Tomorrow, U.S. distillate inventories will likely fall under 100 million barrels for the first time in over 20 years, exacerbated by high exports due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. This is a powder keg waiting to go off if a deal to reopen the Strait doesn’t happen soon.

Handing the Democrats a winning narrative right before an election is not a winning strategy. Democrats are running on reducing oil and gas prices, reducing interest rates and inflation. F. Mortgage rates have inched up….still significantly lower than a year ago though

G. Inflation way lower under Trump than it was under Biden. Also, it is high in blue states (dem policies), but has been going down in the rest of the country:

Trump has allowed the sale of U.S. weapons to Ukraine through a plan known as the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL), in which NATO allies pay for U.S. weapons and transfer them to Ukraine. Big savings in Ukraine war costs.
Also, what we have saved due to DOGE and newly discovered fraud (and corrupt spending which has been terminated) has saved what we have spent on Iran several times over.

This latest brouhaha about the “anti-weaponization” fund is HOWEVER, inexplicable to me.
President Trump won a Lawsuit against the IRS because a contractor to the IRS released President Trump’s tax returns (it wasn’t a “smoking gun”, rather what pretty much everyone expected a Billionaire’s return to look like). So, as part of the settlement for winning the lawsuit, a fund was established of $1.776 billion and named the “anti-weaponization” fund. The fund would be available to those who claimed, like President Trump, that they had been the victim of “weaponization of the Federal Government against them”.
As soon as Acting Attorney General advised that the anti-weaponization fund was off the table, the Senate RINOs announced they had the votes to pass the reconciliation bill which would fund Immigration & Custom Enforcement and the Border Patrol.

“I told him that it was a difficult prospect right now, given our vote tallies,” Johnson told CBS News. “I understand the intent behind it was a very noble thing. … But I don’t think it was fully understood. And that’s what made it a difficult thing.”
