A highly disturbing video out from yesterday’s “Raise the Colors” protest in Sheffield city center, shows police engaged in physical confrontations with protestors. During one viral video, an aggressive police officer (center of still image below) grabs the young man with the flag on his shoulders and throws him violently into a steel and concrete bollard on the sidewalk.
The video shared on X platform (below) is very disturbing. The force of the body slam into the bollard appears to show the protestors head hitting the steel, which is significantly bent after the blow when the protester hits the ground.
The officer who slammed the man into the bollard seems to immediately notice something terrible, as do the officers who quickly rush in to surround the victim. The aggressive police officer then begins to back away as other police tend to the medical condition of the man on the sidewalk.
Given the force of the blow, as reflected in the bending of the bollard, there are now fast spreading rumors on the X platform that the protester was killed. Again, the status of the victim is unknown as no official statement has been made by Sheffield police or local authorities.
People are now demanding to know what the current status of the protestor is.

Almost every state in the US has already passed or is considering similar legislation. Much of this effort is being sold to conservatives as prevent children from interacting with pornography and predators and is therefore not being given the scrutiny it deserves.
As I’ve said repeatedly – the state/government needs to stay out of the business of raising children. It’s the parents’ responsibility to do so – full stop. There are more than ample means for parents to protect their children from anything on the internet they wish to.
Anyone – regardless of their political views – should be against any such insanity and restrictions upon ANY American. Once upon a time even leftists understand the severe danger of government censorship and restrictions of any kind.
As always – any time the government pushes something as being about “safety” or “convenience” the people should run in the other direction.

I am not condoning the action of the police officer. But the videos don’t show what was happening before.
There was another officer grappling with the flag draped protester. We dont know why. The 2nd officer saw the citizen fighting with the first officer, and had been watching them when the video begins.
When they break apart, the 2nd officer seeks to subdue the citizen, gets him in a headlock and us using the momentum of the headlock to bring him to the ground.
As fast as they were moving horizontally, I doubt the 2nd officer even knew the bollard was there. It may be that, in the heat of battle, what was intended to bring escalation of violence to a standstill — turned into a far more injurious action resulting in serious head injury and possible death.
I don’t think we can conclude the officer intentionally bashed the citizens head into the bollard.
This doesn’t fit the narrative of this post, and I have high respect for Sundance and the Treepers here. But in the interest of objectivity, and with family members in law enforcement, I don’t think we can claim intended brutality yet
For now, I agree in that it seems unlikely this was intended to cause serious bodily injury or death. It was however, a most forceful and abrupt takedown. Forensically, I don’t see a clear intent to maim or cause death.

The police officer needs to be doxxed. Really though the UK needs to be invaded by the USA and liberated.
If they thought the subjects were upset about Henry Nowak, and the stabbing victim (haven’t seen his name?), this will surely not go well now.
Hopefully the UK ‘subjects’ see the light and realize the crummy representatives they have now do not have their best interest at heart and changes get made.
I’m hoping this ‘officer’ didn’t aim the guy at the bollard, but he definitely took it way further than he would’ve if it were an ‘approved’ protester, so to speak. He knew he was going to take the guy down by serious force… and for what?.. I’ve yet to see any video of that kid doing anything other than brandishing a flag and ‘protesting’, which the Left usually seem to just love… unless its the ‘wrong’ kind of protesting: the kind that doesn’t support the globalist agenda. If it turns out the kid tried to harm/stab/attack someone, then I’ll modify my view perhaps.
In general though, this shows the hate/disdain in the ranks of those who claim to be peace officers.. more of the same hateful disregard that led to the tragic handling of Nowak.

Not sure if this link will work, but it would appear that the man is alive at least at the end of this video… you can see him on the ground being drug away by the police and I’d assume getting cuffed. Thankfully, no obvious harm appears to have befallen him. I’d still like to see a medical update, hitting a pole like that can cause a concussion!

The police watchdog will not investigate the events surrounding the arrest of a teenager at a protest in Sheffield, after ruling it did not meet the mandatory referral criteria.
The 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault following an alleged attack on an officer in the city centre on Saturday.
An initial report suggested he had lost consciousness and, in line with procedure, South Yorkshire Police referred itself to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
However, following a review of footage, the IOPC said there was no evidence the teenager had lost consciousness and the referral was returned to the force.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said an internal review had also been carried out by the professional standards department and no further action would be taken.
“We understand there may be times when the force used by our officers may appear concerning, particularly when viewed out of context,” they said.
“While officers, including in this case, will always look to utilise other operational means where they can, use of reasonable force remains an important tactic for them when carrying out their role of law enforcement.”
