LA Mayoral Candidate Spencer Pratt has dropped to third place and will not make the runoff. Leftist city council member Nithya Raman, who previously conceded defeat, has now leaped into second place after winning approximately 40% of all mail-in ballots received in the past few days. A stunning, remarkable, incredible and some say unbelievable outcome.
There are still several days of ballot counting ahead. After all, the creation of ballots takes time and resources, and as noted by several people in/around the LA area, locally sourced, artisanal ballots can take much longer to be grown and curated.
With an estimated 83% of the post-election ballots now received, Nithya Raman’s concession is null and void. Her campaign must wipe away the tears and restart efforts toward the general election. Remarkable.

What a difference a week can make. However, that said, this California ballot approach has been happening since election year 2018.
Remember, in 2016 California Democrats hired former U.S. AG Eric Holder to assist them with voting constructs. The legislature then passed ballot harvesting and universal mail ballot laws; which were signed by Democrat governor Jerry Brown. However, the 2016 presidential election created some panic amid those who organized new ballot creation, mailing and harvesting efforts.
Following the Trump presidential win and fearing a new administration might cross reference the voter rolls to the AB60 laws that linked the ballot creation to illegal alien DMV registration; following the advice of Eric Holder, Governor Brown, Attorney General Xavier Becerra and Secretary of State Alex Padilla quickly deleted the AB60 administrative code that would have permitted cross referencing.
As a result, in 2018 the mail-in ballots became the primary process to create election outcomes. Every race in California now follows the same script. A Republican leads on election night; a slow count begins; the lead shrinks daily and finally the republican loses weeks later.
There were seven House seats in 2018 alone that followed this exact pattern. All in one direction. Never reversed.
Since election year 2018, there has not been one single race in California where the slow counting of mail-in ballots didn’t take away a Republican victory by the end of the process. This is by design. This is exactly why Eric Holder was hired to assist the State of California in setting up their election system.
The Attorney General who set up the ballot construct with Eric Holder is now the leading candidate for California governor. Becerra is likely to face Tom Steyer in the 2026 general election for governor. Though there is some possibility the British guy will be allowed on the November ballot in order to give the patina of credibility.
There’s still a couple more weeks of ballot curation ahead for the governor’s race.
Californians get what they deserve, because they tolerate it. If you do not demand election integrity, you will never get it. If you allow someone to steal you blind, you won’t see a thing.

You are correct, slowcobra. It isn’t as simple or open as being denied access to a polling place.
The cheating goes on behind the scenes, and when law enforcement tries to seize the voting materials (machines, ballots, etc) to do an investigation, California passes a law (SB 73) that makes it illegal for law enforcement to carry out such an investigation without a court order. And just in case a judge might be inclined to give a court order, the process of getting the court order would be long enough to hide or doctor some of the evidence.
Two words: CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE.
Even if an investigation were to get underway quickly enough to start to gather any proof of election fraud, a Leftist judge would step in and immediately shut it down and order any evidence that might have been gathered to be sealed. By the time the judge might be overruled, it would be months down the road and all but impossible to restart the investigation and prove anything.
It is too late for California conservatives to fix this. And of course, too many have long ago packed up and left. Any possible fixes can only come from the federal level. Congress, SCOTUS, DOJ lawsuits, but none of that will produce positive results any time soon – but it must all be pursued. And in the mean time the California Leftists behind all this know it is unlikely they will ever suffer any negative consequences and for now can safely continue doing what they are doing.
If you (and perhaps the rest of us) do nothing, then yes, it ultimately comes down to armed rebellion. Unfortunately I think we as in the entire United States is closer to armed rebellion and civil war than many think. I will not morn dead democrats. They are a cancer in our country. I moved out of California several years ago. Now I am in VA and watching similar patterns in Fairfax County. This is not just about California – voting is now a CRIMINAL enterprise in many states.
The word DISENFRANCHISED has mistakenly become a synonym for black voters in this country, thanks to the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s. But, in truth, California’s voters have been truly disenfranchised for years. So have many Virginia voters. Trump’s DOJ really needs to step in on this national problem.

I have long been of the opinion that the progressives (marxists, socialists, and other “leftists”) will continue to do what they do until such time as they’re reliably and consistently placed on the business end of their own tactics. Therefore, if conservatives (and other “rightists” generally) want to shut this cheating down, then we ought to meet the progressives on their own field and repeatedly and convincingly beat them at their own game.
If the left want to mass-mail and harvest ballots, then the right ought to start developing ways to intercept those ballots and harvest them ourselves. And if the left chooses to complain because they’re now losing insecure elections, well, then maybe they’ll finally agree to some reasonable election security reforms.

There is no innocent explanation for Raman to get a disproportionate number of votes after election day when compared to Bass. There was no way the democrats were going to allow a Pratt – Bass runoff. Pratt was far too effective in his primary campaigning… putting up with his attacks for the next 4 months was just too risky for the party. He had to come in third so he couldn’t be in the November runoff. Gavin Newsom stated a few days ago that it was time to “break the glass”. Does anyone not know what that means?
This is not much different than what happened to Tina Peters in Colorado 2022 primary for SOS. If I recall correctly she was a 60 point favorite the day before primary election. Everything pointed to a “hands down” win. She barely pulled in over the third place with only 20 something percent. Trump needs to order an invasion of CA to remove the government and restore democracy in the state. Military trials would be in order!!
