to God.
She told me she just couldn’t break free or find her voice. She told me she was trying to telepathically reach me and she said she was trying to use code words… but she used all the wrong words to make me think to let her go…
But when I saw her Della… her smile was incredible. And her eyes are clear and she’s vindicated with all the sores in her body not being drugs but likely malnutrition that prevents her from effectively healing. We will take care of those.
She calls me “Mom Mom” and it makes my heart overflow with joy.

God Is all over this. And He’s all over everything. We just can’t see sometimes that setbacks are actually setups for future use.
For instance, my wrongful termination June 3rd.. opened me fully to pivot, react, and assert as I needed to do to navigate this really complicated matter. God’s Hand was in all of it.
I pray that through my sharing, it will bolster hope. We have a long way to go, but with God all things are possible.

Moving is still a possibility and may actually be a good thing right now. Late July is timeline for that and lease is up in October 2026… but i have to give 60 day notice going out staying.
I am beside myself with joy for you, woorior!!!
I think in a blessed way, there was a reason you lost your job.
You need this time joan. There is a reason you have this time off.
Four other people said similar things. Something that felt like a terrible disaster to me… was actually an integral thing in saving her. I simply could not have done both my job and this. It started Monday night and took into yesterday… and now there’s still so much to do. This is no rest and this is no vacation.
Outpatient therapy, police reports, making sure she doesn’t run out there again, or them find her here.
She had gone to Dallas for 11 days and thank God returned. It is astonishing how someone with zero means can run in this system and just be a vagabond. She survived out there 11 months.
I’m thinking boot camp for the military should be a cinch right about now. Sleeping in tents in the dead of winter. Walking in the boots she had until the soles literally fell off… when she has probably fifty pairs of good shoes at home.
It makes no sense to me.
What i don’t understand is the allure of it all? As if it is the thrill of cheating death.
Oh my goodness… I could write for days and days… and it’s 3 AM and I’ve much much to do.
I’m wondering if she’ll ever go camping with me again… because what triggers would that pose? I might as well sell all I own and just find a new life for us.
It’s surreal.

Oh Joe, I am so very tired. The adrenaline rush or should I say cortisol overload is real.
Tonight there were discussions of ordeals and it’s the stuff no one wants to hear.
She’s told me that touching her feet, placing a hand on her back, hugging her… are all terrible triggers. It sounds as though she was frightened to the point of seizures. She’s sleeping with a night light on and her dreams are nightmares.
I asked her to try to name five good memories and she couldn’t… so I helped her. I told her if she wanted to remember.. to ask me and I would help her.
I’m so very angry. So angry that terrible choices could allow such terrible things to happen. Angry that there are people that prey. Angry that 20 years of parenting and memories seem to be gone and I must earn the right to hug my daughter again.
I’m split between nurturing and not giving into a victim mentality. I’m so very exhausted.
Trying to make the point that “rules” don’t mean “control” and some rules are there to keep one safe when she’s been so very unsafe. I told her unsafe leads to death and she simply must choose life.
I’m uncertain how I’m going to work and still be able to tend to her needs? I’m wondering how long it will be that she will be so fragile?
She vascillates from wanting to avoid smart phones and devices to insisting on another one again because she can play music on it and watch YouTube when she’s too scared to go to sleep. It’s 2:14 AM and she couldn’t go to sleep because at midnight they’d be out walking through downtown with these gangs of kid thugs… and she is drawn to it. Like the perpetual Lost Boys of Peter Pan.
I can’t possibly write all that’s happened since Monday but boy I need to… because it’s keeping me focused and grounded.
I know this: God Is Sovereign. God Has Purpose. And He Will Give me strength.
I would think after 20 years of good parenting… that I would have credibility, yet it seems I must earn my credibility again… and I’m dog tired. I’m thinking I need the padded room… or an incredibly long vacation.
When you lament not having children, you can console yourself that sometimes it’s a mixed bag.

