It’s a simple word, “out.” It conveys multiple meanings depending on the context when used.
The rock seems unbreakable; many have hammered it before, but it remains there as a monolith, an immovable object unfazed by all the blows that take place. The ‘sword in the stone’, just reversed. Each deliberate spectator picks up the axe and strikes the rock. Each hoping to yield the blow that finally fractures it.
It is wise to remember, the blow that eventually breaks the rock is not singular. In the immediacy of the moment, the glory befalls the last holder of the axe; yet, in reality, the last blow benefits from the invisible weakening provided by prior strikes. It is wise to remember the history; the entirety of the effort.

I decided to trust the president’s judgement when he nominated Tulsi for DNI, but her past still means we should watch her carefully. She was a card-carrying socialist/Democrat when she was in Congress. Her positions while a Congressional Democrat, all of which are far left, were often to the left of Bernie Sanders: Ban “Assault Weapons”, $15/hr. minimum wage, Yes to reparations, No electoral college, No fossil fuels, No nuclear energy, No limits on abortion, Yes to Medicare for all, Citizenship for “dreamers”. When has she publicly repudiated these positions? (She hasn’t.) On 2/21/22 Tulsi’s name still appeared on Klaus Schwab’s WEF Young Global Leaders list. Less than a month later her name was scrubbed from that list there. She remained a member of the Socialist Democrat Party until 30 days out from the mid-term election cycle in 2022. She is a Klaus Schwab-trained ‘global leader’ whether she still appears on their web site or not. Perhaps she has honestly had a change of heart and mind about her past political beliefs, but she has not yet publicy repudiated them. My hope is that having been a key member of a Republican administration who has had the full confidence of the most consequential president of our lifetimes will have caused her to rethink her past socialist beliefs. Until she does, I’m wary of her.

Who digs alcoholics out of their self-destructive addiction better than former alcoholics? What did Peter say of himself and his life before encountering Christ?
I was a social liberal, barely out of my teens, when I entered San Francisco State in the early ’60’s. I am the son of an alcoholic and was on that path until I entered AlAnon. I was a a hideous sinner, ashamed of my dark past, until I encountered Christ and became filled with His spirit. Today my past and what I know firsthand becomes the instruments by which the Lord uses me to serve others.
As I read Tulsi’s testimony of her social/political awakening, I see inner truths that cannot be faked. You have to have been there to understand. I implore you and anybody else who might be apprehensive, rest easy. Tulsi is genuine, courageous, and trustworthy in where she stands.
I just don’t see that happening. I think she learned her lesson identifying as and dealing with that bunch of criminals. And I would vote for her in a heartbeat.

I remember the videos coming out of China. The afflicted would be at work, suddenly have a seizure and fall to the ground shaking/seizing. Suddenly they were dead. They never got up. We were told that was COVID-19 but I never saw a video of the US version of Covid creating the seizure and sudden death that the Chinese Covid did. Still many unanswered questions. Why was our manifestation of Covid so different? Yes I believe that something exists and we call it Covid. I believe because it was in my house. Nobody died. Personally I prefer a very public trial and prison but perhaps people who intentionally murder other humans deserve what you suggest.
That was odd. They also released videos of people shopping at the mall and suddenly keeling over. In retrospect, perhaps the CCP was spiking folks’ food with cyanide or something to create those videos.
