I was with family in a mall. We were enjoying the snacks for sale in the many kiosks. I was done with my snack and showed my family that Michael Jordan never met me on the basketball court. I made the shot of my wadded up paper trash and missed by a mile. The wadded up trash landed at the feet of a gentlemen that I didn’t see before that. It was the mall janitor checking trash bins. I felt like the biggest piece of trash thinking it was disrespectful to him. I apologized and apologized many many times as I ran over and picked it up and put into the trash. I explained I wanted to show the fam how awesome I was and I didn’t mean to disrespect the guy.
He waited for me to stop apologizing and said to me, “don’t feel sorry for me. You didn’t disrespect me. I heard your bullshit and was waiting to see if your skills were as good as you say and they are obviously not. Don’t feel sorry for me. I’m in a union getting paid $30.00 an hour, a pension and medical benefits for my family that are better than yours.” I met his smile with a smile, shook his hand and said “we’re good” while looking him in the eye turned to my family to walk away as they started heckling me for missing the trash can by a mile. I looked back and he was laughing at me.

When I saw the Mona Lisa at the Louvre, it was a great disappointment. The entire room of guests were focused on the painting that was like 11” x 14”, while on the opposite side of the room there was a life sized painting of a battle scene at least 360” x 180”.