Please pray for the Taco Bell General Manager who saved my daughter. His name is Timothy and this whole ordeal with Savannah has really moved him emotionally. He tried all day today to free Thomas too… a 24 yo traveling with this group of individuals Savannah was in.
Thomas kept trying to get my number but we can’t put the two of them together because he expressed the desire to pull my daughter back in. Thomas relied too heavily on Savannah for his direction. His family is in Idaho and Florida. We need to get him back to Idaho, but I couldn’t leave my daughter to help.
Timothy is really affected and I can tell this is really hard on him. He’s very very angry and wants these perpetrators in jail. I assured him that we will get them… we just have to get back to the police station on Monday… but we really needed this weekend for calm for Savannah.
Savannah is very easily triggered.
Please pray for Timothy and his bravery and how strongly he is reacting. I will be keeping in contact with him and I’ve written a letter to YUMBrands expressing our eternal thanks and what a special young man they have employed.
But Thomas has to find a way to disconnect and be objective and be patient because freeing these kids is a process and they have to want their freedom.
This is so hard. This is total brain washing and it’s malicious. I’ve never seen anything like it… but most would never want to see what I’ve witnessed these last 15 months in total with the grooming and luring and the last 11 months with my daughter gone.
There is absolutely no way to do this without God. No way.
Pray for Timothy’s heart and I’ll encourage him to seek some counseling too so that he can focus on the blessings and not the tragedies. God love his soul.
He is our hero. God Is our Comfort.

I can’t go into more details here, because there are too many to write. I must centralize my writing for fatigue purposes.
I want you all to know to CONTINUE TO PRAY because we are seeing more movement at delivering people from this crime ring.
We are going to get these criminals!
Our prayers now are for:
1) outpatient therapy assessment Monday morning
2) we will be filing police report then with human trafficking division and they’ll assign detective to Savannah’s case. We must try to lead investigators to the 4 small children aged 9 mos to 5 yrs. I believe the mother is a prostitute and separately, but related… the woman that was hidden here in my home from January… Rebecca and her husband KJ… and this Crystal from recently… are the ringleaders. They are all connected.
3) Thomas in the group is trying to break free. I’ve not heard his status. His family is in Idaho and Florida.
4) It’s possible Tristain is trying to break free as well and return to his family in Louisville Kentucky
These people are dangerous… Rebecca and her husband KJ know where we live.
We have a plan if we need to go somewhere else to hide temporarily.

This is a funny story… in light of our current state… but Savannah’s very favorite shoe store sold pepper spray in lipstick tubes. We have a couple of them in our personal armory… but I thought it quite clever as a clandestine deterrent… as long as you have it with you.
When living among the homeless – it is difficult to sustain your things – either by theft or being forced to shed your things due to being moved from place to place. That is why you don’t often see homeless people in the summer with their heavy winter coats.
This gives a perspective as we consider our donations to coat drives etc… that we think the homeless person should be able to handle holding onto a good coat/gloves/hat set… we take such for granted as we tuck ours safely into our luxury closets. This experience has changed my thinking, and in my future giving style… drastically.
They don’t exactly have lockers… so often much is lost and in an instant circumstances may change rapidly and thus you’re forced to abandon your things.
She was moved from Indiana to Dallas, Texas for 11 days and only through God’s grace and mercy did she return here.
It amazes me how long she sustained out there and how God’s Eye is on the sparrow.
Ahhh dear sis… if only we could carry all our goods on our backs. As for home… I feel confidant.
I think back how restrained and instinctively trained I was in January while under extreme duress (I can’t believe I didn’t shoot anyone when they were inside my home – I think I might regret that a little now seeing as I learned later what we were dealing with – it was so hard to know what was rebellion and what was coercion)… and through the two day extraction this past week… in how I was working with the restaurant manager to remain calm, navigate, pivot, and when to apply pressure and when to pause so as not to lose communication progress… and observance and situational awareness when they started to try to hide her again by swapping out the SIM cards making it very hard to track who I was talking to and when. They had her phone and wallet and with wallet that meant ID and SS card.
Lord have mercy.
There’s no “manual” for this and I think these details are incredibly important to master… how to talk to them… what to do… when to mobilize and when to high tail it. It is only by God’s Divine Holy Spirit that I headed to that police substation… and I was only 12 minutes away.
And what i did to prepare here before I left should something have gone south to protect our home against entry.

