The authorities – including the Houses of Parliament – have known about rape – or grooming – gangs for thirty years! Is this MP really going to try and pretend that the “evil” to which he makes reference “just happened” as if it fell out of the sky? I’ve seen and heard some whoppers from politicians in my time, especially when it comes to evading responsibility for bad things, but this takes the cake. The Hon. Mr. Lowe knows perfectly well that each and every one of those criminals was let into Britain by the very ruling class to which he belongs! He may not be culpable, but he won’t have far to look for those who are.

There are many situations in the US, although not as horrific as this yet, are bad. In Portland, Oregon where someone gets arrested over 200 times and is continually put back on the streets. Or where the former Governor used Covid to put felons back on the streets.
If a flyover denizen in the US has been reading about these grooming gangs and gang rapes in the UK for twenty + years then it wasn’t very effectively covered up.
But the U.K. government did a great job of turning away so they didn’t have to acknowledge seeing. I could never figure out why.
