Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announces her resignation as she joins with her husband Abraham to battle his cancer diagnosis.
Consequential thoughts can be set aside for a later time. Our heart expresses deep gratitude for Mrs. Gabbard’s unwavering strength, and I am certain you will all join with me in prayer for a successful treatment, fast recovery and extended life for both of them – filled with abundance and joy.
“My rock.” It is well understood.
When cancer introduces the frozen moment of fear, it is prayer that battles the dark imaginings and faith that fuels us. There is before the moment of our knowledge, and there is everything that comes next. All else moves in a blur, we become disconnected from daily challenge.
When the body is tested, faith and prayer strengthen the soul. Our battle no longer manifests in the business of things, but rather in the spirit of our faith. “With God,” is not something to say it is the core of how we fight; we lean into the source of all healing. Prayer connects us directly to the God of love who created every cell in our body.
In the battle against cancer, prayer is not the last resort it’s the beginning, the front line of hope and healing.
Heavenly Father, we have need for You today. Please provide Your healing power and grace upon Abraham Williams, the husband of Tulsi Gabbard.
Lord of mercy guide those who will now tend the affliction. We accept Your works through those You guide and love powerfully, completely and unconditionally. Our first, last and final healing is always found in You. We come to You today with our prayers for both Abraham and Tulsi, and we know You hear our prayers just as You understand our faith. We ask for Your comforting embrace of Abraham, Tulsi and those they love.
Father of strength, lift the heart of Tulsi Gabbard and fill her with fortitude, courage and the sense of safety. God that holds the stars, we ask for Your healing and grace to cover Abraham; every affliction; every wound; every trepidation and consequence. Thank You for Your mighty power that works through all things. We reach out to You knowing through every struggle Your glory is in command. We ask that You pull our prayers close and extend Your healing power. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Father, hear our prayer!
It’s amazing to think that in the beginning, many of us only “tolerated” Tulsi’s presence on the MAGA team, always looking to what we saw as a colored past, politically, not allowing for the awakening that was in front of our faces. But she has been a rock star in this administration and has the wounds from the many puerile attacks of her detractors to show for her heroic efforts.
I second the prayer – God, please extend your grace to Tulsi, who has not been shy about her public allegiance to you. Teach us how to oppose evil while never forgetting that we are people who have received your grace and show us how to extend it to others. Pour out your grace on the Gabbard family and be their healing rock at this time. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. Your will be done! In Christ’ name we pray, amen.

I wish I could pray like you, Sundance. That was touching, elegant and filled with warmth.
Thank you Sundance. I came here to post this news; so now I won’t do it.
My heart is heavy for Tulsi and her beloved Abraham upon reading this news.
Dear heavenly merciful Father, I pray you will place your healing hand upon Abraham and restore him to full health. Strengthen him and Tulsi with unwavering faith and courage as you lead them through this most difficult time. I trust in you Lord for all things and thank you for receiving my prayer. All glory is yours, now and forever. Amen.

Mr and Mrs Gabbard we are so sorry to hear of your trouble and be assured our prayers are with you.
As a brother in Christ, not knowing or having walked with you the word has still shown us much. We (family) pray in the name of Jesus that you are in the Word of life that you achieve the blessing of God’s spirit everyday with all Wisdom and Spiritual Understanding through his teaching.
With the help of your “Wonderful One”, May the peace that passes all understanding be with you, and you would know the Hope of Glory. Christ Jesus be with you and in his name…
God Bless Tulsi, prayers up for you and your husband, fight the good fight.
St Peregrine’s miraculous healing came from Jesus Christ Himself.
St. Peregrine Laziosi is the patron saint of cancer patients and those suffering from serious illnesses.
As a young man, Peregrine was deeply involved in the anti-papal movement. A pivotal moment occurred in 1283 when St. Philip Benizi, the Prior General of the Servite Order, was sent to Forlì to mediate peace. During a confrontation, the 18-year-old Peregrine struck Benizi in the face. Instead of retaliating, Benizi offered the other cheek, an act of profound forgiveness that deeply moved Peregrine. Filled with remorse, he sought Benizi’s forgiveness, marking the beginning of his conversion.
Religious Life
Inspired by a vision of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Peregrine traveled to Siena and joined the Servite Order. He was later ordained a priest and eventually returned to Forlì to found a new Servite house. He became renowned for his fervent preaching, his work as a gentle confessor, and his deep devotion to helping the poor and sick. He practiced severe penance, famously vowing to stand whenever possible and not to sit for thirty years.
The Miraculous Healing
In his sixties, the long-term effects of his penance led to varicose veins, which deteriorated into a cancerous, gangrenous sore on his leg. The condition became so severe that doctors decided amputation was necessary. The night before the surgery, Peregrine spent hours in prayer before a crucifix. He fell into a trance and had a vision of Jesus Christ descending from the cross and touching his leg. When he awoke, his leg was completely healed. This miracle greatly enhanced his reputation as a “Wonder-Worker.”
Death and Veneration
St. Peregrine died on May 1, 1345, at the age of 84 or 85. His body rests in the Basilica of Saint Pellegrino Laziosi in Forlì. He was declared Blessed in 1609 and officially canonized by Pope Benedict XIII on December 27, 1726. His feast day is celebrated on May 1st, and he is venerated as the patron saint of those suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses.
Devotion to him centers on prayers for healing, strength, and acceptance of God’s will.
Prayers to St. Peregrine for Tulsi Gabbard and her husband Abraham for healing, strength, and acceptance of God’s will. Amen.
Sundance,
Any thoughts on who her successor may be?
Thank you.
Dang. I think so highly of her. Wishing her husband a quick and full recovery.
The husband takes priority and that’s how it should be. Tulsi is a breath of fresh air in a political world that is gross on most days. I hope that Abraham receives the best care possible and that they both can look back on this as a tough fight but one that they triumphed over. I am grateful for everything that they have sacrificed for the greater good.
I will miss Tulsi at the ODNI and the stellar job she has done. She is a breath of fresh air. ❤️🩹🙏
The excruciating pain and shock when the one closest to your soul gets sick is beyond words.
Sundance says it best and ONLY God can give the strength for this battle.
Supernatural God strength.
God is close to the brokenhearted.
Our hearts are broken in unity with her as we too, understand.
❤️✝️🙏🫂🦅