Also… this is one of the miracles… my dead military police father came to Savannah and he told her “Your mom’s coming for you”… Savannah said he was her guardian angel.
I like to think he maybe guided me too as I prepared quickly for whatever might come up. It’s those little details removing my firearm from the car, hiding the debit card, hiding the house key, removing the garage door opener… because remember, if they get your car, they have your address from your insurance info and registration, and your opener to get into your home.
Firearms should never be restricted anywhere… 2A all the way,. I don’t think I could live anywhere else at this point in time. Politicians trying to steal our 2A rights should be treated as traitors.
“These people are dangerous . . .” Indeed, they are dear ‘Woo. I know we’ve talked about being armed, so I won’t bring that up again—you already know. However, you are in a situation that could instantly turn into A Very Bad Thing.
I don’t normally recommend this to folks, don’t even own one myself, but I strongly recommend that you get a good gun-safe. The bio-metric kind are very good because they need your finger-print to open. So, even if you’re not in the house, your gun will be safe. You and Savannah take care, love. 🙂

I am armed. I also have a safe place established to hide for a few days of it’s needed.
I was so grateful to have not hurt anyone in January when we found her the first time and she stashed one of the perpetrators in her closet.
Knowing what I know now… and what has happened to Savannah at the hands of these women… I won’t hesitate to defend her by whatever means possible next time.
The stories are awful. These people are going to prison for a very long time.
Pray we get them all.
Side note… when savannah was much younger.. she and I took a self defense class. She refused to grapple with the instructor directly, which I lamented… because she needed to feel what it was like to be “confined” and break free. But she watched… and she used the pressure point methods on more than occasion to break free from strangulation.
I’m sorry.. I know that’s vivid… it’s light considering the stories I’m hearing and what has happened to her. She put up a fight and she put down many men who tried. Some successfully… others not… but she survived 11 months “out there”.
I pray she never goes out there again… that she’ll realize these “friends” are not friends and there are those who actually KEEP PEOPLE HOMELESS TO USE THEM.

I, too, will be undergoing some therapy at some point. I know I’ll need it… but for now… she’s the center of my everything and I won’t leave her side.

From what you have written, and her photos, I am strongly concerned that she needs to be evaluated by someone experienced with dealing with SRA.
Flora.. there’s a few things that need to be addressed… I now understand what complex PTSD is. I don’t think SRA is a concern because she had a remarkable will to live. But we will go through all with the therapists… plural.

She lost her journal in the home they were evicted from. There were 12 people in there, two dogs and a cat with kittens and one of the ringleaders had multiple animal cruelty charges and she’s the reason they were evicted from the NGO Street To Home project.
I can’t imagine what’s within her journal she left behind. Maybe it will find its way back to us. She was writing and praying to God today with her new Bible and journals this evening.

She was upset the new Bible didn’t have the study version within it… but she has mine.
Our things, including all our books, are still in boxes from the flooring replacement and I’ve not the stamina to unpack or feel comfort in settling in here again. Not out of fear, just out of steam and none of her former clothes fit her.
We dug out a few art supplies.
We went through dresser drawers to inventory today and piece a few things together. She had a beautiful wardrobe and with another 5 lbs… she will see a small portion of it again. The rest, she’ll have as she ages and it will serve her well in her future.

There are so many logistics to cover. Right now I’m trying to figure out how to work through this… I simply can’t leave her. Not right now. The urges are too great for her and the idea she could leave, or open the door and bring them in… I have surveillance cameras… but all they do… is just tell you what you can’t stop remotely.
Therapy intake tomorrow. Pray for fast availability. I heard first appointment was August… we can’t wait that long.
Praying for good things to happen…for peace and love for the both of you…strength and sanity, too.
I honestly don’t know and can’t imagine what this all entails…but the Good Lord has not dropped you now, so things will happen, with His blessing.

