Why did Josh Hawley participate in keeping the Senate in session so Trump can’t make recess appointments? I thought he was one of the good guys..but I was wrong.
I understand Jim Jordan has the authority to begin impeachment of judges like Boasberg but he does nothing but talk from what I can tell.
Why doesn’t Mike Lee gather 4 more senators and try to evict Thune who is clearly going against the will of the people.
What this means is we the people have the illusion of representation and the parasites work hard to maintain the mirage. It’s been 250 years since our founders did what they had to do to free themselves from tyranny. I wonder if our current society, which has been disected into tons of rabid special interest groups, has the fortitude and wisdom of our founders.

Sounded really good until it’s not.
We all could cite many examples of the Establishment UniParty RINOS out making excellent statements and speeches of what needs to be done then send out requests for money for their next election.

Yes, past presidents have made recess appointments, up through Obama. However, it seems that in 2014, there was a dispute about the actual definition of recess over some appointments Obama made. The Supreme Court ended up ruling against Obama (whose reasoning was interestingly like ours about the sham pro forma stuff). Since then, there have been no recess appointments — for Trump 45, Biden, or so far, Trump 47. So it wasn’t just an anti-Trump thing — they have not allowed it for Dems. Here’s an explanation:

Senator Lee has stated that the odds of successfully rallying the necessary majority to replace Thune are “literally 0 in 100,000.”
No judges will be removed from the bench because 67 senators will never vote to do that. Not one senator will bring a call to oust Thune-not one. They’d have done so by now.
As I have seen lately, it seems like the one who can speak the smoothest untruths gets the vote, regardless of their past or if a politician how they vote.

I suspect that one reason that the 14,000 hours of Jan 6 video promised to be released (another lie to go along with “we are in session when we are totally gone”) is that there would be many bussed-in un-arrestables in the crowd (along with govt agents) who were the primary instigators. Who were never arrested.

They heard of an “opportunity” in Minneapolis. Apparently the “school” that was babysitting (teaching) the son was also where the parents got their “training.” I think it was the wife that let that information out after Renee was killed. IMO none of the videos made much sense – couldn’t see it well enough and I took note that the wife saw Renee off and went to the side of the road. She didn’t react to gunfire. She reacted once Renee crashed. One “news” organization showed footage taken by someone from an upper floor window in one of those grand old houses on that street. The camera was not focused on the scene below. It was scanning the upper floors across the street looking for an open window with a muzzle still sticking out? That “news” organization played that video for several days (at least 3) and nobody in the comments section said anything about the implication that I could see. Don’t blame the “wife” for disappearing with the child.
You know what I ‘didn’t’ hear? Arrests! Again its obvious whoever, whatever, is financing, instigating, are above the law. My guess would be Obama and company.

The punishment is the process, inmates will not suffer, I promise. Staff involved…they will suffer…starting with writers cramp.
For the health care staff and the ICE agents involved….the paperwork is massive with all the things that must be done, and done on certain time lines, to ensure compliance and check all the boxes on an audit form. And a little extra to keep the inmate complaints of “denial of health care” to a minimum as that falls under “denial of civil rights”. Since they are incarcerated, their civil rights are more valuable than yours or mine…..

I took care of a pod of federal inmates held at a county jail….Lemme tell ya…those dudes under the auspices of the US Marshalls or was it Secret Service? I forget…., had better health care and better food/commissary choices than the average run of the mill inmate belonging to the county.

That was my experience near to 40 years ago but in my state it’s changed in the other direction. Possibly the extra was diverted to the inbound masses. We regularly hear horror stories of denial of care in our jails, prisons and other types of facilities. I’m now hearing about the horrendous treatment in “care homes.” I would LOVE for someone with a “platform” to confront the indoctrinators on live TV why they care nothing for our domestic incarcerated horrible conditions? Why they only care for the crime tourists?

When I worked at old Joliet (of the Blues Brothers and The Fugitive fame) long ago…there was an inmate who was a diabetic and HIV, on the meds then. He kept complaining about pains and aches, swollen lymph glands…and the doctor kept ‘blowing him off’…it was a private company that provided health care (the doctor was from a country we won’t mention)…by the time the doctor ordered some labs to basically “shut the inmate up”….turned out he had Stage 4 Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and died shortly there after.
Things like that happen so much…but then the inmates use the waiting room to meet up and do gang banger stuff…
Someone from the government was talking about that on either Greg Kelly’s or Rob Schmitt’s Newsmax show. They said the dental bills, paid by the government, were breaking the bank, not just the medical bills.
In the world of pricing “health care”….’teeth’ are a luxury…and priced accordingly, or outrageously.