We come to You with all kinds of prayers and petitions, needs for healing, wisdom and discernment.
Father, I just thank You for being meticulous in Your Attention to every detail, every nuance, and every strategy that You Direct to guide our steps. Your Works are truly astonishing and I pray that every person reading this posting will commit this scripture to memory, right now:
Romans 8:28 “All” things work for the GOOD of those who love Him and who are called according to His Purpose.
So, Father, when they lose that job, are moved from positions of presumed stability, undergo what seems life-altering or even life-ending circumstances… may they take a step back, look up to Your Face, and defer to You what Your Intention and Meaning is to all our circumstances.
May they ask themselves “What could God be saving me from in this?”
Let the words in the Book of Job give them comfort that the circumstances they are in… may very well be through no fault of their own… and simply are used to give rise to testimony of grace under pressure. It may not be “about us”, but rather what observers see in us.
May they have blessed assurance that through all things… You Can… and You Will… turn them all for good despite our finite wisdom.
We “think we know”, Father, like obstinate, petulant teenagers… just how our stories should go…or the outcomes we expect… what foolish, foolish children we are sometimes, God. Please forgive us when we deny Your Sovereignty and we get clumsily in Your Way… requiring our future contrite Spirit and ask for Your forgiveness… again… because we never to seem to learn. We are just so small-minded and Your Ways are truly beyond our wildest comprehension.
Father God, would I prefer the abatement of suffering… that this cup would passeth from me…. sure, I would. Even Jesus, both God and man, took His suffering to You for relief in Gethsemane… but it was always… YOUR WILL and not mine… be done.
Thank You for Your kindness and mercy on me as I told You how I thought Your Will should be done.
Today, we gladly lift our crosses in whatever form they take with full knowledge that You Will eventually end our suffering when Your Divine Purposes are fulfilled.
We can’t wait to see what You Will Do.

God Morning,
Savannah is doing really, really well. Her wounds are healing beautifully – definitely malnutrition contributing to those not healing properly. Astounding at how what we ingest in our bodies can either weaken or strengthen our immune system and healing capacity.
We have to go slow. She has experienced malnutrition for a long time – so though she eats and wants to do so frequently now that she has ample food – her stomach betrays her at it learns to stretch and receive. Easy does it – steady wins the race. She’s gained two pounds since she’s been home a week.
We are beginning the arduous task of identifying trauma counseling programs.
One we immediately dismissed yesterday – though we were on phone conference – talk about “not reading the room”. She insisted that any care they provided Savannah would have to be on her own phone. We gently pushed back that this is how “we got into this mess in the first place under no circumstances was Savannah ready to engage in interacting with any devices at this time”. Savannah was like “absolutely not!” – because there is strong and understandable fear for these perpetrators to find her again. Two of them know where we live.
So, not just no – it was a “hell no!” and we both concluded that we were done talking with this woman.
I couldn’t believe what I strong internal reaction I had. It is very clear that I have PTSD, as well, and we will be pursuing some level of treatment for myself, as well, as Savannah gets situated and is stabilized… but we absolutely refuse to allow anyone involved with her care and concern to make us, in any way, shape, or form, uncomfortable.
Nope nope nope.
We have one lead today for trauma care services who Savannah has personal connection to through her volunteering through her former Christian school and the time with the therapeutic horseback riding center she was associated with. We are most hopeful with them and look forward to speaking to their director later today.
I have done some research and have Savannah on a supplement regimen for PTSD and sleep and she’s sleeping well with fewer nightmares: Morning: Vitamin D3, vitamin K1, and Methyl-B12; Nightime: L-Theanine, 2400 mg Fish Oil Omega-3 rich, Magnesium Glycinate.
There are a lot of scams and gimmicks out there – so it’s important to invest time and resources wisely for the best care. I understand there are organizations with “big names” that have established themselves as non-governmental organizations – but really – through what I am experiencing – they all say the same thing and pass along the same 800 phone numbers – so I am deeply questioning what they are doing to lend to helping the cause with all their money and supporters. It feels very scammy to me.
The best help is local – and the active hands and feet of Jesus – working directly 1:1 with these victims.
I will be writing more content on my Substack – as I dig deeper an try to make sense of all of this
Remember, the firefighters told my daughter that there are those in the homeless shelter community – who may pose and present as friends – whose interest is actually to keep her homeless. We are also seeing those who want to choose to keep her a victim. We reject them.
Also, the police of their own devices would have done nothing to save my daughter. I will go toe-to-toe and argue that to my grave! The only thing that saved my daughter was the PUBLIC in two neighboring restaurants who watched this all go down and FORCED THE AUTHORITIES TO ACT by watching their every move. I hope to be able to work to change this, as there were a handful of honest police officers and investigators I spoke with – as well as Directors of homeless shelters – who confided their hands were tied politically. That must stop!

I’ve been sending prayer requests through to JGM but they have a character limit… so have to be really concise.
Also, care needs to be boots on the ground here in Indiana.
We have a really good lead with Ascent 121 and meet with them by phone tomorrow at 10 AM.

I keep thinking about one of those week long, if not a month, of a healing retreat/workshop in a place out in nature. They combine a little of everything to restore and heal w/other folks in similar situations. They are incredibly expensive though.
We used to do weekend retreats for returning veterans, it was helpful. Was it a cure? No, but it taught some coping skills, offered a safe place to speak of their experiences, to get out and do fun activities. They would arrive scared, a few almost zombie like, and by Sunday they were smiling and hugging w/tears of joy because they found some relief. One of the best experiences of my life to witness and be part of.
The PEAC group has a retreat planned for this October in one of those places with Dr Coleman who is renown authority on estrangement. But we are talking about a $10k retreat plus air care to Pennsylvania or Maine.. I can’t remember where it is going to be held.
We simply can’t afford that as much as it’s a really nice idea. It astounds me the cost of resources.
One counseling option recommended by Focus on the Family is $175 first treatment, $155 for each thereafter… for each person.
I’m unemployed right now and no health insurance… so we must be frugal to sustain ourselves as my lease here isn’t up until October.
We aren’t vacationing… I wish. A little witness protection program would be a nice respite right now.
I don’t understand the high costs as these providers surely know that by the time a patient and family, are lucky enough to get to this point…that financial resources are depleted…along with the stress placed on a person’s job if a person is lucky enough to have one.
Apologies JWoo. My intention was to put the wish/hope out there that a retreat/workshop will happen for you and Savannah, since yes, I know how expensive they can be but I will not give up hope. I will stick to saying prayers for the two of behind my closed door:)

Please – no apologies. We are learning about the “process” in this day by day. I had a pretty bad start to the morning. Been holding up pretty well, but this morning I had a nightmare that two men were after Savannah and the word within the dream was that I “had stolen property of theirs”. We also had a triggering event with one of the trauma care providers trying to push Savannah back onto her own phone – which is entirely out of the question right now. I don’t care if you change the SIM cards on these smart phones – the minute she enters her personal email address on ANY device – all the contacts – even those presumed blocked and deleted – come flooding back on. We are being very vigilant about access.
So LMGA – there are many things and services we believe are out there – or that we think should be a foregone conclusion – but that’s not necessarily the case.
We applied for FSSA welfare help yesterday. Kiddo has health insurance post-partem for the next 12 months. She was impregnated with twins and lost the babies on March 29th. She will have that health insurance for the next 12 months post recovery.
We qualified for food stamp assistance – we are safe food-wise, as I had been prepping through Covid and it became a bit of a lifestyle. I do a lot to fortify things and “in the event of emergency” – well, here we are.
Money-wise – TANF – we did not qualify. Unemployment is giving me $330 net a week until I can find a job and get back to work. It is my prayer that we will be able to find me employment from home so that I can stay here with Savannah – as I do not feel comfortable, at all, leaving her alone.
It is not enough to cover our expenses – I had enough money to cover all expenses through July – but I must be incredibly careful. I have also been given my lease renewal and if I sign a 14 month renewal – it will only raise my rent $120 a month – to $2,120/month. Smaller apartments are going for $1500 plus a month for our general area – and the market rate for my current apartment is $2400/month. I have to give an answer back to them by the end of this month with a 60 day notice if we are staying and going.
Two of the perpetrators know where we live. We had talked in the past about a relocation to Texas – and now that Savannah has experienced Dallas – she wants to go there. I am not certain that’s a good idea until she has been adequately counseled and healed. I don’t want to make sudden moves that compound our concerns.
Plus, there’s security deposits, moving company, and securing employment.
It’s “a lot” for me right now – to have the normal concerns of day-to-day and yet be entirely focused on securing therapy services for Savannah.
But God.
And the alternative – that my daughter might not have made it home – I much prefer the concerns at hand than the uncertainty of the unknown. And thus – we PRAY AND PRAISE!
I’m going to share a song with you – that is celebratory!!!! This is how I feel. Savannah and I have seen numerous Christian concerts together. Some of the music and her prayers – sustained her throughout.
I see “God in every-little-thing, all day, and every beat of my heart – keeps reminding me.”
So get your hands UP and let’s do a little worship together, okay!!!!

Savannah’s care through Ascent 121 for trauma crisis therapy – will be free of charge for her. They are supported through corporate and private sponsorships. Praise God! She will be assigned a therapist early next week.
